Thanks Bruce!

Columbia, MDGreat holiday stay
Left on 12/31/2012 for a stay in December 2012
Our group (two couples with teenage kids) had a wonderful stay at this house over the holidays. The cabin is very cozy, well maintained and has everything you might need. The owners even stocked the fridge with some sparkling water and a few other basics. With 2 bedrooms upstairs for 2 couples and a large bedroom on the main level for the kids (or a couple with kids), there was plenty of room for everyone. Both bathrooms are outside of bedrooms, which makes them easy to share. Plenty of towels were provided and beds were comfortable. The gas fireplace was great to curl up by with a good book while the blizzard was blowing outside. Once the fog lifted, we had a nice view of the mountain in the distance. Bruce was very responsive to all our questions and reservation was easy. Highly recommend this cabin!

Burlington, VTGreat place to stay in the mountians

Really nice, clean house with plenty of beds for guests. Nice and cozy main floor with beautiful surroundings right outside the window. Great deck space as well.
Just a couple miles from Jay Peak for a great day hike, as well as many little trails right by the house to wonder around on.
Kitchen was well stocked with equipment and other basic, but if planning an elaborate meal you probably want to bring a few of your own knives, as the one at the house a pretty dull. They did the trick for us though!
Overall great stay. Very clean! Definately a nice place to get a away to with friends or family! -

My family had a great time at the alpine Haven home. Very close to tennis court, volley ball, and pool. Home had everything we needed. We had six in our party, but house could easily accommodate 8. Internet and cable access was a plus!

Wilder, VermontWonderful experience - great house and wonderful people to do bu

While my family had special needs due to my elderly recently widowed father that we convinced to make the trip for my nephew's wedding, this place couldn't have bee more perfect. Every concern or request that I made to Bruce was immediately addressed and we had a wonderful time. The house is spacious with lots of varied sleeping accommodations. Also well-equipped (much more than I expected) and everything was well-maintained and ready to use. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, potS and pans, serving dishes, storage containers, etc. the linens for the beds were nice and everything was perfect. I would definitely consider renting this house for a family gathering since it was such a beautiful sight to come out of the shower and see the whole family gathered around the kitchen table and at the bar sharing coffee and breakfast just like it were home! Thank you Bruce for making my best laid plans come to fruition.

Stayed there the week after christmas. We were lucky enough to get some snow on our trip! The house is very nice and well furnished. The kitchen was well equipped with everything you would need (however, pots/pans were just ok). Fire place was great. Nice wood floors. We had a problem with the cable, but once I let bruce know, he fixed it immediately.
Location is great. You are are right inbetween jay peak resort and montgomery. At the same time, you are in your own secluded spot with nice views.
I would come back in the future. House was great and Bruce is very easy to work with. -

We had a small group head up to Jay Peak for the New Year and rented this house. It was perfect! Plenty of space to hang out and cook. We struck out with the skiing due to warm weather, but made the best of it with a great snow shoe through the woods, on marked paths, behind the house. The house is only a 5 minute drive to the resort where we also did some skating and had a day at the new water park which is a must see! Overall a great experience and perfect house to come back to and relax after a day of activities. It is secluded looking out from the front porch yet a 5 minute drive can get you to the store or the resort. Thanks

Lexington, MALovely vacation house!
Left on 11/23/2011 for a stay in August 2011
We spent a week in august at this house, using it as a base for touring and hiking. The location is quiet and largely without distractions. There is a very nice clay tennis court a short walk that is available to occupants within the collection of vacation homes in the small development. We had unfettered use of the court the entire week.
The house is convenient to both Jay village and Montgomery (in opposite directions along 242). It was clean, although the basement was off limits as it was in the process of being remodeled. The upstairs was well appointed, with a very functional kitchen, large bathrooms, and very spacious bedrooms. The owners were very responsive to questions we raised about obtaining internet access (which worked well), how the TV worked, and some issues related to odors from the remodeling downstairs. The owners had clearly put effort and expense into making the house comfortable and were continuing to remodel it to expand the living space.
The house inside is quite luxurious for a vacation place. The outside was rustic (little landscaping, and minimal views peeking through the trees).
We loved the location, as it was an ideal place from which to explore northern Vermont on foot and bicycle. -

I stayed here with some friends last winter for a weekend of skiing at Jay Peak. We wanted a bigger place to relax in instead of a bunch of hotel rooms. And for the price, this place couldn't be beat.
Big kitchen, tons of beds, 5 minute drive to the slopes at Jay Peak. We picked up groceries in nearby Montgomery where they have a surprisingly big store. Lots and lots of parking too (we had a few trucks so that came in handy).
