The layout of this home is a great scenario for a diversified family setting. With four daughters and their significant others, a one year old granddaughter and us , the proud head of the family, this vacation rental worked perfectly.
Location, layout and fridendly help from the rental team made this vacation a great success

Great location, just close enough to the beach, restaurants and bars, but far away from the uproar and tumult. We were a pack of 15, and I can tell you it is a spacious house, very well maintained and equipped with all the facilities and amenities you need to relax and enjoy your vacations.
My only recommendation is to bring enough sunblock lotion as the pool has no shading. Also, for a house that can accommodate 15 people there's not enough parking spaces (just 2 cars) so plan accordingly; although it seems like a pretty secure residential area so cars might be left on the street... your call.
Will definitely consider to returning to Casa Gris for our next vacation and kudos to Gabriel and the rental office staff, they were friendly and available 24/7 to help me and my family with any request. -

Great for large groups. We had 7 guys and we all had our own bed. The attached apartments are a nice touch to add more privacy for all guests. Thanks for the hospitality. Pura Vida!

Five of us dropped in at the last minute to Gabriel's office looking for somewhere to stay for four days. He was very patient and professional with us and found a great place that met our needs well.
When I returned home I realized that I'd left my iPhone somewhere in Costa Rica.
The next day Gabriel emailed that he had found it and was ready to ship it to me! I was relieved.
If you're in Jaco you can trust Gabriel. -

The vacation was just as advertised, plenty of room for all 9 of us, everything was in good condition, the pool and the BBQ really made the stay even more enjoyable...whenever we found a small maintenance issue it was taken care of by the manangement company within the same day, plus the issues were very minor to say the least! Overall it was a great experience, I would recommend it to anyone and will use them again if we ever go back! Gabriel Rocha was great in helping us with our needs! Pura Vida!

It was a great place to stay only draw back was the beds in the loft - I wont put small children up there as it is too high. The staff was wonderful - we had the air conditioners blow out on us in the evening and they fixed them in the morning. They were always willing to help us and were very polite. I would recommend this house to anyone going to Jaco, Costa Rica.

This is the second time we have stayed at Casa Gris. The unit needs to be a little updated with bigger TV's but for the most part, you cannot beat the value anywhere in Jaco.

Gabriel has done it again! He suggested to our group Casa Gris and he did not steer us wrong. Great location with great ammenities. All of us (just 5) had plenty of space and the place was extremely secure. Will definitely stay there again!!

We rented the full place for 2 nigths and we were able to fit 15 people with plenty of space. The place was great, clean and we found everything we needed in the house. Gabriel was very helpful, we are definitively comming back!

This is a beautiful house, you don't have to worry about bringing anything except your bathing suit as it has all you need. The only problem is that for such a big house ( it accomodates 15 people very confortably) there is only park for 2 cars. But overall, I'll give a 5 out of 5.

Needs a toaster and top shades in the bedrooms to keep the early morning light out. The last outside bedroom smells moldy. The air conditioning was a life saver.

Thank you for your comments. We take them very seriously. The smell in that bedroom is not mold, it's the natural smell of some wood inside the ceiling. However, we are hiring an ozone treatment to remove it anyway. The reservation was a walk-in, which did not allow time to properly turn on the air conditioning before arrival to remove the smell. We are talking to the owner to possibly installing shades to the top windows in the main house bedrooms, all other bedroom windows have them. In December 2010, our group of six guys (all in our mid-20's) stayed at Casa Gris for a week. After finding the house online, Gabriel and Hugo of Beach Home Costa Rica were extremely helpful in answering our many questions about both the house and Jaco. Upon our arrival in Jaco, the check-in process was quick and easy. The house itself was PERFECT! We had access to the main house and both apartments and had more than enough space. The pictures on the website accurately depict the current condition of the house. The house contained on-site laundry, a very good stereo (with an AUX input so you can connect an IPod -- just bring a cord to connect the two,) and a fully stocked kitchen (plates/silverware/glasses/utensils/etc.). Having your own pool and gas grill was also very convenient. The house is about a five minute walk to Jaco's main street and then an additional two minute walk from the street to the beach. There is also a grocery store located half-way between the house and the main street.
We were very impressed with the level of service provided by Beach Home Costa Rica. At one point during our stay, a key broke off and became stuck in one of the exterior doors. Within minutes of calling, Gabriel sent someone out to extract the broken key from the lock. Managemnt was very acommodating and allowed a group of 5 to rentthe main home and one apt. The place is a fortress, a compound and a dream home getaway all in one. Walking distance to all of Jaco's attractions, including the beach, supermarket, clubs and local eateries. I would highly recommend this location for either a suffers trip, a guys trip or even a family vacay as it is quite spacious, centrally located and very nice. Best trip of my life
