Additional Information

The best way to reach Isla Mujeres is to take a taxi or shuttle van from Cancun airport to the Ultramar terminal in Puerto Juarez. The boat from Puerto Juarez to Isla Mujeres runs every 1/2 hour until 8:30pm, then once every hour with the last boat crossing at 11:30pm.   I recently returned from my fourth visit to Casa de las Cupulas and am already planning my next trip back! I enjoyed watching spectacular sunrises and sunsets, taking a dip in the swimming pool, relaxing in the hammocks and hanging bed, playing tennis and basketball on the court, and gazing at the expansive sky and stars. The house is equipped with a Bose surround sound system which makes relaxing or eating outside a treat.
  The food at the house is the best on the island. Amira, the housekeeper and cook, accommodated my vegan diet and prepared a delicious and healthy array of meals and snacks (the guacamole is my favorite!).
  The house and grounds are well maintained and feel very safe and secure. The home is located in the south point of the island which provides a more private environment. The home is a short distance from the Ixchel ruins and the Eastern most point of Mexico, and it is only steps to the beach that is host to beautiful shells and even a few iguanas!
  I can't wait to return, I have had five star service during every experience!

  Casa de las Cupulas was one of the most relaxing houses I have ever stayed at. The house has an amazing view of the ocean from every single room and has full time service which is dedicated to your comfort.
  
  I would recommend this house to anyone who loves a laid back island vacation, warm breezes and sun. The pool is a perfect place to spend hot afternoons and the tennis court is a great way to work off the calories you put on from the endless guacamole. I hadn't played tennis in 8 years and this vacation got me right back in the swing of things. Dont forget your racket and balls!
  
  The location is an easy and cheap cab ride into town and is far enough away for a quiet night. There are plenty of bars and restaurants on this side of the island as well. I would recommend "The Joint" or "Beer So Cold it will Hurt Your Teeth".
  
  The food at the house was some of the best Mexican food I have ever had. Make sure to have amira stock up on avocado because her Guac is to die for! Also make sure to get their special fish (cant remember the name).
  
  Definitely visit Casa De Las Cupulas!

  A Little Piece of Paradise

  The villa was extremely comfortable and staff only willing to please. The food made by Amira, the cook, was authentic and savory. The 2 dogs on the property were extremely friendly and kept us company on the long walks we took along the cliffs of the ocean. The owner informed us of the history of the Island and recommended some fine restaurants. We had a truly relaxing holiday. - Theresa and David L., New Jersey, USA

  We spent a week here in Isla with family and friends and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Our accommodations were excellent and the service by the staff was exceptional. Every need was seen to by the home owner personally and it was truly a memorable vacation. We witnessed spectacular sun and moon rises and sampled some local cuisine prepared for us by the cook! The house dog and cat were fabulous fun for our 1 year old and couldn't have been more tolerant of her! Don't hesitate to book this beautiful home!

  Wonderful vacation. Spectacular home w/spectacular surroundings. Excellent cook, accomodating & friendly owner & a superb grounds-keeper. This was one of the most relaxing vacations ever & the Isla of Mujeres is perfect-small, still authentic, friendly & beautiful beaches. The home is beautiful through-out-marble floors, gourmet kitchen, gorgeous dining room. Each bedroom very comfortable & with private baths. Guest house quiet & comfy & A/C through-out. The pool/patio great for early morning swims/late afternoon drinks and late night dips. Will be back for sure! Love the dogs & cat.
