At the forefront of Xanadu’s many desirable features is its light, open, and airy living space, with floor to ceiling windows throughout the unit to obtain incredible views. There are two comfortable seating areas which enable guests to choose space for conversation or quiet reading time... or to enjoy music or a movie without disturbing each other. A central atrium separates the sitting area by the entrance from the living room on the ocean side. The dining area is located in the passageway between the two seating areas and is open to the atrium by means of concealed sliding windows, almost giving the impression of dining outdoors.

The two bedrooms, one with king bed and the other with a queen and a single, have closets with built in dressers and ample storage for your luggage. The queen bed has halogen reading lights. Both bedrooms have ocean views through the floor to ceiling sliding glass doors, all of which, including those in the adjacent living room, open onto a terrace overlooking the the lower deck where an infinity swimming pool with jacuzzi and sunning area beckon. A spiral staircase from this terrace provides direct access down to the pool deck below.

A large bathroom features double sinks and a shower high enough for the tallest guest. Attractive marble flooring is found throughout the house. The full kitchen is complete with all appliances and cooking equipment, and is separated from the front sitting room by a tiled counter with stools.

As if all this weren’t enough, a climb to the rooftop terrace gives you access to yet another jacuzzi, a shaded swing for two, a large yoga or exercise area, and a palapa- shaded hammock area, from all of which you enjoy a 360 degree view of the Caribe, the Bay of Mujeres, and much of the island.

Picture a lazy afternoon siesta in the shaded hammock...allow the sound of the waves to lull you to sleep at night.... enjoy a starlit jacuzzi on the roof with the lights of Cancun in the distance...witness the spectacular sunrises and sunsets from the rooftop terrace.....these are some of the things of which vacation memories are made! Xanadu is on the airport road, walking distance to town and the main beach. This area has many other homes that are vacaton rentals, and is convenient to other places on the island via taxi, golf cart or moto.

  Our stay was fantastic! Nancy and Sandra were great and so very helpful! We loved every minute. It was so peaceful and just what we needed to get a rest. Even when our 3 children came to join us the 2nd week, there was plenty of room and we could all be together or go our separate ways. Sunbathing on the roof was private. Napping in hammocks with the ocean breeze blowing and listening to the waves was therapeutic. Exploring the island by golf cart and moto was fun and relaxing. We absolutely loved the whole experience from beginning to end.

  Great place and great location! Sandra (owner) was so accommodating. and helpful. We had a wonderful stay with our best friends!
  
  The rooms were spacious and we enjoyed the carribean breeze from all locations in the house! Loved the marble floors throughout and the built in couch was so comfy.
  
  Highly recommend Xanadu!! We hope to return someday soon...

  A lovely house perfectly situated with great ocean views and all

  This wonderful house is situated literally a stones throw from the spectacular Caribbean Coast. This was my first time staying in a beach house on the water and I was not disappointed. In fact it is going to be hard to beat this experience in the future.
  
  The house is so well designed that in any direction you look from anywhere in the house you are greeted with the exquisitely blue waters of the Caribbean or the Gulf of Mexico. The outdoor spaces are equally marvelous with a huge rooftop lounge area where my family and I enjoyed the views, the sea breeze, and being together in a little slice of paradise. The lower deck is also great with a nice pool and plenty of spaces to relax and enjoy watching the waves crash on the rocky shore.
  
  However, the views are not all that is wonderful about the house. It is a wonderfully designed with comfortable spaces for hanging out. The kitchen is a pleasure to cook in, the dining area is cheerful, and the bedrooms peaceful.
  
  The location too is a treat. It's just a short walk from the port and the charming walking, shopping, and restaurant district. There is easy access to the north beach as well. I can't wait to go back!
