I've always enjoyed going to Jaco in Costa Rica...this was my fourth time and first time at LaFlor. I plan on going back next year with a large group of friends...I do not have one single complaint...everything about the trip and our stay at LaFlor was perfect! I work for JAZZ.FM91 in Toronto and praised my recent excursion with wild, joyous abandon!

Our stay was very nice. It was difficult a couple times coming thru the gate though. There was one guard that almost wouldn't let us in! We were never put on the list!!! The other guards were great cause the actually took the time to recognize us and let us in right away.
My husband and I stayed in the room with the King bed and we were actually disgusted when we were going to bed the first night. The sheets on the bed had stains on them!!! YUCK!!! We noticed there were new sheets in the cupboard in the room so we opened up a pkg and put them on the bed. We then washed the sheets that were on our bed and folded them up and put them away.
It would have been nice if there was some chairs on the balcony's to enjoy a coffee outside. We couldn't sit outside at all as there was NO FURNITURE! Maybe something to think about getting.
Also, maybe buy a coffee filter that stays in the machine. We had to go buy a whole box of filters. We left 80% of the box there for the next person. My husband made coffee the first morning and didn't realize there was no filter. Our first week in Manuel Antonio there was a filter that just gets washed after every use. It was perfect.
Anyways, other than those few things the house was very nice. The weather was perfect!! It was 30-35 degrees the whole two weeks we were in Costa Rica. LOVE THAT!!!!Response from BEACHHOME Costa Rica Vacation Rentals - 02/14/2012

Thank you for your comments. I apologize about the inconveniences you encountered. We have taken the steps to correct them. First, you were on the authorized entry list, I personally gave it to the guards. That particular guard was not looking in the right place. The sheets that were placed in the Master bed should not have been used in the first place. They had been stored away and the housekeeper placed them anyway instead of the new ones. We should have supervised this better. I am passing your comment on the terrace furniture to the owner. I hope they listen this time as this request is not new. There were paper coffee filters in the kitchen, maybe you did not see them. We prefer them as being more hygienic. I wish you would have called us to ask for them. Thank you, Gabriel Rocha, BEACHHOME Costa Rica Vacation Rentals.

The food was excellent and we found some very good restaurants. The tours were enjoyable; particularly the monkey tour and Calypso Cruise to tortuga island.

Excellent location for access to beach and Claritas. Short drive to Los Suenos to go fishing. Security at both gates. The house was very comfortable and had all the ammenities we needed for a long weekend. We did have a one problem where we were without water for the last night. We ended up using the shower at the pool.

Thanks for your comments Scott. We will fix that problem immediately, I wish we had known before to solve it at that moment. The house does have a water holding tank for emergencies. Best regards, Gabriel Rocha, Beachhome Costa Rica Vacation Rentals.
