The town of Gifhorn is only 5 km to the north, and if you are in the area, do not miss a chance to visit the Mill Museum and the beautiful, local Russian Orthodox church. If you are interested in cars, you will be glad to know that Wolfsburg, the home of Volkswagen, is only 15 km from Isenbuettel.
