This delightful first floor apartment is situated in the Isle of Whithorn in Dumfries and Galloway and can sleep two people in one bedroom. 8 Ninian's Landing is situated in the Isle of Whithorn in Dumfries and Galloway. The cottage sleeps two people and has one double bedroom, a bathroom and an open plan living area consisting of a fitted kitchen, a dining area and a sitting area. Outside, the cottage benefits from off road parking for one car and is very close to the local harbour. With fresh local seafood to enjoy, stunning walks and ample fishing opportunities all nearby, 8 Ninian's Landing is a fantastic setting for your holiday in Scot...land.

Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Cot and highchair. Parking space for 1 car in rear courtyard with additional parking nearby. One well-behaved dog welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop 5 mins walk, pub next door. Note: There is limited mobile phone coverage in the property.

Region: From the lush green farmlands of the Borders to the ruggedness of the Highlands, the Scots are proud of their land and identity. Scotland also has some of Britain’s best beaches with glorious stretches of clean sand over which to roam.

Town: Although it is no longer an island the village of Isle of Whithorn still retains the name as a link to its historic past. The village lies by the harbour on the southern tip of the Machars Peninsula, and the area has been designated as an outstanding conservation area. The village has a rich history, and trading from the port dates back to Viking times and there are the remains of a 13th century chapel at the end of the harbour. This region is steeped in ancient and modern history and there are countless sites of historical interest to visit, from Iron Age and Mesolithic Forts to standing stones. Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the "Winter" period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday. "Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.

  This is a lovely apartment. Fantastic views of harbour from the kitchen/diner windows and can see lots of birds at low and high tides. Very well presented inside. Steps up from courtyard lead to great area for a dog. Hosts have thought of everything!

  What a wonderful place to stay

  This flat is beautifully placed on the harbour at Whithorn and we loved bird watching from the window, spotting all sorts of waders whilst enjoying our breakfast. The owners of the flat have pulled out all of the stops with a beautifully decorated and extremely well equipped rental. It instantly felt like home, with a soft comfy sofa, lovely cushions and rugs. The welcome pack was also very thoughtful and enabled us to start our holiday asap. The flat has private parking, which we think is really important. The foyer part of the building had a wonderful nautical theme, which we loved, especially the diving boots and equipment and the barometers etc on the walls. Back to the flat, as a young-ish couple, we felt it provided everything we needed, with everything being easy to use. At night, despite being next door but one to the pub, it was quiet and peaceful, enabling us to have a good nights sleep in the wonderfully comfortable bed. A great place to rent in a beautiful spot
