The Garden View units at Bahia Encantada offer our guest with 2 options for bedding depending on your travel needs. Our 3 bedroom condos can accommodate up to 6 people and even 1 extra person for $10 additional per night.

Given a strong upsell by the management company "Costa Rica Dreamakers" the property was less than described or pictured in the website. Maintenance is an issue with burned out lights in stairways, broken elevator, unpainted and cracked stucco outside with well worn furniture inside the condo. Towels were old and torn. Tile flooring was excessively dirty upon arrival. Overall less than adequate given the $275 a night price for a midweek Monday thru Thursday rate (higher on weekends). No one checked on our satisfaction during the stay nor changed sheets as promised during the five day stay. Last insult was to charge $60 for (3) soiled towels and $72 for "supposedly stolen set of queen bedsheets and $50 for an extra 10 year old child to stay with family.

Staff was very friendly. The property was very modern, stylish and sophisticated for that area of town. Felt very safe with the guard house security and pool security monitoring the traffic coming in and out of the property.

Beyond explanation! Fabulous 5 star + property, staff, and management. The condo was right on the ocean with a balcony off every room, even the kitchen. We could see lush green mountains and surfers hanging ten in the warm blue waters of the central Pacific from every room and balcony. The trade winds really kept the condo cool and we only used the a/C at night. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The guards at the front and rear of the building added to the very secure feeling of the structure, itself. A short walk to the center of town, we did not need a car and when we did take a taxi, the fare was never over $2 us including tip. We didn't take he bus anywhere but the bus station is right across the street, providing easy access to any attraction in the country. There is a local bus stop directly in front of the building, and I was told I could ride anywhere in town or to other nearby beaches for around 15 cents. There are about 60 restaurants and sidewalk bistros within a 15 minute walk. We had a variety of gourmet cuisine, as well as, local pick up favorites. My wife preferred the fish tacos at Bubba's. There's a Pizza Hut at the bus station and the KFC is about 6 blocks from acqua.
The condo had every amenity and we will definitely go back. They say august is in rainy season, but it only rained once during the entire two weeks we were there. Our only complaint is that most of the movie rentals (there are no theaters) were subtitled in spanish which we found a little distracting. We found that they did have DVD rentals of nearly every movie that is currently showing in the theaters in the us. -

I really had a good time when I stayed at aqua , not only for aqua itself but also location, it was close to everything. The guys that helped us made an excellent work and kept a very positive attitude.
