Description from the owner
pasha!place is on the third floor of a grand and elegant 19th century building near the beautiful Galata Tower. The street is relatively sophisticated (now gaining a reputation for top Turkish fashion design boutiques) for this bohemian area and the apartment is only 1 minute walk from Sishane metro station.
The apartment has a spacious entrance hall/dining area with a lovely ceramic tiled floor. The comfortable living room has two sofas and a bar table area with great panoramic views through the bay windows. There are three stylish bedrooms (two doubles, one twin) two of which also have fabulous views. The kitchen is large, chic and we...Read more

New Jerseythe perfect istanbul vacation rental. view - amazing!
Left on 05/02/2013 for a stay in April 2013
More spacious. light-filled and beautiful than the pictures indicate. The perfect apt for our first trip to Istanbul. We were 2 adults and 2 teens for a week. The location, on a super charming street steps away from Galata Tower could not be more ideal. The reps could not have been more prompt, helpful and delightful. The booking was exactly as promised. The view is beyond stunning - almost 180 degree water and landmark view. Many fun wonderful restaurants right nearby. We all had plenty of room in the apt to spread out too. The apt is renovated with great simple style. And the 3 flights of stairs is a great way to work off all the delicious Turkish food. Highly recommended.

Hong KongA Great apartment in the heart of Galata
Left on 04/16/2013 for a stay in February 2013
What a well appointed & cosy apartment this is. Pasha Place makes us fell at home. We visited Istanbul in February this year, we were a family of 6 adults & 2 kids but there was never a time where we feel crowded or confined at Pasha Place.
We love the high ceiling, airy & spacious apartment. The kitchen is well equipped with state of the art appliances. Everything works. There are days when we don't feel like leaving our bedroom coz the bed are sooo comfy. The serenity of the neighbourhood contributes to the homely and cosiness of the apartment.
The location is superb - within a stone throw from Galata Tower, lots of little cafe, butcher, groceries store nearby. We like that there's a buzz in the neighbourhood.
Tarkan and his team are very helpful from the get go - answered all our queries in good speed and very friendly. Their hospitality is very welcoming. Check-in & Check-out is swift!
The only setback is that the apartment is on the 3rd floor with no elevator. No issue for young travellers, but possibly a challenge for some elderly folks. Our mom came along on the trip, she is 65yrs old, but fotunately she is robust and managed the stairs with no problem.
We enjoyed coming back to Pasha each day & look forward to family meals at the dining table. Lots of laughter & swapping funny stories / happenings of the day. We left Pasha place with lots of great memories.
Thanks much to Tarkan and Julia who made our stay at Pasha a memorable one! We will certainly come back for more!

Left on 04/03/2013 for a stay in March 2013
Like all the previous reviews, the apartment was excellent in every way. It was a superb location, it feels like you are living in Istanbul, rather than just being tourists. Gelata is a trendy area, remember to turn left out of the apartment away from the Gelata tower for less touristy places to eat and shop!
The views were excellent, the whole of Istanbul at breakfast each day!
It was good at the end of a days sightseeing to return to such a bright and comfortable apartment, before setting off again to explore Istanbul at night.
We would thoroughly recommend, we were a family of 4, with a 21 and 19 year old sons , and there was enough space for all.
The owners organise a driver to pick you up from the airport and on arrival we were shown around the facilities and given keys etc. -

Spent a few days in this very nice apartment in Beyoglu area of Istanbul. Apartment was great. Comfortable beds, nice kitchen, great view of Bosphorus. Seconds away from Galata tower. Lots of little grocery stores. Nice restaurants. Few minutes to large pedestrian street of Ishtiklal with lots of shopping. Easy walk to old town sites over Galata bridge (20 -30 minutes) - never used public transport. Enjoyed the "Artisan Walk" with Duygu. Saw many older craftsmen who will soon disappear as no one seems interested in continuing doing these crafts by hand. Duygu also took us a fascinating hidden litle restaurant called Datli Maya. It was very unusual - a tiny little place where they have a few tables upstairs, serving very original Turkish cuisine. Definitely worth walking to.
Tarkan and Julia were most helpful in aiding us retrieve our lost luggage. I recommend this apartment 100 %!!
Must be able to climb stairs as the apartment is 60 steps up from street snd Beyoglu is somewhat hilly. -

