The Cabin is constructed using traditional post and beam craftsmanship where particular attention was paid to maintaining an airtight and draft free environment. The all-wood interior will surround you with a warm and comfortable feeling that can only be experienced in a home that is constructed in the post and beam fashion.
The main floor features cathedral-ceilings, and an open kitchen floor plan allows guests to interact while cooking and dining.
When it is time to retire for the evening, The 3 Bears Cabin will accommodate 6 guests and well trained dogs.

Loved this place. Had everything we needed for our ski weekend away. Whiteface was close, so was Lake Placid. Comfortable beds, two bathrooms with showers in each, big kitchen and nice seating area it was a relaxing place to return to after a hard day on the slopes.
Directions from owner were perfect, if only, we had followed them. If you put the address to Jay, NY in the GPS one of the routes will take you through the mountains. We were lucky we didn't encounter any problems along the way! But it was a beautiful drive.
We were greated by the neighbours lovely dog who is quite accustomed to strangers and wonderfully friendly.
The only perfect addition would be a hottub outside overlooking the beautiful forest. Despite that, we will certainly return to this spot! -

Not fancy, but has everything you need. Same can be said of the town. Great place to stay and enjoy the hiking. A great value.
