Looking for an amenity-laden cabin close to trails? This seven-bedroom Island Park home fits that bill. With a fully equipped kitchen, a washer/dryer and a fireplace, it won't disappoint.
Gather up a group of up to 14 people and head on over. After some fun-filled days of skiing, snowmobiling and hiking, you'll be ready to lay your head down on one of the comfortable beds. We had a group of 13 friends staying from Aug 25 - September 2, 2012 in the cabin. I had contacted Cheri of Island Park Reservations for the initial search of the vacation rental and she suggested this cabin at a discounted price. We are extremely satisfied with her suggestion for this cabin.
As advertised, each of the seven bedrooms has a attached bathroom. We had 5 couples in the group so it was really helpful for their privacy. Except Kitchen towel, the cabin has enough bathroom and kitchen supplies for the week. All standard kitchen appliances and cookwares were there. There was enough tableware and silverware for the whole group. The dinning room and living room was large enough for all of us. We even found a good DVD collection.
Our main purpose was to visit Yellowstone National Park. West entry was about 22 miles from the cabin which was OK. Nearest town from the cabin is West Yellowstone which is 20 miles away. But there are gas station, small grocery store, subway within a block distance from the cabin.
The cabin has no internet access which we found was a blessing in disguise. However, we got moderate AT&T and Verizon services in the cabin. Trash disposal landfill site is 5 mile away from the cabin.
Final words, if traveling in a big group in that area, definitely check whether this cabin is available. -

Had the first reunion ever with 5 younger siblings and we are all in our 60's. It was the best. The sleeping arrangements were just about perfect - was beginning to think we needed an elevator. the kitchen was well equiped and that huge dining room table was great and allowed 11 of us to eat at the same time. Was a cozy set up, well stocked, clean and confortable. We had all been raised in the area, so we did know where we were and where we were going. Thanks.