Left on 03/20/2013 for a stay in January 2013
We stayed at the Pasha apartment for four days with two kids. With three bedrooms, two of which with a clear view of Bosphorus, Old City and Golden Horn, it was more like a fully-furnished home than a hotel in the heart of Galata. The kitchen was fully equipped with modern appliances and there are very close markets around. The building has a historical character with high ceilings but the apartment itself has 4/5 star hotel decoration. Its location nearby Galata Tower is a short walking distance to Sishane Metro station, Pera region with local asmali Mescit bars and restaurants, and Beyoglu and Istiklal Street. In short, we feel lucky to be a tourist for four days in our hometown Istanbul where locals usually do not get a full taste of Galata life.

Left on 02/21/2013 for a stay in February 2013
I stayed for a week at Pasha!place in early Feb 2013 and I was incredibly pleased with this gorgeous apartment. It is spacious and easily big enough for 6 comfortably. There were 2 of us and we were on our honeymoon.
It's obvious that a lot of care has that has gone into making it traditional in style but with all the convenience of a modern home such as modern kitchen and bathroom, TV and cable box as well as very comfy sofas and beds.
The apartment itself has stunning high ceilings and is full of character - the views are absolutely incredible. I loved having my coffee and breakfast every morning watching the boats come and go on the Bosphorus.
The people we met from the company were polite, friendly and very helpful to us, they put us at ease straight away and it really felt like a home from home.
We will definitely be visiting again and I couldn't recommend this more highly; the location, the views and the apartment are just wow, wow and wow! -

I have recently stayed here for a week, and wished I could have stayed for longer! The apartment is situated in a perfect location right next to the Galata Tower, and close to all local amenities. The apartment itself is spacious, light and extremely comfortable. What made this apartment different are the 'special touches' around, such as guide books, scrabble, lots of kitchen equipment and lovely decorative pieces. I would highly recommend this apartment (and have done so already), and would love to stay here again - for longer!

This was our first visit to Istanbul and the apartments were everything we needed. Plenty of space for the 4 of us, views over the sea, located by Galata Tower in the old part of town. We really couldn't have asked for anything more. Good size rooms, clean and relaxing, all the necessary utensils were available.
It was relaxing to spend time with good friends in a great apartment.
Highly recommended for a November short break -

Had a perfectly delightful stay at Pasha Place in Istanbul. Our apartment met all of our needs and the owners were extremely helpful in answering all of our questions prior to our arrival and following through on everything that was discussed. They also arranged two 4 hour walking tours. One day we walked and learned about the history, architecture, and people of Istanbul and another another day we did a foodie tour. Both of the tours added immensely to the enjoyment of our trip and we learned so much about the city, people, and food that we would never have discovered through a guide book. We highly recommend Pasha Place and Necla, our wonderful guide. Necla even tailored her foodie tour to accommodate our allergy to gluten!

How lovely to come home to Pasha Place each day. Light bright and breezy after the hustle and bustle or heat of the day. Tastefully furnished, gorgeous Bosphoros views and so well located. It is the little details that make you feel right at home: umberellas, sweet little night lights, guide books, a bag for the market, good quality linen and towels. You'll be woken each morning by the sound of many mosques - unescapable in Istanbul, but lulled back to sleep by the seagulls. The meet and greet at the airport and the apartment faultless and knowing we had someone to call for any problem (not that there were any) comforting. Istanbul!Place sets the standard.

