Utterly modern and functional, the enchanting Galata Tower VIP has a sensuous Ottoman atmosphere, like a 21st century Sherazade... Just metres away from the emblematic Galata Tower, this one bedroom apartment is set on a newly renovated historic building. The vaulted ceilings, neutral colour palette and raw wooden floors partially covered with intricate woven Turkish rugs confer a harmonious tranquillity.

The living room has an informal elegance featuring... a comfortable sofa bed, an Ottoman footstool of course, a coffee table and for your leisure time there is a flat screen TV & DVD and Wi-Fi Internet Service. A charming dining table next to the big windows gives this space a special snug homey feeling.

The pure white open plan kitchen is fully equipped with everything you might need to prepare your meals: electrical stove, microwave/oven, full size fridge, cupboard and utensils. And to make your life easier there is a dishwasher plus a washing/dryer combo.

To relax and rejuvenate, the bright and stylish bedroom is perfectly fitted out with two cosy single beds, a romantic armchair, a chest of drawers and a mirror. The bathroom is minty fresh and tidy.

The Galata Tower VIP radiates an exotic elegance balancing convenience and comfort. It's on the ground floor and it can house a maximum of four persons.

Additional Location Information

The apartment is located on the Galata District which for hundreds of years was a Genoese settlement. Today Galata is one of the most typical quarters of Istanbul, a bohemian district which attracts artists, writers and intellectuals.

To have an awesome panoramic view just climb up the Galata Tower and see a 360-degree perspective of the city with its seven hills. You'll be transported by the allure of Istanbul’s skyline, where Asia meets Europe, where ancient glories meet this fascinating 21st century city. On one side there is the historical peninsula with its amazing monuments such as the Topkapi Palace, the St. Sophia, the Golden Horn. From the other side you'll have a fantastic view of the majestic Bosphorus Strait.

Numerous cafés, tiny fish restaurants and lively pubs are located under the Galata Bridge. Colourful flowers hang toward the street from the tall wide windows of the buildings. The restaurants on the penthouse floors offer home cooking and in the evenings various traditional melodies resonate in the ancient streets. The night scene on nearby Taksim is vibrating and trendy.

A ten minute walk will take you to the old city of Sultanahmet -St. Sophia, Topkapi Palace, Sultan Ahmet Mosque, the Blue Mosque, the splendid Grand Bazaar"¦ Various means of transportation pass by: metro, tram and a ferry sea stop which connects with the other side of the city and the Princess Islands’ sea stations.
