Overlooking the Atlantic coast of the Isle of Lewis, Ocean View is a traditional croft house that has been extensively renovated and improved to offer comfortable accommodation for up to four guests. The house features exposed stone walls and an open hearth, as well as central heating, two bathrooms, fully equipped kitchen with new appliances, washer, dryer, and payphone. Ocean View stands in its own grounds, overlooking both the Atlantic and Loch Mor Bharabhais, and in most weathers is within sound of the surf. Located in crofting country, surrounded by croft fields and overlooking the North Atlantic. A ten minute walk takes you to the shore, where waymarked paths guide you along beaches, dunes, seacliffs, coastal machair and moorland. Salmon and trout fishing, excellent birdwatching, hillwalking, ancient ruins are all within walking distance. In most weathers the house is in sound of the surf.