A really nice apartment with an great view over the water on a quiet street. 5 minutes walk to the Galata Tower and to pubs and restaurants. 15 minutes walk to the tram and with a few stations to the Grand Bazar. 1 station to the spice market and to the boats over to the east side of Istanbul.
The apartment is on a hill and on the 3rd floor without elavator so not recomended to people that has trouble walking. -

We enjoyed very, very much the apartment that we rented from Tarkan and Julia. It is a beautifully restored and tastefully furnished place two minutes walk from the Galata Tower and five minutes walk from Istiklal with all the shops and restaurants. The apartment was very clean and well supplied and totally prepared for us. We were met by a helpful and friendly driver at the airport and welcomed to the apartment by knowledgeable and also very nice Monica who gave us a tour of the place. She explained everything we needed to know about the apartment (the usual details, like garbage disposal and grocery store locations). We came to Istanbul for my husband's scientific meeting. It was our first time in Istanbul (and in Turkey too). having this apartment at our disposal made all the difference. We had a fantastic time and hope very much to return again to Istanbul and to this particular apartment. Thank you very much!

East Coast, USATerrific location, comfortable accommodations, sensational views
Left on 05/14/2012 for a stay in May 2012
We stayed for 8 nights in early May 2012. This is a great place to stay if you're visiting Istanbul. Here are some particulars:
(1) Great location! Apartment is steps from Galata Kulesi. This means it is an easy walk or tram ride to places such as Istiklal Caddesi, Taksim Square, Spice Market, Haghia Sophia, and Bosporous cruise pier.
(2) Great views! Looking out the windows you can see Bosporous to the left, Golden Horn to the right, glimpse of Sea of Marmara straight ahead. Topkapi Palace, Haghia Sophia, and the Blue Mosque are visible too.
(3) There are many places to eat and buy groceries / supplies near the apartment.
(4) There is a washer but no dryer. You'll have to use the drying rack (stored in the master bedroom closet). The washer is small; for two adults and two kids we found that it was large enough to do two days worth of clothes. I doubt you could fit in three days worth. The washer takes about 40 minutes. Drying takes upwards of 1 day. Don't bother bringing laundry detergent as the owners already have a supply on hand.
(5) The toilet and shower are separate. The room with the toilet has a raised floor. Can't tell you how many times I stubbed my toe on rise between the hallway and bathroom floor. The shower is very nice. Water pressure is more than adequate. Hot water heater is one of those on-demand types (so no problems there).
(5) Apartment has an iron and ironing board. If you've stayed in hotels where they have crappy irons don't worry: this iron was very nice.
(6) There is a TV and the channel selection has more than just local channels. But we didn't turn on the TV very much. Too much to do in Istanbul!
(7) The bedsheets and towels were extremely nice and clean. The beds were firm and comfortable. Absolutely no complaints here.
(8) The owners are very nice. We had a problem with our flight reservation and the owners helped us with making phone calls back to the USa to straighten things out. You could not ask for better management.Response from Julia and Tarkan - 05/31/2012

If you intend to stay in Istanbul...and you are looking for something special...vote for Pasha Place! It is charming (luxury appartment is not the right word...is is even better...it is charming!). The location is on the montain 2 minutes away from the meeting point Galata Tower with a stunning view on the Bosporus with some mosques. And this not only out of the living room window but also from 2 bedrooms! And it is absolutely quiet...during the night you only can hear that the Muezin called the prayer. The contact to the owner was very personell and nice and also Monica, the lady who was in charge of us in Istanbul...was very friendly with good recommendations. You have enough space over there with a modern and clear furnishing with some stylish decorations. Is is made for feel well and confortable. In one word: a good choice!

