En Croustet is an old farmhouse which has kept it's traditional look while preparing a greener future, solar panels for electricity and hot water and a wood burning boiler.
Situated in the foot hills of the "Montain Noire", facing south with the Pyrénées on the horizon, the large garden has a natural swimming pool , swings, a pond with fish and tadpoles and barbecues
In between the two airports of Carcassonne(30Km) and Toulouse(50Km), it's an ideal base for visiting the Pays Cathar.
This relaxing country location is an ideal center for walking, cycling or visiting places like Castelnaudary for the cassoulet, Carcassonne for the magnificent medieval city, and lake St.Ferreol source of the canal du midi and a summer time favorite for picnics and water sports.
