Jaco is in Central Pacific Ocean in Costa Rica. Fun in the Sun. Surfing, Deep Sea Fishing, Scuba Diving, Snorkeling, Wildlife, Outdoor Adventures and Scenery. Jaco is about 90 minute drive southwest of San Jose, the capital into which most planes fly into at the SJO international airport. It is in the north part of Jaco. The condo is across the street from the ocean beach. It is on the 8th floor so you have a view of the waves from your balcony where you can sit and relax after a day of adventure and fun. It is within blocks of stores, restaurants, bars, tours. Parking is free and within walls that have 24/7 security and gate to enter complex. There is a huge quadruple size pool with 3 jacuzzis.

My family and I stayed for 4 days and then asked for an additional 3 days, which we did get. The pool was wonderful, really big and had plenty of room. The wifi is not so great so don't expect it. Yes you can go to the lobby but still you have to sit outside. Plenty of internet cafe's around, but you are on vacation people let it go...Lol
Great view and very clean, has laundry which is a must for a family and worked very well. Michael Cantor is a man of his word and that goes a long way when you are going out of the country with your family. We are planning on going back next year and will be staying at Michael's place again. Thank you... -

Good Value. Off the beach quarter mile or so on a road with no sidewalk.
The pool was great for the kids.
The condo complex is somewhat hoopty, but it is Central america.
The kitchen is well set-up. Bedrooms are large, the bed I stayed on didn't have a fitted sheet. -

This was perfect, since we had Jaco as our "base" and then went to different places, depending on what we decided on a given day.
Condo was wonderful, we were able to wash clothes, cook and were central to everything. Only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because the guards were a bit rude and the wifi worked only if we were at the pool area. Everyone else was great & the grounds were beautiful!
Overall, though, we had a fantastic time and I would definitely stay here again. Waking up to the birds making noise in the trees surrounding the condo and watching the sunset in the ocean every day was a joy.
Note: this is a condo, not a hotel! If you run out of something, go to the local store and buy it. People had complained about that before. Manage your expectations. ;)
Directions in CR are spotty at best, but to get there, when you're coming in off highway, turn at the Maxi Store (green signs) and it is on the right...5 towers. If you're in town, turn at Chuck's wow Surf shot and it's on your left.Response from Michael L. Cantor - 02/03/2013

Thank you Lisa. I am thrilled you enjoyed the condo, its amenities, in condo washer-dryer, kitchen, and the killer Million Dollar View of sunsets and surf from the balcony, and Jaco and its location for seeing Costa Rica. I am sorry about the guards. That is the first time I had heard that. I will talk to their boss. It is hard in that they speak little English. They do provide great 24/7 security. As for the wi-fi, I usually get it in the condo in the am and night. It is frustrating in that the atmosphere can stop the signal. Sorry it did not work better for you. Glad it worked by the beautiful large pool. Thanks for pointing out it is a condo, not a hotel and that guests should realize it is Latin America. I look forward to your staying with me again. We where at Jaco for our 30TH anniversary with our grown boys had a blast!!!great place very comfortable,,close to everything..very very nice pool area..great staff at the office,specially sandie ,,new evrythingand great recomendations what and where to go eat etc etc,,she found us a girl name Ericka,,for all our tours,very accomadating,,and funny,and u can work w/her on pricing for the tours,,,we should return!!!

The management people were friendly and very helpful too. We traveled to the volcano and hot springs, toured the rainforest, zip lined, toured the mangroves, went to the beach, visited crocodile bridge and so much more! We left many notes in the guest book of the fun and interesting excursions we enjoyed and included some information on different restaurants we liked. We love the town of Jaco. The people are very nice and welcoming! We would love to go back again. Thank you again for the use of your condo, it is spectacular."

The condo was absolutely wonderful and it was exactly what we were looking for. The condo itself was great (spectacular view) with a very nice pool (the kids loved it) and the location was perfect as it was away from all the downtown noise, but close enough to enjoy the beach and town. But I greatly appreciated the little touches that were made in order to make the place feel comfortable such as the games, Dvd's, the diverse array of cooking ingredients, etc.
This condo felt like a home, rather than a rental. -

I travel a lot for both pleasure and business. What a relief it was to come home everyday to a huge 3 bedroom condo. It felt like coming back home, instead of just returning to your hotel room. View from the 8th floor was magestic. We would open all of the blinds during the day and night to take in the scenery through the large picture windows looking onto the ocean. The view is especially great during the lightning storms. The place was very clean and extremely comfortable. We walked only 10 minutes to the local grocery store upon arrival and bought everything we needed for the week. The full kitchen was great for making breakfast or a quick lunch when we did not feel like eating out. All the furniture and appliances are extremely modern which adds to the appeal. We could even drink the water from the tap and use the electricity without any converters. The complex staff was also very friendly and helpful. We plan on staying here again when we return in 6 months. Pura Vida

This condo is great. It is located very near all the restaurants in Jaco. The condo is very comfortable and it has all the amenities of a small resort. My kids enjoyed the pool area very much and we walk to the beach every day.
I highly recommend it.. -

Spacious and Comfortable with Breathtaking Views.

We enjoyed everything about this condo and the surrounding area. Transportation to and from the airport was easy. Jaco is an easy town to grocery shop, have dinner , rent a car shop. The beach and others nearby are breathtaking. The condo is spacious and comfortable with breathtaking views. Really did not want to leave. Joy B and friends from NM spent Christmas week, 2011.
