Beautiful 3 bedroom Beach House. Casa de Serenidad is located on the tropical island paradise of Isla Mujeres, just a short ferry ride from Cancun, Mexico. This home is the ideal place for families or couples who love all that the island has to offer, and who want the comfort and spaciousness of their own private villa. Casa de Serenidad is located about halfway down the island on the Caribbean coastline. If you love the ocean, this is a fantastic chance to experience it. The ocean views from the patios are spectacular and just a few steps away, your private beach awaits you. A great place to play in the waves, shell, walk in the surf or try... your hand at some shore fishing. Well known for it's mild ocean breezes, Casa de Serenidad offers you one of the most comfortable experiences on the island, even in the hottest of seasons. The first floor has a large palapa patio, with imported ceramic tile, natural grass roof and parasitic vine poles. The expansive deck is able to accommodate large groups with a variety of tables, chairs, loungers and hammocks. Whether it is dinner time or happy hour, time for some sun, or time to curl up with a good book, you will find the perfect place to lull away the hours.

The beautiful tiled deck extends into the open-air indoor living area which is equipped with sliding glass door panels that open completely to the outside to expand your living experience. For your viewing enjoyment, the living room is furnished with comfortable seating and a corner entertainment center equipped with a 32ā€¯ HD flat screen TV an X-Box media console loaded with music, games and movies. An additional bathroom is also located on this level. The kitchen and bar with hand-cut Tecul countertops is fully-equipped to handle everything from a blended margarita to a five course meal. The spacious lower-level bedroom also features sliding glass panels that open to the outside. Beyond the glass panels is a terrace perfect for spending a little bit of private time. The bedrooms in the house accommodate 6 people comfortably with a king sized mattress in the first floor master and queen sized mattresses in the two second floor bedrooms. For larger groups, additional twin airbeds are available upon request. The finishing touch of the upstairs is a beautifully tiled palapa terrace with an amazing view of the Caribbean ocean. It is the place to be if you love an early sunrise. During the day, it makes a perfect and private tanning deck and, at night you can watch the moon rise over the water and see the ships pass by under the moon-lit starry skies. ā€¦and at the end of your day, you can pick your favorite place and let the sounds of the surf lull you into dreams of another perfect day in Paradise.

Casa de Serenidad is located right on the ocean, mid-island on the lovely island of Isla Mujeres. It is off of a Mexican colonia, or neighborhood where you will find many restaurants ranging from inexpensive loncharias and taco stands to placs where you can experience gourmet dining. There are paved walkways for leisurely strolls along the ocean or around the local salina (lake) nearby. Taxis pass the house frequently for a cheap, fast way into town, but there is also off-street parking for two golf carts.

  We stayed at Casa de Serenidad from May 9th thru the 16 2013. This was our 4th trip to Isla, and while none of the places we stayed were "bad" in any way, Serenidad was by far the best place we have stayed. From the very first contact with Phil and Bernadette, they were helpful, on top of any emails & responded quicky with answers. The packet they send with information and helpful hints before you arrive is awesome.
  Once you arrive, the property is absolutely stunning and breath-taking. The patio's, pool, upper palapa patio...the entire house, amazing! You immediately feel welcome and at home, especially when you look inside the fridge the first time...excellent touch! There was no detail over looked.
  The first night the aC in the master bedroom went out. Might have been from my C-pap machine. Called Drew, the property manager who was there with in 10 minutes, and had it back up & running in 5 minutes. He stopped by once again to bring fresh towels.
  It was such fun to sit on the patio and watch the people swim and play in the waves, and even more fun to join them.

  Awesome rental experience

  My wife and I had the pleasure of staying at Casa de Serenidad with four other members of our family. From the moment that we walked through the front gates we knew we had chosen the right place. The panoramic views of the Caribe were absolutely breathtaking. Finding the key in the lockbox, we entered to check out our new digs for the week. We arrived hungry and and finding beverages, chips and salsa supplied by the owners was a welcoming touch.
  
  The property manager, Drew, dropped by to familiarize us with some things and to answer any questions we had. The downstairs master suite was roomy, with a comfortable king sized bed and sliding doors that opened to a private terrace. The women enjoyed reading there in the morning. The two bedrooms upstairs were smaller and had queen beds and shared a good-sized bathroom. We stopped for drinks at Villa la Bella - what a great place! Quiet, but very charming with a great swing bar. Then off to dinner at Monchie's, just a short walk down the street. The house worked out very well for our group. There were lots of places to hang outside, whether you wanted to be in the sun laying on a lounger, sitting at a table in the shade or at the palapa bar. There is also a large open deck on the upper level that was great for private sun bathing but also perfect for the masseuse that we hired. What a wonderful open air experience it was.
  
  We did a fair amount of cooking but still found opportunity to check out many of the recommended restaurants on the island.
  
  The dining room table seated the six of us comfortably and there was enough seating on chairs and couches when we finally sat down to watch a movie together. The owners have provided a movie library of about 200 movies - something for everyone.
  
  We were lucky that the beach below the house had lots of sand which is more common late Spring through the Fall. We loved playing in the water and then coming up and jumping in the pool to get the salt rinsed off. There was also an out door shower available. The pool was more than adequate for the six of us. It was mostly used for cooling off and relaxing with a drink. Honestly, none of us were interested in swimming laps.
  
  Drew stopped by several times to check on us. He is quite the character and very knowledgeable about the island. The WiFi worked great but for the most part we wanted to stay "unplugged". The house book left on the coffee table had a section of things to do and places to eat and we referred to it many times. The house location was great. Lots of great restaurants right in the neighborhood - Monchies, Pollo's Mango Cafe (rated best restaurant on the island by Trip advisor), a rottisserie chicken place, a bakery and several little places that had only a couple of tables on the street, but had great food. There was also a very nice convenience store, Ronco's, that was just down the street. We mostly went there for snacks and ice, but they also had a decent selection of wine and liquor. Our larger purchases were mostly made at the huge mega store, Chedrauri. We rented a golf cart for part of the week, but also took taxis which were plentiful. I have to say the best thing about Casa de Serenidad is the way the indoors opens up by opening the sliding walls to the outside. Nature is all around you from the everchanging views of the Caribbean to the landscaping on the front and back of the house - loved picking flowers for bouquets for the bar. We loved Isla Mujeres and we loved Casa de Serenidad. We hope you will have us back someday.