Left on 04/29/2012 for a stay in March 2012
We know from experience, the advantages of renting an apartment vs separate hotel rooms when we travel. For this trip it was even more important since we would be a family of six. Searching "luxury apartments" in Istanbul took me quickly to Julia and Tarkan and it was easy to see from the reviews that my search was over. The Trip advisor reviews were outstanding, as is ours!!!
Julia and Tarkan deserve every good word they have received by other visitors. They responded over and over to my inquiries concerning many aspects of our trip that had nothing to do with our apartment. Our family of six would gather from British Columbia and Newfoundland , Canada and New Hampshire. We were going to a country very far from our homes and the books I poured over could not replace some first hand accounts. Julia and Tarkan shared their knowledge and experience and it made all the difference in the world to our trip overall - for the better, of course!
All previous authors site the high marks of Pasha!Place:
-Location is unbeatable along with the views of Bosporus, and notable sites of the old City.
-Apartment is spacious and gave six people ample wiggle room and every amenity needed.
-Neighborhood is a mix of the truly new and chic and the old and tired. In the course of the two weeks we were there, construction and renovation was transforming the area into a better place by the day. Yes, the common stairway is smelly and dusty due to the feral cats and construction, but open the door to Pasha!Place and forget it.
Staying in their wonderful apartment, meant we could simply pack a quick bag when we went to Cappadocia for three nights. Taking their recommendation to stay at Gamirasu, was the start to giving me the resources to make our trip successful in every aspect. Gamirasu led to Euphrates Travel and three fabulous tour guides. And then there is personal shopper to thank Julia for!
Tesekkur, Tarkan and Julia. We hope to return soon!!!

BeijingElegant, light-filled apartment in an excellent location
Left on 02/08/2012 for a stay in January 2012
Our 11 day stay in Pasha place in January 2012 enhanced our first visit to Istanbul immeasurably - particularly as we were traveling with a toddler so spent much more time at 'home' than we would normally do as tourists. This is a beautifully restored and well appointed apartment, simply yet elegantly decorated. Even in the depths of winter and during a week of unusually severe snowstorms, the apartment was full of natural light and beautifully cosy (efficient, adjustable central heating). The apartment was serene and very quiet both day and night.
As others have mentioned, the views from the living area and main two bedrooms were stunning - we never tired of gazing out over the aya Sofia, Blue Mosque and Topkapi palace lit up at night, sunrise over the Bosphorus, the comings and goings of the neighbourhood below...
The location was great - very easy to access all major sights, even with a stroller, and a stone's throw from lots of great restaurants and the Istiklal Caddesi. This is an up and coming neighbourhood, so there are some grimy areas, but this affords a wonderful opportunity to appreciate the area's past, present and future potential. All are equally fascinating!
We use vacation rentals frequently and the service provided by Tarkan and Julia was the best we have encountered - highly professional with a welcome personal touch.
Liked best: wonderful natural light, lovely renovation and marvellous views
Liked least: smell from stray cats in the stairwell (but don't let that put you off!) -

I can't say enough good things about our experience at Pasha!Place! From first contact with Julia and Tarkan my questions and concerns were promptly addressed and all transactions were timely and professional. Our apartment was absolutely beautiful and the views incredible! It was so clean, well stocked with everything you could need and Monika ensured that we were escorted to the door by sending someone to meet us at Galata Tower so we wouldn't get lost, then arranged our taxi for a 2:30am pick up on departure. The location is ideal for walking to many shops, restaurants and catching the trolley around the corner, even Taksim Square is within close walking distance. I will surely be staying at istanbul!place for any future trips to Turkey and am fully confident that all of the apartments are as equally well kept and clean. I highly recommend these accommodations. Thank you to Julia, Tarkan and Monika for making our visit to Istanbul so comfortable and convenient!

We spent the Christmas week in Pasha!Place. The apartment worked perfectly for our family of 4 - including two teenage kids. The pluses include plenty of space with three bedrooms, great views of Sultanahment and Bosphorous (the website photos do not do justice to the views), great location for walking access to ferries, local markets, shopping, and restaurants. The apartment itself is comfortable and well equipped. The dining area is an interior room and dark. We got around this by simply having our meals at a small table in the living room providing a view of the city. The service from the management was professional both prior to the trip and while we were in Istanbul. We are happy to recommend the apartment.

