Description from the owner

Villa Alison is on two levels, with external, separate access to the lower level. All bedrooms have either shower or bathroom en suite and the family areas are very spacious.

A feature of the villa is the outside kitchen with BBQ, griddle, pizza oven and hob, great for summer get togethers.

Holidays in the area centre around the family, and visitors to the area spend hours at their private villa enjoying the privacy and their own company. For those seeking more, the Arenal beach area and the Aduanas Port areas both offer numerous bars and restaurants. There is the sandy Arenal beach, and numerous rocky coves including the beautiful Granadella beach. Boats and pedaloes are available for hire at the Arenal beach. Each year Javea celebrates several fiestas. Ones not to be missed are San Juan, June 18th to 24th, being the main fiesta of the 'old town'. The last night boasts a terrific firework display and the burning of a 'falla'. During July there is the colourful Moors and Christians festival and 1st to 8th September is the Virgen de Loreto, port fiestas. Not to be missed is the last night, 8th September, the firework display over the fishing port is spectacular.

And in the evening a trip to Benidorm Palace where a spectacular cabaret is performed - not to be missed! Visit Alicante to see the old Castle, or wander around the port. And a little more local, enjoy a drive inland to picturesque Guadalest perched high above a lake. The city of Valencia has many monuments well worth a visit and is also a great place to go shopping. And not too far away is Buñol where the world famous 'Tomatina' fiesta is celebrated each year on the last Wednesday of August. It is also possible to visit Barcelona by train in a day!

      Wonderful Holiday, Highly Recommended

Left on 09/29/2012 for a stay in August 2012

Wonderful is the only word to describe the holiday we had at villa alison. The place was huge with lots of lovely nooks and crannies for sitting, reading and being peaceful. It was very clean and well equipped and more than enough room for all our party and more! The pool and patio area was lovely, we used it all day, every day. The outdoor kitchen area was great and again we used this most days, probably more than the indoor kitchen (of which there are two) Any questions we had were quickly dealt with at the office which is only down the road. Javia itself is beautiful, perfect for family holidays, with lots of lovely bars and restaurants without being noisy or clubby! There are plenty of supermarkets nearby for food shopping. If I had one really teeny weeny comment, it would be that the villa could do with some plastic cups and utensils to use outside round the pool, but hey that is one tiny little thing. All in all, I cannot recommend this place highly enough and we will definatly return...Thanks a milloin

      Superb Villa!

Left on 08/16/2011 for a stay in August 2011

Found the aspects of Spain Office quite easily using the directions provided and also Google Maps. When we arrived the Office was shut so we had to get the keys out of the safe outside which was really simple having been provided with the combination before we left home.

Directions to the Villa from the office were spot on and totally different to the way I had intended to go by looking at maps. The Villa was even better than how it looked in the photos and we were amazed at how big it was. Our 2 children had a brilliant time in the pool which was cleaned twice during the week we stayed.Because there were only 6 of us, we didn't make the most of this superb Villa and would definitely stay here again with a bigger group of people to put this right!

      An excellent holiday

Left on 09/11/2010 for a stay in August 2010

Villa alison was lovely although the downstairs was very musty and could have been aired before our arrival - it had obviously been closed up for some time. The cleaner didn't do a very good job before we arrived - floor was filthy with lots of bits!! It appeard to have been cleaned in a hurry! Pool man didn't come until Wednesday (we arrived Saturday before) so pump wasn't running and was dirty at the bottom - he didn't come again either - not acceptable on a 10 day holiday where its being used every day.

A little disappointing when guests complain about the cleanliness yet say nothing to the local office when there giving us chance to rectify the problem there and then. Previous clients checked out of Villa Alison that same morning so quite surprising that it gave the appearance of being closed up for a while.
The norm with pool maintenance in the summer months is one clean per week and one further check of chemicals. The automatic filtration system works around eight hours each day and will filter the water during the hours the timer is set.
We have a local office and appreciate client feedback very much but prefer to be advised of anything that needs attention when clients are staying at the villa as this helps us to improve our quality of service.
