Lovely pool and terraces. Perfect for small family or two couples holidaying together. Glazed in sun room offering fabulous views, perfect for the cooler months. The ideal holiday home to chill out.

Casa Carls is a spacious two bedroom villa situated in a privileged position high on the slopes of Mt Montgo. The views are quite stunning - south across the valley to Benitachell in the distance, east towards the village of Javea and the sea (a glimpse), and west to the Aitana hills in the distance.

Entrance to the villa is up steps to the front door and into the lounge area. This is "split-level" with a step up to the dining area. Th...e well equipped kitchen, including dishwasher, is just off the dining area. Outside the kitchen is a small service patio housing the washing machine.

To the front of the villa the lounge opens out to a long sun lounge, running the length of the villa. This is furnished with a couple of sofas and a second dining table and chairs, and thus gives more space for relaxing and enjoying the views.

From the lounge, going towards the back of the house, a passage leads to two bedrooms, a shower room and a bathroom (en suite with the main bedroom). The main bedroom has double doors going out to the sun lounge.

Both the bedrooms at Casa Carls are equipped with air conditioning, and this will be particularly welcome in the hot summer months.The same units are used for heating the bedrooms in the cooler months, and in the winter, available as an extra.

From the sun lounge doors go out to an open terrace with table and chairs, and from this terrace steps go down to the pool on the lower level.

The large swimming pool is in a walled patio, with a paved terrace surround. There are plenty of sun loungers, a table and chairs and a parasol. This area is quite private and enjoys the same wonderful views as the upstairs terraces.

The villa is located at the end of a cul-de-sac so therefore getting no passing traffic so very quiet. Occasionally there may be the odd noise from a soaring eagle or other varieties of birds nesting on Mt. Montgo behind the villa.Read more

Jávea has long been the destination of choice for discerning visitors who are not interested in mass-market resorts. Holidays in the area centre around the family, and visitors to the area spend hours at their private villa enjoying the privacy and their own company. For those seeking more, the Arenal beach area and the Aduanas Port areas both offer numerous bars and restaurants. There is the sandy Arenal beach, and numerous rocky coves including the beautiful Granadella beach. Boats and pedaloes are available for hire at the Arenal beach. Each year Jávea celebrates several fiestas. Ones not to be missed are San Juan, June 18th to 24th, being the main fiesta of the 'old town'. The last night boasts a terrific firework display and the burning of a 'falla'. During July there is the colourful Moors and Christians festival and 1st to 8th September is the Virgen de Loreto, port fiestas. Not to be missed is the last night, 8th September, the firework display over the fishing port is spectacular.
The Northern Costa Blanca has long been a popular holiday destination for Spaniards and foreigners alike. The area is still famous for its Valencia oranges that are exported all over the world. Within half hour's drive is Benidorm where a fun day out is guaranteed with a visit to Terra Mitica (theme park), Aqualandia (water park), Terra Natura or Mundomar. And in the evening a trip to Benidorm Palace where a spectacular cabaret is performed - not to be missed! Visit Alicante to see the old Castle, or wander around the port. And a little more local, enjoy a drive inland to picturesque Guadalest perched high above a lake. The city of Valencia has many monuments well worth a visit and the city is also a great place to go shopping. And not too far away is Buñol where the world famous 'Tomatina' fiesta is celebrated each year on the last Wednesday of August. It is also possible to visit Barcelona by train in a day!

  Fantasic views - villa in need of some TLC

  Villa Carls has one of the best views we have had, but sadly the villa itself was lacking some very basic necessities i.e. matches for the gas cooker, pegs for the washing neither of which we discovered until needed, also there was no hair dryer. We have been renting villas for several years and this one was the least well equipped for the beach there were no towels, beach chairs for even mats. There was only one sun umbrella by the pool which was not enough for 4 people, but oddly there were 8 sun loungers! I feel that at almost £700 per week we did not get value for money. Air Con is not included until the end of June and because of excessive night time temperatures this made life very unpleasant.

  This is the third time we have visited Casa Carls. It has to be one of the most beautiful locations in Spain.Peace, tranquility, A thoroughly relaxing holiday.Local food is excellent and good value for money.Staff make your stay very comfortable, even supplying gas one evening, which interrupted their evening with friends.We will Definately return again. The only complaint is perhaps a king size bed could be provided in the lower part of the villa.
