Nothing too much trouble for the hosts.Ideal location for any visit summer or winter.

great accommodation in a beautiful setting

Left on 10/14/2011 for a stay in August 2011

we stayed in Beech Lodge after 2 weeks roughing it in a tent around Scotland. the lodge did not disappoint and was exactly what we were needing to relax and unwind. the kids loved exploring the garden safe from midges which seemed to be completely controlled by the midge eater. Andrew is also very friendly, welcoming and a mine of information about Mull.

Very comfortable and beautifully appointed lodge

Left on 09/25/2011 for a stay in September 2011

We had a lovely week in Beech Lodge. It is very comfortable and clean. It has to be the best appointed Lodge we have ever stayed in, there was nothing the owners had failed to provide. We very much apprieciated the lodges being as environmentally friendly as possible.Mull is a beautiful island , full of wonderfull wild life and we would recommend Cill-Mhoire Lodges to anyone.

      Does Mull Proud

Left on 07/16/2011 for a stay in July 2011

We're regular travellers to Mull and as "creatures of habit" we were sightly disappointed that the place we normally stay was fully booked around the time we wanted to travel this year. So it was with a little nervousness we booked up at Cill-Mhoire ... However we needn't have worried.

Beech Lodge was clean, comfortable, well equipped with nice touches like some basic supplies being provided. We no longer have kids who come away with us, but if we did they would have found loads of games & books provided with which to amuse themselves. The only thing that stopped me giving an overall "excellent" was lack of washing machine - but we knew this in advance & I know andrew said this was changing at the end of the 2011 season.

Andrew was a friendly, accommodating and helpful host, without being "in your face". And use of the Vodafone Sure Signal Service was a nice surprise - in the past trying to make a mobile call has involved leaving the cottage we were staying in, walking up the nearest hill and then trying to find a position to hold the phone where you get at least 1 bar !! So getting 3 bars in the lodge was a real plus.

We go to Mull to get away from the rat race, walk & birdwatch (well I birdwatch - husband reads and practices his interested look !!). We already knew Dervaig well; it's a beautiful location particularly in the evening watching the waders do their thing whilst the sun goes down over Loch a Chummhain; but this time it was a real plus to be staying within easy walking distance of the Bellachroy Inn - in the past we've always had a fight over who gets to drive back to the cottage so the other can sample the wide array of single malts after a superb meal !!

So - If you want peace, tranquility, cracking scenery, friendly natives, great food, superb walking, unsurpassed native wildlife encounters ... Mull is the place to go. It never fails to impress and Cill-Mhoire certainly doesn't fail Mull !!

      comfortable and convenient accommodation

Left on 06/18/2011 for a stay in June 2011

We stayed here as two adult couples. The lodge was warm, clean and comfortable, and the hosts very welcoming. The lodge served us very well in our visit wich was orientated to wildlife watching and photography.
It was convenient for Tobermory, the north of the Island, Ulva and its ferries, and within easy walking distance of the excellent pub with good food, the Bellachory.
It would perhaps be not so convenient for Iona (about 1 hr away by car). We will be very happy to return

Comfortable stay with friendly hosts - a perfect base.

Left on 05/25/2011 for a stay in May 2011

Well positioned accomodation with friendly hosts on site. The lodge itself was extremely comfortable, a nice longue/dining main room and three bedrooms (one double, one twin and one bunk). The kitchen is on the small side but fine for our needs. The wet room was extremely useful for six people and especially as the weather wasn't the best during our stay! 10 minute drive from Tobermory and less than half an hour from Craignure ferry. A perfect stay and I'm sure we'll be back again at some point.