We had a great time in Istanbul and living at Pasha made our experience even better!
We booked & paid with ease over the internet and were greeted by Istanbul!Place staff to give us the rundown on the apartment and the local area upon arrival. Our apartment was secure, stylish, clean and had a great view with lots of natural sunlight.
At times we were happier to stay in, to enjoy our fantastic view over the Golden Horn and enjoy the comfort our rental with our kids (and a bottle of wine of course!).
We all had plenty of space to move around and found the apartment fully equipped. The location was also excellent, close to public transport and most of the 'must see' sights. We were also in the best spot for shopping and close to the best area for dining out.
We highly recommend Pasha as the place to stay when in Istanbul... -

Left on 10/04/2011 for a stay in June 2011
Our apartment in Istanbul was convenient, comfortable, and well-situated. Great, large, windows assured beautiful views of the water and the city, as well as a wonderful breeze. We understand that window screens are coming, which will keep insects from joining the party! The apartment has a large, usable, reasonably well-equipped kitchen and everything works.
We had assumed that our preference would be to rent across the water, in the Sultanahmet area, but found this spot near the Galata Tower to be preferable, assuming you are comfortable getting started on foot every day. Restaurants, small food shops, and grocery stores are close at hand. Istanbul is booming and there is a fair amount of construction going on in the vicinity, which can create some noise but it is nothing like the noise in the old town and it was a relaxing relief, actually, to be based somewhat at a remove from the swarming crowds across the water. -

The apartment is renovated- it's elegant, clean, spacious with all the essentials.
We were 5 adults and found the apartment very spacious .Very comfortable beds.Even though the weather was very hot when we were there the apartment being on the 3 rd floor had plenty of air flow and with the electric fans was very comfortable to be in.The views are amazing it's worth walking up those 3 flights of stairs just for the view, day or night there was always something happening.Restaurants, grocery store ,supermarket, chic boutiques are at your doorstep. If you are visiting this amazing city then a stay at Pasha!Place is a must. -

Left on 06/21/2011 for a stay in June 2011
This beautiful apartment with stunning views and great accommodation was the basis for a fantastic week in Istanbul. Located near the prominent Galata Tower (making navigation easy) and in the midst of all sorts of small, interesting enterprises (food/fashion/musical).
The immediate area is currently being transformed with major repaving throughout the area.
The decoration is tasteful, beds sizable and comfy, and the views over the water and across to Sultan ahmed add a wonderful sense of place and luxury.
Also there is a mixture of spaces to enjoy - the kitchen, meals area and loungeroom gave plenty of space to the four of us to spread out.
We strongly recommend this to all reasonably fit people who can cope with 3 floors of stairs along with surrounding steep walks required to access the area coming from the Galata Bridge.
We all look forward to returning to Istanbul to enjoy more of this vibrant city and the gracious people we encountered.Response from Julia and Tarkan - 05/31/2012

This was our very first visit to Istanbul and this apartment was perfect for our group of 5 friends. We loved the clean style and location of the apartment, just steps from the Galata tower on a safe street. The metro and tram are just a short walk away. There were beautiful views of the water and of Old Town from the windows of the apartment...Awesome! The apartment owner was very helpful in communications prior to the visit and fixed a small problem in the apartment within 24 hours of our reporting it to him. The only thing that kept me from giving it 5 stars was that there is only one shower and one toilet, which is less convenient. But overall, it was an outstanding experience. We would definitely stay here again.

Pasha!Place was a perfect location for our week-long stay in Istanbul. We were visiting our son, who was studying abroad at Koc University. Pasha!Place's proximity to mass transit, the New City and the Old City made it the perfect jumping off site for everything we wanted to do. Tarkan and Julia helped ensure everything was arranged for us. The airport shuttle service was well done. While the entry way and stairs up to the apartment could have been cleaner, the apartment itself was immaculate. Thanks for the wonderful accommodations.

It has been a very positive experience from beginning to end. Already the communication with Julia and Tarkan was very friendly and easy. Upon our (very late night arrival) someone waited for us in the apartment so there was no hassle getting the key.
Pasha Place is wonderful, furnished with a lot of taste and attention to detail. Everything functioned fully, was very clean and we felt very much at home. The location is splendid, we were in the historic center, just two minutes from the Galata Tower and could reach a lot of our destinations by foot or by taking public transportation. And the view over the Bosporus is unbeatable. If back in Istanbul I would definitely try to stay here or in one of the other apartments. -

