The apartment is situated in the center of Downtown at Taksim, within a walking distance to Beyoglu, Istiklal str, Galata tower and Golden Horn. Very close by metro, bus or tram to Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace and the Grand Bazaar. In 30 m walking distance you have the metro station. In 8 min. walking distance you will be at the Bosphorus (Dolmabahce).Though very central, the district is not overwhelmed by tourists and shelters all sorts of little shops and cafes. The apartment is situated in the center of Downtown at Taksim/Osmanbey, within a walking distance to Beyoglu, Istiklal street, Galata tower and Golden Horn. Very close by metro, bus or tram to Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace and the Grand Bazaar. In 30 meters walking distance you have the metro station. After one station you are in Kabatas the harbour for the ferryboats to the Asian side (Kadiköy) and Prince Islands. In 8 min. walking distance you will be at the Bosphorus (Dolmabahce).
Next to the house you have the districts from Nisantasi/Tesvikiye, the Fashion and Design center of Istanbul for shopping and you will find there also many authentic Turkish and international cafes & restaurants.
The district of the flat is a historical area of Istanbul. The habitants of this place, Armenians, Greeks and Jews left behind buildings, schools, churches and synagogue with old architecture in this area. Today still many Armenians are leaving here and presenting the ottoman and Armenian kitchen in a lot of small shops and restaurants around our flat. In 3 min. walking distance to the flat you have the Democracy Park, which is also a playground for children.
On Saturdays, next to the flat, you can buy vegetables, fruits etc. at the ecological outdoor market, which is the biggest one in Turkey.
in Beyoglu you have the famous Cicek Pasaji (Cite de Pera), an open fish and vegetable Market with many restaurants, bars. Behind the ancient Galatasaray school is Cukurcuma, with its diverse antique shops, cosy cafes and the ancient Galatasaray Hamami (Turkish Bath).The famous Istiklal street offers art galleries, restaurants, cafes, bookshops, concert halls, sightseeing and the possibility to see the Turkish everyday life.

The flat is well located in a residential area , with good transport links. There are lots of great local shops- bakeries and delis so eating in was a treat.The owners were helpful prior to and during our stay.Paying for the flat, travelling there and accessing the flat all went smoothly. The flat is nicely decorated , maintained and well equipped. The flat is on the top floor of a block of four - so additional fitness benefits from our time Istanbul

We were 4 friends who came from Germany to Istanbul for visiting this city. Because we knew that this city tour would be energy-sapping, we booked this welcoming and spacious apartment.
Each day we start with a tasty breakfast by sitting on the balkony, eating turkish bread and drinking turkish coffee.
Then we enjoyed the new impressions of Istanbul. Each day we drove by Taxi to Galata bridge, because the apartment isn't located much central. But taxi aren't eypensive (ca. 3€). It were great but exhausting days for us in this big city. So we were glad to be at home. There is a spacious kitchen and dining room with a comfortable living room for relaxing in the evenings.
So thank you for these incredible days in your apartment! We were excited and hope we could come back some day!
