I am so glad that i found Mead Brown Vacation Rentals. The condo was absolutely awesome. It was better in person than in pictures. Balcony with hot tub and views was unprecedented in my previous travels.
The staff was incredible with booking adventures and customer service second to none. I chose our charter boat online before we arrived and that was a mistake. There was a lot of diesel exhaust in the air in the cockpit, enough so that it made me sick and the seas were flat. I would avoid booking the "sailfish" out of Los Suenos unless diesel exhaust does not bother you. (this was my choice and mistake not Mead Brown)
With the exception of the "sailfish" charter boat it was a perfect vacation. I cannot recommend Mead Brown enough.
Location is perfect, right on the beach, and close to restaurant and shops. Sunsets were georgous from our balcony. The pool is beautiful and loved sunbathing on lounge chairs in the shallow areas, and also on our spacious deck, I loved it so much, that i am returning in 3 weeks and taking my son and daughter. -

The only negative thing I can say is we had no hot water for 2 full days and the dryer squeaked very loud! The condo is breath taking and so comfortable. The people were wonderful and the food was amazing! Pura Vida!!

As a frequent Costa Rica visitor, we have stayed at many Hotels and Condos throughout Costa Rica. Vista Las Palmas is by far the best condo/Hotel we have stayed at. The grounds are beautiful and the staff is the best. Excellent security and front desk service(Alicia) is great. Make sure to book your stay with Mead Brown Costa Rica Vacation Rentals. These guys live in Costa Rica and are very helpful. Yang is the best, corner unit with a great view and beautifully decorated. Not to mention the jacuzzi tub overlooking the beautiful beach and ocean of Jaco. 5 stars.

The accommodations were outstanding. The second you walk into the room you are taken aback by the lavish living quarters. The kitchen and living room opens up to a breathtaking view of the Pacific Ocean and Jaco Beach. We loved sitting out on the deck in the hot tub as the sun went down drinking a nice cold beer and watching the surfers below. I can't wait to go back!

Our family stayed for 8 glorious nights at Vista Las Palmas in Jaco. The resort was beautiful, the staff was friendly and everything was well maintained.We felt very safe letting our kids roam around the property with the guard gated entrance. I would definitely recommend the beachfront condo!! 5 stars!!!

The condo was everything I thought it would be based on the pictures I saw. Great views of the coast and Jaco, close to everything, walking distance to many great restaurants. If I had any complaints it would be the kitchen wares and glassware needs to be better equipped - no martini glasses, to name just one. The maids did a pretty good job cleaning up everyday, except it would have been nice to have the floors lightly mopped up midweek or so the kitchen area gets a bit sticky after a while. But, considering the overall experience my complaints were minimal.

I recently visited Jaco with a few friends and we rented the 'Yang' suite at Vista Las Palmas and had a fantastic time! The place is basically brand new and all amenities are accounted for. Beautiful views, plenty of space and a simply amazing terrace. I think this could be the nicest unit to stay in in the entire town!
For 4 guys, there were three bedrooms (one on the couch) and 3.5 baths. Needless to say, no one was getting in each other's way at any point. The staff even stocked our fridge with a number of items we requested ahead of time (food/beer/etc). We now know that there is a supermarket/liquor store literally steps away from the property so we can cover this ourselves next time.
Along with coordinating our rides to/from the airport and having an on-site staff memeber available if we needed, there were no details overlooked.
Everything is well within walking distance and there really isn't even a need for taxis most of the time. The beach is right off of the property and there are excellent local retaurants everywhere.
Upon leaving, I noticed some discrepancy with our final 'tab' but Michael Brown was quick to make the adjustments and issue the necessary credits. The entire time (before, throughout and even after the visit), the whole staff was extremely responsive to e-mails/phone calls and there was never a situation in which we felt out of the loop. I find this to be a major plus in any unfamiliar situation when you need a quick answer.
I will gladly recommend this property or any Mead Brown unit to anyone looking for an amazing place to stay in Jaco. I look forward to renting out both sides (Yin/Yang) next year when we return.
