Minimum Rental: 1 Month Oceanfront - Beach - Protected Dock and located in the Fishing Capital of the World - Islamorada. Realize your dreams - a beach home located on a swimmable beach and a place to dock your boat. This home is indeed a rare find in The Florida Keys. From the moment you arrive, you'll know you made the right decision. Spend a month or longer, escape from the city or the snow and ice, relax and enjoy life. The home is built on a direct oceanfront lot with the most magnificent views you can imagine. MY PARADISE is a comfortably furnished stilt home designed to take full advantage of the unobstructed ocean views. This home "li...ves" outside. The master suite and living area open to an oversized deck. A wall of glass doors by the dining area folds open to completely expose the interior living space to the outside. You can enjoy the sea breezes while preparing your meals, relaxing in the living room or enjoying a meal at the dining table. When you want to be outside, there is a dining table, rattan conversation area with tea table, oversized cushioned wooden lounge chairs and a gorgeous round table with an umbrella.

The master suite is located on the beach side of the house. Have breakfast in the king bed or read your morning paper while enjoying the ever-changing ocean views. The bath features double vanities, walk-in shower and raised toilet. The other two bedrooms are located on the street side of the home. One features a king bed and the other twin beds. The guest bath is located between them and easily accessible from the living area. There is a TV in every bedroom. The central part of this home includes the living, dining and kitchen areas, and features a vaulted ceiling. The living area is furnished with a comfy corner sectional sofa and several papa san chairs with ottomans for your relaxation pleasure. The kitchen offers plenty of counter space, a snack bar with stools and the dining area features a glass top table with 6 chairs for more formal dining - Keys style. This home is handicapped accessible and pet friendly. Dock your boat in the protected canal across the street. The dock is 30' and has electricity and water. This is a home you'll want to return to year after year.

Rate Details: Rent is $6,500 to $8,500/month depending on the season. Monthly Rates are calculated from the 1st day of the month to the last day of the month. Additional Charges: $225 departure cleaning fee; $200 processing fee; $69 accidental rental damage insurance; and 12.5% state and local taxes. Refundable Security Deposit: $1000. Utility Caps/Mo: $100 water and $100 electricity. Pet Fees: Pets are accepted at this property on a case by case basis. The pet fee is $150 per pet plus an additional $100 per pet security deposit.   My Paradise from architect's perspective

  My wife and I spend a month at My Paradise and, as an architect, there are certain aspects that bear mention. First, if the weather is mild, you can open the wall of folding glass doors and unite the main interior room (dining, den and kitchen) with the oversize teak deck. The deck itself is a marvel. A covered sitting area gets you out of the sun, with six teak sun loungers for warming up and working on your tan. The house is in a turtle nesting area, but is equipped with special yellow lights that give the beach a soft glow at night. The deck itself is fitted with a string of mini lights that give it a romantic glow at night.
  The entire interior is walled with pickled wood planking with clerestory windows that are complemented by recessed indirect lighting if you experiment with the myriad assortment of light controls.
  While the just-renovated kitchen can handle a group making meals, the second and third bedrooms, along with the second bath, make a nice mini-suite (the bedroom with the big bed has a private door to the bath, the real gem of the house is the master bedroom.
  The master suite has a bedroom with three walls of huge windows looking out onto the ocean. If you open the windows, you can fall asleep with the lapping of the waves as your lullaby. The entire house is fitted with motorized hurricane shutters for protection during storms. The master bath is huge and has an amazing walk-in shower that is roomy for two. The master closet, off the bathroom, is cedar lined and easily holds more than enough clothes for a month. The master suite has its own Hvac system, so you can cool it down on a balmy night for snuggling under the covers.
  The home has four TVs, a stereo system with speakers on the deck, Wi-Fi, cable and phone. There are swim fins, snorkels and masks for exploring the beach waters. My son and I came across a pair of manta rays that swam off as we watched in wonder.
  The beach is excellent for fishing, the boat dock is handy. Bring kayaks for fun
