La Del Patron ("The Boss's House")is a stunning contemporary two bedroom house located at the very end of the island, facing the Caribbean. This is a very private place, away from it all, and enclosed by walls and gates. Upon entering the gates, the beautiful pool and cascading waterfall are to your left, with a patio area for sunning poolside on the lounge chairs provided, with umbrellas for shade,and surrounded by lush trees and plants native to the area. The two story house is ahead, and can be entered either from the front or at the back kitchen door, where another patio area with table for outdoor dining and a built-in barbecue add to th...e allure.

Entering from the rear patio area, there is a service area and then the fully equipped kitchen. Straight ahead is the living and dining room, facing full wraparound windows looking out on the garden and pool. The house is very comfortably and attractively furnished throughout, and decorated impressively with colorful and interesting art and artesania from many areas of Mexico and other places. A corridor between the living room and the kitchen houses a bathroom and leads to the lower, spacious master bedroom with king bed, and a comfortable sitting area in front of the sliding glass doors leading out to a terrace. There is also another full bathroom adjacent to the bedroom. Going back toward the kitchen, stairs lead up to the second floor, where there is another large open sitting area, with balconies on both sides facing the Caribbean and the Bahia de Mujeres, and leading into the other master bedroom, also with king bed and bathroom, and with sliding glass doors opening onto the balcony on the Caribe side.

The staircase leads further up to the rooftop, where a spectacular view of the whole island awaits you. There is space within the gated area to put a golf cart or car.

This gorgeious home is located at the very tip of the island at Punta Sur, facing the Caribbean Ocean. A golf cart or other means of transportation is recommended, and there is sheltered parking available within the gates.Nearby is Garrafon de Castilla, where you can swim and snorkel all day for about $4. There are a couple of restaurants within walking distance. The cliffs along the ocean are a great place to walk and enjoy the pelicans, turtles and dolphins which can be seen here, as well as the typical flora and fauna of the island, including a multitude of iguanas.

  This is located at the southern tip of Isla Mujeres at the bend in the road. On one side you have the Caribbean, in fact you are at the eastern-most point of Mexico. On the other, you have a great view of Cancun.
  
  We stayed for five nights and traveled by golf cart. The island is so small that it took at most 20 minutes to get to the amazing North Beach from the southern tip. Location is not an issue with this property.
  
  It is located steps from Garrafon park, a sculpture park, and cafe and restaurant.
  
  The house itself is deceptively large. Only two bedrooms but each bedroom is large, one with a separate sunken sitting area, with large windows. Bedroom on the top floor has a balcony. There is a large kitchen, dining table, and living room below and a second sitting room with tv above. Rooftop patio as well for even better views. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained and the pool is large and deep. We felt perfectly safe and secure throughout our visit.
