Fully furnished, serviced apartment with modern amenities and state of the art technology, in the heart of Istanbul, just a few steps from the Galata Tower. The apartment combines modern elements with historical character. It is one of the four apartments in a restored historical building that has been awarded a LEED silver certificate by the US Green Building Council for its environmentally responsible features.
The 59 square meter apartment has bedroom/living area, second room, separate kitchen and bathroom. Sleeps three. The apartment is located on the second floor of the building (no elevator but stairs are not steep).

Die Baylo Suites sind eine herrliche alternative zum Hotel. Modern und gemütlich eingerichtet, kleines aber schönes Bad, tolle ausstattung und über eine steile Marmor-Wendeltreppe (kein Fahrstuhl) erreicht man eine Super Dachterrasse mit Blick auf den Bosporus und die Dächer Istanbuls. Das Baylo Team Zeynep und Diana sind immer hilfsbereit, schon im Vorfeld, geben Tipps, arrangieren den Flughafentransfer, reservieren Restaurants uvm.. Emailverkehr vorab udn Bezahlung alles schnell und unkompliziert abgewickelt. Das beste an den Baylo Suites ist die Lage: Nur die Straße 1 Minute hoch und man ist beim Galata Turm und damit mitten im Leben Istanbuls. Bars, Cafés, Restaurants, kleine Läden, Sesamkringel-Stände - alle gleich da. Auch lassen sich zu Fuß Galata Brücke, Tünnel, Metro, Bus, Karaköy Ufer etc. erreichen. Der Nachteil von "Mitten im Leben" und daher kleiner abzug bei den Sternen - die Suites sind etwas hellhörig, d.h. man hört jeden Straßenlärm, jedes Gespräch auf der Straße oder auch morgens die Schule direkt gegenüber. Wir hatten die Suite 1st Floor - mag sein, dass es im dritten oder vierten Stock etwas besser ist. Trotzdem empfehlenswert, denn man besucht Istanbul ja nicht, um zu schlafen!

My husband and I and my adult son stayed here in late august.It is a beautifully renovated facility. People who run it, Zeynap and her mother, are extremely helpful and accomodating. We will definitley return.

The apartment was exactly as shown in the pictures. We were met by Zeynep (owner/manager) who provided us with directions, restaurant suggestions and enough supplies in the kitchen to get us through a few days. She and Esra, her assistant, were always available (in person or by phone) for assistance. We found the location to be perfect for getting around Istanbul albeit on a hill with many steps up and down. We managed well by hiking down to the Galata bridge and when returning taking the "tunel" to the top and then hiking down to the apartment. Many restaurants and ease of reaching the many sights are readily available. Staying in an apartment for a week is definitely the way to enjoy a city such as Istanbul. By the way, we are 80 + years with hip replacements, etc. and we managed the steps.
