One can walk into the adjacent colonia to get a taste of local life or to buy snacks and drinks, and a new supermarket is also within walking or taxi range. There are also several popular restaurants within walking distance, and a restaurant and bar located next door at Casa Ixchel. Parking is available on-site.

House was nice, had a few issues though. If you go with more than 4 people, there really are not enough bathrooms. Needs to be at least one more bathroom.
The small bedroom upstairs, is just that, a very small bedroom. Just concrete walls and an ac . The two bedrooms downstairs had only two drawers to put your clothes and a small bar to hang 2 or 3 pieces of clothing . The large room upstairs is nice, however believe it or not there is no place to hang clothes. We literally lived out of our suitcases.
House keeper Irma was there just about any time we needed her. Carlos the pool guy was there every other day to clean pool, and was very helpful. Carlos is the property manager for the house next door and we saw him way more than the property manager for our house.
We did have to email property manager every other day to make sure we had bottled water .at all times. There are no addresses on the houses so when we got there we gave the name of the house to the taxi drivers and they had a hard time finding it. All eight of us were crammed into two taxis with all our luggage riding around trying to find our house. Very uncomfortable, but we all laughed it off! So we suggest that you have your golf carts waiting for you when you arrive!
Other than that the views from the house were great! We enjoyed the pool everyday and loved touring the island at our luxury. We would go back to the island but will probably stay on another property, -

I would recommend this rental to all my freinds and family. Close to everything, yet far enough away to be isolated.