Left on 12/16/2010 for a stay in November 2010
Four of us stayed in this fantastic and spacious 3 bedroom apartment earlier this year. We were met and shown around the apartment by the owners' relatives who were extremely friendly and helpful. The apartment itself is very light, airy with large rooms and high ceilings. There is a lot of attention to detail in the design of the interior, with a particularly nice kitchen, bathrooms (although small very nicely done, with a fantastic rain shower), lovely wooden floors and a particularly spacious master bedroom.
We were all extremely happy with our choice, and thought that the photos online (which are very nice) didn't do it justice. We particularly enjoyed our fresh coffee every morning, sitting on breakfast stools with fantastic views over the Bosporus.
I can't recommend this apartment enough. Great value for money too. -

Doha, QatarLovely chic apartment in vibrant section of Istanbul

Our family of five (two parents, three children ages 6, 9, 11) had a lovely stay at the Pasha!Place apartment. We found the apartment to be even nicer than advertised and shown in the pictures on the web site. Tarkan and Julia (the landlords) were very helpful prior to arrival and during our trip. Everything went very smoothly and just as promised.
The apartment is located right at Galata tower and has great views of the Bosphorus. Comfy beds, big bright rooms, tall ceilings and sunlight throughout.
The one note of warning that I would have with this location is that it is halfway up (or halfway down) a large hill. If you have mobility problems this apartment is probably not a great choice. If you are comfortable climbing stairs and hills, though, it's a lovely place to stay. -

Pasha!place is a lovely modern apartment near Galata Tower in istanbul. The location is excellent to discover both the old town and the modern part of istanbul. From the window you have a clear view on Topkapi Palace and Blue Mosque. Although the city clearly has much entertainment to offer, you also will love to spend time in you temporary home.

A huge big thank you for a wonderful stay in Istanbul. We went for our honeymoon a couple of weeks ago and loved every bit of our stay in pasha!place. The apartment was beautiful and the location was spot on. We had heaps to do and see right on our doorstep. Even though we were holidaying during Ramazan we were surprised to find that there were really no limitations to what you could see and do and coming from Dubai that was just fantastic!
Every part of our holiday from the booking process to the welcome to checking out was made really easy.
We hated having to leave the apartment and are definitely looking forward to returning sometime soon.
Thank you so much for a fantastic time!! -

OregonA bright, lovely apartment in a great location!
Left on 07/20/2010 for a stay in July 2010
We loved this place. It was easy to get around Istanbul from this location. The street was very quiet. Lots of cool shops, cafes and restaurants in the area and a grocery store at the corner. The apartment was clean and bright with a great view of the Old City. The apartment was newly remodeled and a great modern/traditional mix. I would happily stay here any time I return to Istanbul. Tarkin was very helpful with information before we arrived. It is perfect for a family or group of friends.

We were traveling to Istanbul for the first time with our sons(14 & 22) . Our interaction with Tarkan & Julia began from the booking stage- and it was the most pleasant experience. They offered all the help we required , answered every mail promptly and went out of their way to accommodate our various requests . We booked our airport transfers as well through them and were met at the airport and driven to the apartment. We were met by a member of the family who explained everything to us and also gave us his local number so we could call if we needed anything. The location of the apartment is amazing- it is within walking distance of Galata tower which is surrounded by lovely restaurants. Istiklal Caddesi the main street full of restaurants and shops is 5 minutes away. The metro and tram stations are also just 5 minutes walking distance. The apartment which is on the third floor (no lift) is sunny and beautiful and has a subtle aesthetic with lovely antique wooden floors . The view from the living room and bedroom windows is breathtaking- you face the the sea and all the main sights(Topkapi, Blue Mosque). The apartment has all the amenities you need and there are 2/3 grocery stores very close by. It is clean with fresh laundry- hot running water , cable tv etc. Thank you for a lovely holiday !!

