We were two families looking for a vacation apartment in Manhattan but these are very hard to find so we booked the large, three bedroom apartment in Jersey City Sky City at 70 Greene .It turned out to be a fantastic solution .The apartment tower is overlooking the Hudson river and the south Manhattan sky line .The windows are from floor to ceiling so we were constantly amazed by the view always changing with the shifting of weather, sunset, sun rise, night scenes etc. This turned out to be one of the most exciting highlights of our trip. Be advised that not all apartments overlook this view and I am not sure that this can be insured when booking. The apartment itself was great, sparkling clean and equipped with everything you need. On the ground floor there is a very convenient Deli with one of the greatest varieties I have ever seen. The location is a short walking distance from the "Path" underground train which is only one stop from Manhattan Ground zero Metro station. The only problem with this was that the "Path" train stopped running at 10pm (I believe this was temporary because of renovations being made in the aftermath of the Sandy hurricane).Taxies are expensive as they have to pay a toll when crossing the tunnel. The apartment is also close to the promenade overlooking the same views of the skyline but other than this there is not much in the area - who cares one stop and you're in Manhattan!

La possibilità di stare a un passo da newyork (1 fermata di metro) con la tranquillità di una città meno caotica ,inoltre la vista sullo skyline e l'arredamento super moderno e funzionale .Non mancava nulla era pulitissimo luminoso e molto funzionale . Un solo aggettivo: perfetto

Très bonne adresse. L appartement est magnifique. Tout est propre et design. Nous avons adoré et reviendrons sans soucis la prochaine fois. A 1 station de wall street par le métro. Ou sinon, on peut prendre le bateau navette pour l autre rive.
La vue de l appartement est magique sur la statue de la liberté et Manhattan.

I was impressed with the apartment owners before I left for my holidays. They responded to emails and compromised on price. The apartment was easy to find and the building staff helpful. The location of the apartment was excellent; less than five minute walk from the path train station and next door to a wonderful deli. Great pub and bistro also within minutes walk. The apartment could not have been cleaner. Beautiful apartment with stunning views. Unfortunately on the second last day of our holiday we used the washing machine. The machine didn't drain and it left our clothes covered in what appeared to be sand. I sent an email reporting the broken machine and also repeated my complaint to a member of staff that turned up at the apartment . I have not heard anything regarding my complaint. I found this very disappointing as I had previously found the responses from the owner to be prompt and detailed. The only other downside was the limited use of the pool. The pool was closed for much of our stay and I felt that the apartment was advertised with the pool as being in full use. I should say that although this was my experience I choose this apartment on recommendation from a friend who found the owners to be very accommodating with all their requests.

Nice vieuw,clean appartment,everything you need is in the appartment,verry quick free internet,spacy bedroom.The only minus is that the appartment was for 2-4 guests and the second bed (sleep coutch)had a verry bad matras en took a lot of space .We mainly went there to see new york and it was verry nice to rest after a day walking in town.It was great to relax at The swimmingpool. The path(subway)to manhattan was nearby the appartment and it took only 1 stop to manhattan 9-11 memorial.A upermarket is around the corner. when you are not in the mood to ga far for dinner some restaurants are nearby sel as a coffeeshop for breakfast and lunch.I would reccoment this appartment to everyone!!!

Tfiz booking on 26 to 31 august 2012 and my efetuei option for payment in advance, and everything that was promised, I realized that was carefully prepared.
Arriving NY, chose precisely the flat for me, I was surprised because it far exceeded my expectations, the view was wonderful, the place very nice and safe, cozy, clean, with bed linen and bath and enough quality kitchen equipped with everything needed for a great stay, including washer / dryer, access to transport are very close.
We would like to congratulate the team at Sky City apts for providing an excellent service quality and high level, mainly Marília that you always showed up willing.
I was only with regret, for personal reasons had to anticipate our exit in a day.
I request to be posted and transmitted to all my simple thanks.

We had full support and infos during the remote booking procedure from the staff. And when we stepped into this fully-furnished, brand new, spacious apartment and took in the breathtaking view from the wall-sized glass window overlookig Liberty and Ellis Island, just in front of Manhattan we knew this was tha place we were looking for.
Jersey City is just 5 min by Path train from WTC and the apartment is just 5 min walking from the JC Path train station. Shops an restaurants are just round the corner and the JC light train brings you in 10 min to big shopping malls.

we liked least...leaving
Next time we'll come to NY we'll use again the great service offered by Sky City 70 Greene, big time!

Très bel appartement, bien équipé et propre. Conforme aux indications données par Skycity.Vue sur la statue de La Liberté.Salle de sport et piscine très agréables.
Canapé lit un peu "raide" car matelas un peu mince.
Système de transport en commun un peu compliqué entre le New-jersey et New-York. Fournir un peu plus d'information. -

I was very skeptical when first aiming to book an apartment close to New York City.
We decided to give it a shot and were absolutely amazed at the views, the quality of the apartment and its proximity to New York City. It's literally a stone's throw away and is easily accessible by public transport.
The building was very nice and had so many amenities that we didn't have time to take advantage of them all.
The process was seamless and easy. I would most definitely rent again! -

lOvely apartment in a great location.
Apartment was spotless internet,cable,washing facilities couldnt ask for more.
5min walk to the path railway line and ferrys to manhattan.

Il faut prendre le path pour passer dans le New Jersey même pas 10mn et aprés 5 mn de marche pour arriver à l'appartement.C'est très calme, pas de bruit de sirènes.Nous avions la chance d'être au 30ème étage avec une vue superbe sur la statue de la liberté.Fantastique!!!
Nous étions juste en face de Manhattan .
Appartement trés propre, très bien équipé , moderne avec tout le confort.Un séjour parfait.
