Experience the history in Zeyrek at our cozy "Kismet Apartments". Although small, it can comfortably accommodate up to 6 people. Completely renewed with stylish new furniture. Centrally located in a residential quiet area next to "Kadinlar Pazari".

THE SPACE

Our "Kismet Apartments" are situated in Zeyrek, Unesco World Heritage site of Old City Istanbul, consists of architecture from Byzantine medieval ages dated back to 12th century. Our studio apartment can comfortably accommodate up to 6 people. The double bed (140x190) sleeping area is separated from the kitchen and living room area with a door and separated from a bunk bed with black out curtains. There is a three door wardrobe in this area. The living room area has a full kitchen with a dishwasher, 2 electrical burners, microwave and full size refrigerator together with all kitchen utensils. There is a small table and a sofa bed pulled out to be a double bed (130x190). The bathroom has a glass-enclosed shower, washing machine and is stocked with traditional white Turkish towels, toiletries and a hair dryer.

There is no elevator in the building.

OVERVIEW:

Although you are in a quiet residential area, "Kadinlar Pazari" full of restaurants, cafes and authentic meat and spice market is only one block away. "At Pazari Meydani" Square only a few blocks away has small shops and cute coffee shops. History is just at your footsteps, walk to Zeyrekhane in literally 2 minutes to experience a great historic setting, breath-taking historic views and delicious traditional food for a breakfast or lunch. It is located in a part of what was once the Pantokrator Monastery, established by the Byzantine Emperor John II Komnenos and his queen in 1118. After the conquest of Istanbul, Zeyrekhane was converted into a Mosque and Madrasa. Do not miss the previously called Pontokrator Church now Molla Zeyrek Camii constructed as the center of the monastery!

We are just located in this historical area, that is blended with the current housing, street texture and lives of local people. Be ready to see anonymous graves next to the houses, ruins of fountains, and hammams strolling through the neighborhood.

World renowned Grand Bazaar, Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace are all in about 20-25 minutes walking distance.

Taksim Square and Istiklal Street famous for a long pedestrian walking area full of shops and restaurants and night life is 10 minutes by taxi or bus.

GETTING AROUND:

Kismet Apartments is 17 km away from IST Ataturk Airport. It is fairly easy to come to Kismet Apartments by public transport, details of directions will be provided upon request after confirmation of the booking.

Bus stop is 300 meters away and you can reach to Sishane metro stop after two stops-5 minutes and to Taksim 10 minutes. You can take a taxi to both Taksim and to Eminonu or Sultanahmet it only takes around 10 minutes depending on the traffic. Walking is the best option to go to Sultanahmet. Grand Bazaar Beyazit Gate is 20 minutes on foot.

OTHER THINGS TO NOTE:

Stylish contemporary decor highlighted with bright Turkish rugs and throw pillows, a wall-mounted LCD television with cable reception, free wireless internet and a cordless phone makes this flat a joy to stay in.
