First time we decided to stay in an apartment rather than a hotel when visiting Jerusalem. We were thrilled with the location and the service provided by avi during our stay. The apartment was clean, comfortable, well appointed, and in a perfect location to walk around the city. Would recommend avi (City of Gold apartments) to anyone staying with family and friends in Jerusalem

Good location. Clean apartment. Good light. Good a/C. Good WiFi. Good agent.
Poor layout and very cramped living quarters. Apt is 3brm and 4 bathrooms. It really only needs to be 2brm, 2 bths and thus there are too many walls and the living space is very confined and narrow. -

We had a fabulous time staying in the 13 Lloyd George property managed by avi Goldberg from cog. This apartment was perfect for our seven people family, the bedrooms are large and there is a nice outside patio for a smoker and a great roofdeck for the whole family to relax on and listen to the bells of Jerusalem.
The managment agent met us at the apartment, (it was the middle of the night) and got us aquainted with everythig there. she was availble throughout our stay if we had any questions about the apartment or the neighborhood. The one day the hot water heater was on the fritz, she responded immediatly.
The neighborhood is superb if you want to be able to go to cafes and restaurants, there is even a skating ring down the block and a big park. It is a nice walk to downtown and the old city, but you can get there easily by bus which is right on the corner.
If you are not comfortable making Israeli coffee then be aware that the apartment does not have a electric cofee maker, but cafes abound and it is a nice morning walk to get cofee for the family and then enjoy it on the roof deck. The apartment was well equipped with anythig you need to be comfortable, inculding washing machine detergent. I would highly recomend this apartment. The aprtment was eactly as pictured on the cog site, there were no surprises other then the rality of how great a neighborhood and what good service we received.

We have rented from avi Goldberg twice. The first time -summer 2010 - we rented the 5-bedroom apartment on Lloyd George. We were there with extended family. The minute we got there we felt as if we lived there. The location was great, around the corner from dozens of kosher restaurants and convenient to the Old City and town. There was plenty of room for everyone to hang out, plenty of sheets and towels, facilities to invite 20 people for dinner, everything for a much more reasonable price than a hotel. We loved it. Summer 2011 we again had a family wedding, with less relatives this time. We rented an apartment in Talbieh, a fantastic location a 20-minute walk to the Kotel, again for much less than a hotel. We will definetely use avi again.

13 Lloyd George, 5 Bedroom/ 2 1/2 bath apt in German Colony. Great location, large and comfortable apartment. Agent took care of anything that we needed and was flexible. Apt was clean. Apt is close to Old City and walkable to Ben Yehuda. Easy to get cabs and lots of restaurants and grocery nearby. Rental included all linens and washer/dryer. We were 4 generations, extended family, sharing the apartment and we were comfortable.

Unlike many other Israeli rentals, this apartment has the feeling of home. From the walk-in closet to the modern bathrooms and kitchen, you can tell that the owners are american and have thought of every detail. The apartment is ideal for a couple with perhaps one or two children. The location and the private parking are also great pluses.

Apartment was in excellent location and was comfortable, clean, and all appliances in good working order.
Avi was wonderful. He met us personally and went through the apartment. We had one issue with the internet connection and he came by and personally resolved it within one day.

We rented the apartment on Rechov Sokolov. The apartment was well maintained and clean. The location was central to everything, shopping, downtown and the Old City. Avi's service was great. He made certain that we had everything we needed and responded immediately when we had any questions. We would stay in one of avi's apartments again without hesitation.
