This was a great cabin for our extended family, wildlife to watch, short walk to the lake. Our only disappointment was on arrival the kitchen floor was sticky, the driveway was littered with cigarette butts, and the fridge smelled horribly of fish. We called the manager's office but in the end getting rid of the smell was left to us. After going out and buying baking soda boxes etc., the smell was gone after a couple days but it was a huge inconvenience to not be able to use the fridge most of our time there for fear of our food absorbing the fish smell. Luckily there was a 2nd fridge downstairs. The rest of the house was clean and overall we really enjoyed our stay.

We stayed here with 23 people (13 adults, 2 teenagers, 8 kids). Island Park Rentals made it possible for our parents to park their trailer (they were traveling all summer) on the property. They stayed in the trailer. So, we comfortably slept 11 adults. The kitchen was a great size. We had more than enough room. And had a great family trip. The cabin is a ways out, and on a dirt road. It was awesome to be out "there", but getting to some of our activities did take longer than we had planned/expected. But overall, not a huge issue. It was easy working Island Park Rentals. We called them when we first arrived - and they quickly answered our questions. Everything was first rate. Thanks, again, for a great stay!

The lodge was exceptionally clean and comfortable, and worked well for our reunion group, which consisted of several families, each with kids...plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms, new televisions and state of the art kitchen, accessible garage, game room. Don't miss watching the fog roll off of the reserve as the sun rises, while enjoying a hot cup of coffee, sitting on the large deck. Only a half an hour from Yellowstone, it was the perfect location to enjoy the national park during the day and the quietness of Island Park at night.

The Cabin was very nice with all the comforts of home. The location was difficult to get to by truck in all the snow but a great location for being alone once arrived. There was plenty of living space to break up into our little groups and play loud if wanted but to sleep unbothered in another area. Kitchen was fantastic, with a large work space, huge table and most of the essentials. It could use a knife sharpener or sharp knives (not a deal breaker).
We had a great time and can't wait to go back next year. -

The lodge really fit our group and our needs. We could have used some ice melt---the steps got really icy. We tried to keep the snow shoveled off of them, but they still got a build-up of ice on them.
The snow mobile trails were really mogully. Don't know if you can do anything about that. Over-all it was a great place to stay and I would definitely recommend it to other people.
