Casa Mar Turquesa is a tranquil vacation retreat near Isla Mujeres' Punta Sur, sitting high above the cliffs overlooking the turquoise sea of the Caribe. It offers two spacious and comfortable Studio Suites with unsurpassed ocean views through the sliding glass doors opening onto the balcony above, or the patio below. Each Studio sleeps one or two persons in queen bed, has a full kitchen, traditional Mexican tile in the bathrooms, satellite TV and sitting/dining area.

These studios are located at the south end of the island, in a quiet and tranquil area. Transportation is recommended for this location. The cliffs in front of the property are a perfect place to walk and enjoy the ocean breezes, watch the waves roll in and view the frolicking pelicans as they dive into the water for fish. You will see many iguanas, birds, and if you are lucky, a dolphin or turtle passing by

Had a great time on our ten day stay. Very quiet and peaceful. A golf cart is needed though as it is a ways down on the island. Beautiful spot. Also enjoyed the owners dogs.

We enjoyed our month at this little place. The owners were helpful and available when needed as they live there. We chose to have a golf cart for our entire stay so that we could get around when we wanted and not have to call for a taxi.
I wish the beds were softer and the pillows better.But this is a problem in many places ! Also note that the balcony on the upper studio is small and when sitting there you can't see the water since the wall around it is so high.There were bar stools out there to sit on as well as chairs.The kitchen was well equipped and the aC worked when needed.There is a somewhat awkward bathroom set up. You must stand in the shower to close the bathroom door. But you'll get used to it!
Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend it as long as you want to be out of Centro.
