Ease into the hot tub on the upper deck, whether it be at night for stargazing, or in the day to relax and take in the water views. Plenty of rest and relaxation is calling. Activities in the area include wine tasting, swimming, kayaking, hiking, fishing, horseback riding, surfing, sight seeing, golf and much more.

From River Sea you are walking distance into the town of Jenner, Russian River, and Kayak Rentals. The Perfect beach destination, ju...st 2 miles south from River Sea is Goat Rock Beach. This is a wonderful sandy beach great for exploration, sea life, and also the start to a wonderful hiking trail called the Kortum Trail, starts at Goat Rock Beach. You can also Kayak from the town of Jenner, over to Goat Rock Beach, a very nice boat trip over. If your looking for a romantic dinner for 2, make a reservation at River's End, about 1 mile North of River Sea here in Jenner, sunset is the best time to make your reservation to take in the surrounding beauty.Read more

  I spent a week in this cottage last winter. It was a cold and rainy week, but the stars came out at night so we still sat in the hot tub and enjoyed the sky and the night sounds. The view is really breathtaking, looking west down the Russian River and into the Pacific Ocean. The house is perched on the side of a steep hill so that neighboring houses are actually lower and don't obstruct the view. The house is small. Four would be a crowd, but with just us two girls we each got a bedroom and having just one bath wasn't an issue. There's no heat other than the "wood" stove -- really, it's gas --which is simple to use and kept the place cozy. Everything worked. It was clean and well stocked. And the rental agent called a couple times to make sure everything was ok. My only complaint would be the roads up the mountain to the house. They are extremely narrow, extremely steep, and in pretty bad shape. Especially dangerous in foul weather and at night. Truly, you are within walking distance of town, but the walk back home would be a strenuous climb. In spite of the road -- which, of course, is not the owner's fault -- this is a great get-away. Lovely drive through the mountains for a daytime to wine country or either direction up and down the coast for breathtaking vistas or natural beaches. I'd definitely recommend the place and would gladly stay again.
