Review #5592884 "Perfection!"
The perfect combination of a luxury retreat and a welcoming home! Burt's Barn is well appointed and immaculate with every amenity you could think of having. Well located and very private with a beautiful spacious deck, gracious hosts and just a lovely all around experience. Thank you, thank you Becky and Jayne. I can't wait to come back. -

A wonderfully located "barn" in a serene area within a 5 min. drive to Jackson. My husband, sister and I spent 3 nights here and felt very comfortable in the space. We liked the open concept and all the new amenities. The owners live next door and were friendly and helpful.

My sister, brother-in-law and I spent 3 wonderful days at the Burt Barn. The location is great - just a few minutes to the town of Jackson and yet close to Teton Village and the Grand Teton National Park. The barn is spacious, clean and very comfortable. It's set back from the main road so it is very quiet and peaceful. I especially enjoyed sitting out on the back deck, listening to the birds, and enjoying the serenity. Becky and Jayne were terrific hosts and I would stay there again in a heartbeat!

We love sharing our quiet, off the beaten path, guest house. We think our location is perfect, quiet but close to the town of Jackson, close to Teton VIllage and Grand Teton National Park. We look forward to meeting all of our guests!

The barn was the perfect getaway. Great location - tucked away but close to Jackson, Teton village and Gran teton National park. Easy access to bike trails. The barn itself is beautifully done, cozy, comfortable and immaculately clean. The owners were incredibly gracious and made us feel welcome as soon as we arrived. We can't wait to come back.

Southampton, EnglandA little haven of peace and tranquility!

e had a hectic schedule on our trip to the States and being able to relax and enjoy the peace and quiet and comfort of this wonderful Barn was just what we needed! We wish we could have stayed longer than 3 nights as the Tetons are just beautiful and the Barn is so ideally situated to explore and enjoy the local area. We recommend a trip up the mountain on the Tramway from Teton Village to breath in the cool mountain air and get a wonderful view of the valley and mountains. Also pay a visit to the Rodeo in Jackson hole - a magic experience, great fun for young and old alike! We also enjoyed spending time in the lovely Barn which is furnished with very amenity you could possibly need and we felt at home straight away. The only disappointment was not being able to meet the 2 owners who happened to be away however, we felt we knew them already from our correspondence and their kind, helpful advice when planning our trip. We thank you for letting us stay in your 'home from home'!

My family and I recently stayed four nights in this charming guest house. It was perfect. The owners made us feel so welcome and at home. They went out of their way to make sure we had a wonderful stay in Jackson. The house is beautifully decorated and furnished. The house is impecabbly clean and has everything you need to have a comfortable home away from home stay. The location was perfect- mere minutes to town and to the park. We can't wait to go back!

Winston Salem, NCEverything about the guest house was fantastic.
Left on 01/13/2011 for a stay in September 2010
We spent a week at the guest house this past September and October during the peak of the autumn colors. We arrived to find a vase of fresh cut flowers, chocolate, and bottle of wine. The week was unseasonably warm permitting exceptional excursions into Yellowstone and our hikes in and around the Tetons. Becky and Jayne were wonderful, suggesting different hikes and introducing us to the Laurance S. Rockefeller Preserve and Phelps Lake (a must visit only a few miles away). They even loaned us their bear spray (never needed it - the only bear we saw was in a tree being photographed by about two dozen people). Even though Jackson has a number of fine restaurants, we grilled or cooked most nights. The kitchen is exceptionally well-equipped and the entire experience at the guest house deserves five stars. Since it was warmer than usual we didn't have a fire in the fireplace, but we could only imagine how cozy it would have been after a day of skiing. Nights were so peaceful (no traffic sounds) with distant howling from a few coyotes and an occasional elk bugling. We've already decided the next time we come back to Jackson and the Tetons, we'll find out when the guest house is available and then and only then make airline reservations.
