Recently, a group of my Nashville friends got together at Hemlock Bluff to celebrate a friend's birthday. When we arrived, the place was sparkling clean and the natural sunlight coming through the large windows was a welcomed surprise on the cold winter day. There was plenty of wood available for the fireplace and the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to prepare a birthday feast. We took advantage of the location by venturing out to hike along the river and again amongst the nearby rock houses. Afterwards, we had a warm soak in the huge hottub under the stars.
We all proclaimed that we would return soon to this fabulous retreat in the woods! -

The cabin is nestled in the woods adjacent to the Big South Fork.. out every window is a view of the beautiful flora and fauna. We had a deer siting out the bedroom window one morning, took a lovely walk near the cabin and drove a short way for an easy hike to angel Falls. The hot tub on the deck was fantastic in January.. everything you could want is in the cabin including a fieldstone fireplace with a hearth big enough for up-close sitting! We woke to a skiff of new fallen snow on our last day. Truly a peaceful, enchanting getaway. Can't wait to experience Springtime at Hemlock Bluff. I hear the wildflowers are amazing in the Big South Fork!