We had a wonderful time in this apartment, which has great views of the Topkapi Palace, Hagia Sofia and Blue Mosque across the Bosphorous. The apartment is simply but elegantly furnished and is extremely well located, with easy access to the shops of Istiklal Caddesi as well as to the tram for trips further afield; Sultanahmet is within easy walking distance.

back from a wonderful family holiday in istanbul, i'm really happy to write about Pasha!Place because i'm sure one of the reasons for the great success of this holiday was pasha!place itself!! it all begun with a wonderfully helpful and kind correspondence with owners Tarkan and Julia, who very patiently led me through various -- many!!! -- hesitations about which flat to rent, how long for, what to do, etc., etc... Lots of questions and querries, all of which were very patiently and fully addressed. Then, when we arrived to pasha!place itself we loved it! it's wonderfully located, beautifully and sensibly decorated and all in all proved to be the best possible place to spend our four days in istanbul in. The one, single caveat i would like to add, in all honesty, is that whoever takes it should take into account that the street on which it is is undergoing extensive works and so is very inconvenient to walk on and the building, although probably once very elegant is now very run down on the outside, as well as stairwell, etc. Once you are aware of this, you shuoldn't be too shocked upon arrival -- and then, getting into the flat is just great. and being in it, even better... so well-worth the exterior downsides!!!

It's lovely to hear that you enjoyed pasha!place so much.
The street below has been re-cobbled now and is very comfortable to wander along, with designer boutiques, cafes and restaurants thriving.
Time to come back to see the difference!

LondonA classy, stylish place to stay, at the centre of the action
Left on 05/29/2010 for a stay in May 2010
We loved pasha!place. It's spotlessly clean and beautifully done up, with everything you could need, including comfy beds, great shower and incredible views. It's also perfectly placed for all the historic sites south of the Golden Horn and the great bars, restaurants and nightlife of Beyoglu and Taksim square. Also a great service from Julia and Tarkan at istanbul!place. Only downside is that it is a bit hard to find at first, and taxi drivers are no help. We will definitely be back and would recommend it to anyone.

My wife and I stayed there with our two boys (ages 8 and 10) for three days and really enjoyed ourselves. The apartment is extremely comfortable and the views are incredible. The Galata neighborhood is very friendly and we enjoyed a few dinners and drinks at the base of the Galata Tower. The road in front of the apartment was under construction while we were there, which had us concerned when we arrived, but once we made it up the stairs to the apartment, all is perfect.

We stayed at the apartment for 3 nights and it was a beautiful apartment with a beautiful view of the water. The Galata Tower area was really fun in general with a main street lined with many shops and restaurants. The apartment is newly renovated so it is quite clean and comfortable. It has a full kitchen and even a washing machine. I will definitely stay there again when I return to Istanbul!

We spent a wonderful week in Instanbul staying at pasha!place. The apartment is perfectly situated next to Galata Tower, restaurants and shopping areas and in walking distance to Galata bridge. The apartment is beautifully renovated and furnished with much taste. And there is an absolutely fantastic view out of the livingroom window across the water to the Topkapi, Hagia Sophia and Blue Mosque!

Leicestershire, UKPasha is a stylish and elegant appartment with great views
Left on 05/06/2010 for a stay in April 2010
The appartment is newly converted and I think we were only the second people to stay there. So everything was rather sparkly and new. They have done an excellent job with the conversion the whole place is fresh and light with comfortable modern furnishings. The place is very well equiped with a big kitchen. There were a couple of extra bits that would have been handy but these are just teething things. Couple of things that weren't an issue for us but others might be concerned about, 1) there are 2 bathrooms but between them there is only 1 toilet and 1 (very, very nice) shower 2) its on the third floor, no lift, and the ceilings are high.
The views are very good, across the Golden Horn to the old town. You can see the palace, blue mosque and Aya Sofia. I was worried that the call to prayer might be noisy but hardly noticed it there.
The appartment is very close to the Galata tower and a short uphill walk to the main shopping street and restarant area (although there are plenty of others closer). There is a supermarket close by and just down a street from the tower is Galata Konak Patisserie, a good place for breakfast (stay downstairs for the pastries). Just across and up the hill from there is a very good little coffee house/roaster whose name I can't remember.
Julia/Tarkan were really good to deal with, responsive and dependable.
A lovely, well presented, place in an upcoming area.
