Additional Location Information
Jávea has long been the destination of choice for discerning visitors who are not interested in mass-market resorts. Holidays in the area centre around the family, and visitors to the area spend hours at their private villa enjoying the privacy and their own company. For those seeking more, the Arenal beach area and the Aduanas Port areas both offer numerous bars and restaurants. There is the sandy Arenal beach, and numerous rocky coves including the beautiful Granadella beach. Boats and pedaloes are available for hire at the Arenal beach. Each year Jávea celebrates several fiestas. Ones not to be missed are San Juan, June 18th to 24th, being the main fiesta of the 'old town'. The last night boasts a terrific firework display and the burning of a 'falla'. During July there is the colourful Moors and Christians festival and 1st to 8th September is the Virgen de Loreto, port fiestas. Not to be missed is the last night, 8th September, the firework display over the fishing port is spectacular.
The Northern Costa Blanca has long been a popular holiday destination for Spaniards and foreigners alike. The area is still famous for its Valencia oranges that are exported all over the world. Within half hour's drive is Benidorm where a fun day out is guaranteed with a visit to Terra Mitica (theme park), Aqualandia (water park), Terra Natura or Mundomar. And in the evening a trip to Benidorm Palace where a spectacular cabaret is performed - not to be missed! Visit Alicante to see the old Castle, or wander around the port. And a little more local, enjoy a drive inland to picturesque Guadalest perched high above a lake. The city of Valencia has many monuments well worth a visit and the city is also a great place to go shopping. And not too far away is Buñol where the world famous 'Tomatina' fiesta is celebrated each year on the last Wednesday of August. It is also possible to visit Barcelona by train in a day!

Villa Trencal has fabulous views across Javea and beyond. The service we received from aspects of Spain was excellent and I can thoroughly recommend them. The villa itself sits high on its plot so there are plenty of steps up from the parking area. There is a well-equipped kitchen with large fridge and dishwasher, but the outside space is where this property excels with a wonderful large pool terrace which caught the sun all day. There are plenty of sun beds and a large covered terrace with table and chairs for outdoor dining as well as comfy chairs. The gardens were immaculately maintained. Our only comments would be that the pool is a bit chilly as it is deep apart from the steps area, and the BBQ has seen better days, although we managed to use it most days! There are a couple of restaurants within walking distance, and the arenal beach bars are a great place to people-watch over an early evening drink. To sum up, the views are amazing and we had a wonderfully chilled week which is exactly what we were looking for.

The villa was superb for views and facilities. The whole aspect of Javea can be seen. Very beautiful. Very spacious and clean.
The only negatives are that there was limited cooking dishes ie: for baking in the oven (only saucepans with plastic handles and lids - so no good for the oven) Also the villa is 99.9% of the time in the shade ! When the sun is out you are blocked in every way from the sun. Shame... -

Felbridge, UKWonderful villa with the best view in Javea

This is the fifth villa we've stayed at with aspects of Spain and it was our favourite.
We booked it for the pool and it didn't disappoint and the villa was wonderful too.
It is true that there are a lot of steps but that wasn't a problem for us and the pool wouldn't be suitable for younger children but our teenagers loved it.
It was quiet and peaceful, we didn't see many ants and just a few mosquitos. The veiw was spectacular and there was a full sized telescope in the living room. Lots of space both inside and out. A great en-suite and a good shower room. There's another villa within view to the right but the bedrooms, pool and lower terrace aren't overlooked.
The master and one of the twins open directly to the pool terrace and both children opted to share so none would miss out.
Would go back and would recommend to families with older children or adult groups. -

Best view of any villa in Javea area - steps mean not suitable for children or disabled but for anyone else location etc very good. Outside umbrella would be useful and white goods could use an up date but overall great holiday accommodation.

The view of Javea was breathtaking and created a feeling of space. The pool was dramatic and fitted in well with the villa grounds (could have been a little less deep so we could touch the bottom somewhere). The villa was very good and we would look at renting again in the future - we were very pleased with it.
Just a couple of small observations, the freezer was not working, the aircon in the master bedroom kept tripping-out during the night and there was just enough plates, cups and glasses for the two of us - there would not be enough for a group of 6 people unless we were constantley washing up after each use.
Overall though, very happy.Response from Aspects of Spain Ltd - 09/27/2010

The following clients at the property reported the freezer problem and we put in a brand new fridge/freezer. The aircon is also now working as the technicians have replaced the fan that was causing the electrical problem. We will look in to the crockery, as this has now been reported, and provide more as necessary.
As always, we appreciate client feedback as this helps us to continually improve our service.

Went with 4 grandchildren (7,10,11 & 13). Excellant location 7mins from arenal beach (the beach umbrella was appreciated), the beach towels supplied cut down on the baggage. Absolutely stunning views even the kids commented. Full package of English TV programmes although the DVD connection should be fixed. Everyone liked the air conditioning in the bedrooms at night.

YorkDisappointing villa with a wonderful view and pool
Left on 07/08/2010 for a stay in June 2010
Tired villa in need of investment and comforts - for example a freezer that freezes, crockery that doesn't look like it was left behind when the car boot closed and some cooking pots that can be used in the oven. Cushions outside so the view can seen in comfort would be a nice touch. Welcome pack could be tailored to client's needs by asking ahead of arrival

Interesting to receive these comments as we have been letting this villa for a number of years and during the winter months extensive renovations have been carried out over the last three years. The kitchen and bathrooms are new. A lot of window frames have been replaced including replacing windows for doors to the two bedrooms giving access to the pool terrace. Last winter all bedrooms and the hallway floors were completely retiled.
The freezer has been checked and functions perfectly when set at a normal temperature. If turned up to maximum no fridge/freezer will work due to the casing overheating especailly when built in as is the case at Villa Trencal.
There is ample crockery at the villa and in our view it is in a reasonable condition. The oven has a baking tray and a rack as is standard and there is also a casserole dish.
The terrace is equipped with teak table and chairs for dining at and in addition there is a comfortable cane sofa and chairs equipped with cushions to relax and enjoy the view from.
We are always happy to receive client feedback and really appreciate it when they pop in to the local office. That way most things can be sorted straight away and clients can get on with enjoying their holiday.
