relaxing family time with comfortable accomodations

When making the reservation, we were told the unit would have air conditioning. This was a key reason for selecting the unit since we had used it 2 years ago. The air was not installed until the pm of our arrival which was a disappointment. Eventually the cabin cooled off. The temperatures were between 90-96 outside all week long.
It was not as clean as our prior visits(cobwebs, bee's nest in the outdoor grill, etc)Perhaps that was due to the fact it was a summer rental and not cleaned regularly. The bedrooms need sound proofing bedrooms as even baby footsteps could be clearly heard overhead.
On the other hand, the environment was very pleasant. we liked the colors, decorating and other amenities. It is filled with light and open space which is very nice. It is close to many hiking and sightseeing opportunities. I can imagine it is wonderful during the skiing season, too, with the lodge and hill nearby.

We enjoyed our stay at Snow'd inn. We loved the shuttle service! It was quick and easy. We loved the torch parade and fireworks on New Year's Eve- We could see it from the deck! The only downfall was it was so noisy for the people sleeping downstairs. Every footstep, every conversation was like having them in the room with you. No sound barrier between floors. Very clean and cozy. Great service at check in and at ski rentals1

We thought Snow'd Inn was very comfortable and had all the amenities. We liked the open floor plan and the light, airy feel of the main room. We spent late afternoons on the deck, enjoying the wildlife. We had a lovely stay.
What a great weekend!

We had a wonderful weekend. The cabin was great, it was close enought to the lodge yet remote enough to be away from the traffic. We had a mud room where we could leave all of our ski stuff so walking into the cabin and not getting everything wet was nice. The view we had from our balcony of the ski hills at night was nice. The weather was perfect. We had a hard time finding lightbulbs when they burned out but we made due.
Very nicely updated

We've stayed at Big Powderhorn 3 times. This last time we rented "Snow'd Inn" for group of 10 people - 6 adults, 4 children, 4 separate families in all. There was plenty of room for all of us. The kitchen was a bit small, but the info on the place said that it will be updated this summer. The rest of the house has all been recently updated. Of the three places, we'd stayed, it was definitely the nicest. The staff at Big Powderhorn have always been very friendly and very accomodating. We bring our very young children with us and they always provide whatever we need.
