This charming A frame chalet has a large loft overlooking a spacious living room which provides a gorgeous view of the ski hill through a large wall of windows. Tastefully decorated with peaceful surroundings and a large private yard for great sledding or building snowmen with little ones and frequent deer sightings.

Check in was flawless; very nice staff.
The updates to the kitchen/dining/living room area are beautitful! The chalet was clean and well-kept.
Clean, well-equipped kitchen for cooking.
We have stayed in this unit for over 20 years and still appreciate all of its charm. -

We enjoyed the location, large parking area and big yard for the kids to play. The children especially enjoyed the snow igloo they found. The view was great and we found the unit roomy and very comfortable for the size of our group. It does have a musty smell.

We always enjoy using the fireplace. We like using the kitchen coffemaker and microwave. Nitelites are good.
The shower heads are not good! You need a metal pail
handy for emptying ashes and the the fireplace grate
needs to be replaced with a more open spaced type ( it's easier to start). Liked the new floor. Again, I want to thank Rudy for setting us up in the Vista View and honoring the 10% discount. -

A beautiful setting, very well equipped, everything worked, comfortable, roomy, clean. The only problem was that the water pump failed the morning of our departure. We notified management and I assume this problem was corrected.
Four of us stayed there and we all agreed we would definitely rent this place again. It's a winner. -

We have stayed at Powderhorn for several years during our July 4th vacation, and this was the very best stay for us, largely due to the great chalet that we stayed in. It was clean, very well stocked, and in a great location.
We will recommend others, and we will request the same location next summer.

We loved Vista View. Very spacious, lots of seating, comfy king size bed. Could easily accomodate 2 families of 4-5 each. We had 13 deer visit the backyard one evening and watched throught he picture window. The dryer was a big plus as it was 40-50 degrees while we were there and all our gear got wet. We loved the flat screen TV. Only improvement would be to fix the front steps. We would definitely stay here again!

We had 11 people stay for 3 nights Dec.09 to Jan 10. The kitchen was incredibly well stocked with supplies. Sleeping for a large number of people was comfortable and not crowded. The layout is perfect for a large group. The view of the ski hill was beautiful. We enjoyed access to the shuttle to get around. The only issue we had was the home smelled musty upon arrival and the smell was noted each time we returned. It is likely due to wet carpets that could be addressed and significantly improve the home. Overall we were very happy with our stay.
