We had a medical emergency on the day of arrival to anglers Reef, that required emergency surgery in Miami. Mike and his wife Blanka was by coincidence staying in their other house the same week as our stay. They assisted us in every way they could, to make our stay as comfortable as possible and to make the recovery process after surgery smoother and it resulted in us being able to return home on our scheduled flight home. We are very thankful for all the help that we got from them and other members of the anglers Reef community.
The house and community is spotless - very relaxing atmosphere. The ammenities are as described. Pool area is great, as is the area - not far from restaurants and shopping (although you need a car to do groceries - 10min away).
Mike and Blanka (and J&J;) we wish you all the best for the future - hope to meet you again sometime under better circumstances. -

This place is a gem. Everything is as described and the owners very were kind and helpful. The community is gorgeous and you're instantly in vacation mode once you are inside the gates. The pool area is great and the harbor is very convenient if you bring/rent a boat. There are some nice restaurants within walking distance and there are grocery stores (Publix) within 15min drive.

If you are looking for a place to relax and enjoy your time in the Keys, don't go any further you found your dream vacation rental at anglers Reef. Since I never rented before I felt like a fish out of water but Mike was a gem to work with; he answered all my questions and made me feel comfortable with the whole process.
The rental was beautiful, comfortable & clean with all the comforts of home. Heated pool, dock in a gated community, great restaurants & Bass Pro Shop down the road, all this smack in the middle of the Keys. Why would you want to go anywhere else?
I have vacationed in the Keys before and this place was absolutely wonderful, don't pass this one up. -

This has to be the best place to stay in the Florida Keys. Islamorada is between Key Largo and Marathon, laid-back and quiet. There are restaurants and bars within walking distance, and grocery stores and fish markets nearby. The Miami airport and Key West are about 90 minutes away. Angler's Reef is a new development landscaped like a colorful garden. The architecture is exceptional. This is an upscale community of friendly, professional families, retirees, and vacation homes. Not a "busy" place, there's always room at the pool during the day and the beach for sunrises and sunsets. We bought a kayak and stored it on the beach to take out around the key. We have stayed at 109 angler's Reef for January and February, 2012. Mike has been wonderful to work with, very responsive to any questions or needs. He keeps his villa spotlessly clean and maintained. Everything works. The two bedrooms upstairs have vaulted ceilings, balconies, and their own full baths, making this a perfect place for two couples. The downstairs has an open floorplan, high ceilings, a half bath, large kitchen, dining area and living room. Although the funishings are basic, they are adequate, new and comfortable. There are other rentals in this development which are more elaborately decorated but they are higher priced. Mike gave us an great rate for our two month stay which made this an excellent value for our winter stay away from Minnesota. As Mike says, "This is Paradise"!
