BAY VIEW GRAND MARINA! Come and enjoy BVG's NEWEST contemporary residential resort community located on the quiet end of Ixpapa Beach. BVG Marina is brand new and features two resort style infinity swimming pools overlooking the beach, a separate children's pool, pool snack bar, kids play area, entertainment center with billiards and card tables, business meeting room and indoor movie theatre. Palapas are also available on the beach just a few steps from the swimming pools. There is a Business Office with Broadband Internet , Wireless Internet and computers for your use. While these are good to know what's in the property, I want you to k...now a little more about our place.

Dining Room/Living Room

Our luxury condo is located on the 15th floor in the South Tower and offers panoramic views of Ixtapa Beach and the Pacific from the Living Room, Dining Room, Kitchen and large deck. Our condo is tastefully decorated for your comfort and relaxation. Our dining room boasts an onyx table with 4 rattan chairs for those delicious meals you've prepared in our kitchen. Our living room has a large flat screen TV and DVD for your enjoyment. The sofa makes into a bed for any of our guests with children or for the extra adult(s) travelling with you.

Kitchen:

The kitchen has all the conveniences of making this your "home away from home" during your stay. It includes a gourmet cook's dream gas stove with 6 burners and oven, dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator/freezer, blender and coffee maker.

Bedroom:

The Kingsize bed we offer in the bedroom is dressed with a cozy fleece blanket and comforter on top of a mattress where you're sure to get a restful sleep. From the bedroom window, you will see the outstanding views of the mountains, golf course across the street, and marina to your left.

Bathroom:

Our bathroom has a huge shower with seat in it and Jack n Jill doors...1 door from the bedroom (like an ensuite) and 1 from the main living area.

Patio:

If you're anything like us, you will probably spend a lot of time on the patio. This is not only a very private patio, but the view is amazing, the weather outside is undeniably beautiful, and when you're in the company of a good friend, spouse or family member, it's always good enjoying their company with some appetizers or drink-in-hand while you're relaxing and enjoying your getaway.

While you're relaxing by the pool, you 'll want to take in one of those "amazing" Ixtapa sunsets during your stay here.

BVG Marina is located on the quiet end of Ixtapa Beach across the street from the Marina and the Marina Ixtapa Golf Course. Golf Digest rated this course as one of Mexico's best courses. The Marina offers charter fishing excursions and has some of Ixtapa's finest shops and restaurants. The Marina restaurants are open for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Zihuatanejo is just 7 miles from Ixtapa. Cabs and public transportation are available within a few steps of BVG Marina. If you decide to visit Zihuatanejo, you'll find this quaint fishing town has the old-fashioned charm of traditional Mexican culture and offers tourists lots of shops, boutiques, art galleries and fine dining.

The amount of activities in Ixtapa are close to being endless. There's so much to do. Take a walk along the golden beach and see whom you might meet, or what you might see. Take a walk into Ixtapa and check out the restaurants and merchants. Go to Senior Frogs for some fun after the sun and kick up your heels.

Whatever you enjoy doing, it's nice to come back "home" to our condo where you're in your own private space to get some "r & r" (rejuvination and relaxation) for your next day in Ixtapa.Read more

Additional Location Information

The Bay View Grand, Marina is right on the Playa de Palmar beach and very close to the marina in Ixtapa. There is the Marina Ixtapa Golf course just across the street from it and about 10 min walk to downtown Ixtapa.

  This was our second time to Ixtapa but only our first experience with not staying in an all inclusive. We were a bit apprehensive about not doing the all inclusive thing, but after spending 2 weeks in this condo at the BVG Marina, we both agreed that it was probably one of our best vacations ever. The unit itself is beautifully decorated and is equipped with everything you need right down to the blender for making those "frozen concoctions” after a day in the sun. We loved having our morning coffee on the balcony watching the sun come up and never tired of that amazing view of the beach and ocean from the 15th floor. The complex grounds are meticulously maintained and the staff were always very pleasant. The pools are quiet and relaxing and there were always plenty of pool chairs to be found at any given time. There are a ton of restaurants and shops within easy walking distance and the unique Mexican town of Zihuatanejo is just a short bus ride down the road. We love it all so much that we've already booked the condo for next year - this time for 3 weeks!
