Doncaster and SheffieldA wonderful base to explore
Left on 08/16/2012 for a stay in July 2012
We received bad news on the first day of our holiday but despite this the highlands and islands managed to work their charm. The cottage itself was clean, nicely furnished and welcoming. I'd happily live there. The views are lovely to look at over breakfast or when resting after a hard day. We thoroughly enjoyed our week's stay and found plenty to do. But to explore thoroughly you have to like driving.

LothersdaleLovely home, awesome location!
Left on 06/16/2012 for a stay in May 2012
We had a fantastic week in Seil with a week of superb weather. The property was excellent, clean, tidy and with all creature comforts. A great base for the Islands and wild life spotting. We hope to retire to this area after many years of holidaying and Munro bashing in Scotland, so was a good base to loook round the area - would consider Seil.
Please pass on our compliments to Mr & Mrs Mitchell. Two little tweaks might be useful. The upright can opener did not work on most tins and the spout / pourer on the electric kettle was not good even when poured slowly and half full. It dripped a lot of boiling water onto the worktop around it and could scold hands etc.
After getting back we tried to cancel another booking at Kinliven and book this one again but the cancellation costs were too expensive. We shall return as some stage - early 2013.
Thanks

StirlingComfortable, practical and well equipped.
Left on 08/27/2011 for a stay in August 2011
Comfortable, practical and well equipped. It made a good base for walking, useful lobby for wet coats and boots! Dog friendly but garden not enclosed. Able to access rough grazing area immediately behind house for exercising dog. Not good walking in immediate area so needed car all the time. Nice view from comfortable living room and sitting out area in garden. No mobile reception.

This cottage is well situated and was well equipped with all necessary for a comfortable stay. There was a slight problem with the TV which was remedied quickly by the Oban contact but with the super view it was not too important anyway.

Left on 11/07/2010 for a stay in August 2010
This cottage has the most beautiful view, even when it is raining. The garden is a very tranquil place to sit and the whole the holiday was very relaxing. The accomodation had every thing you might need except somewhere to dry clothes if the weather was not good. Neighbours were friendly as were most of the locals we met. Everyone wanted a chat in all the shops and attractions.
