The owner of this property is extremely responsive and very considerate. He even called a few times to make sure everything was ok. Which it was. The apartment is in the best location (in my opinion), you can walk anywhere, the Kotel, Old City, Mamilla Mall, etc. It's a quiet street, ground floor apartment. The bedrooms are a good size with ample closet space. The kitchen is new and the living area was perfect for the 4 of us. There are two bathrooms that are a bit small (especially the showers). If you're looking for a place to stay in the best location in town, this is the place for you.

We enjoyed the staying in the apt on our recent trip. The location was perfect. 5 minutes to Ben Yehuda, Yeshurun and Great Synangogue 25 minutes to old city. The apt had everything we needed including everything for shabbat. Efrayim and Ruti were very accomodating they took care of any problems quickly and effeciently. I look forward to staying here again and would highly reccomend to friends.

San Diego, CAAmazing location
Left on 04/26/2012 for a stay in April 2012
The location is great - just a few minute walk to Ben Yehuda, close to many synagogues, not a bad walk to the Old City.
The owners were a pleasure to work with.
Clean apartment with enough room for my family.
Improvements I'd recommend:
Wifi - was spotty the whole time
Washer/Dryer - didn't get close very clean, didn't dry
Overall a great experience and a great place to stay for Pesach. -

Toronto, ONGreat apartment in Ideal Location
Left on 02/03/2012 for a stay in January 2012
We had a most enjoyable 2-week stay in this beautiful, well-situated apartment. The spacious 2 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment far exceeded our expectations. The furnishings were done and maintained in good taste - the owners obviously take pride in their rental property. It was a wonderful place to come "home” to at the end of every busy, tiring day. It also provided us with a welcoming place for our daughters, who attend a Jerusalem seminary, to join us for Shabbat. Location was ideal for a tourist. Since we didn't want to rent a car, it was important to us that most places of interest be in walking distance: 20 mins to the Kotel, 5-7 mins. to any number of large well-known synagogues, as well as smaller, more intimate shuls, including our favorite - The Gra Shul in neighboring Shaarei Chessed. The daily minyan in the building's basement was an extra bonus. The apt. is 10 mins to a full-size supermarket, and tons of other shopping on Ben Yehuda, Yafo, and the Machanei Yehuda Shuk.
Ruti & Efraim were most accessible and responsive to our questions and needs, and were a genuine pleasure to deal with. We would love to return to this setting on future visits and highly recommend it.

lovely renovated appartment on first floor with excellent central location. Walking distances: 5 minutes to Ben Yehuda, 10 minutes to the Shuk, 15 minutes to Mea Shearim, 25 minutes to Old City. If with car, note that parking is a challenge.
Close to various synagogues, 7 minutes to Great Synagogue, 5 minutes to Yeshurun, also daily minyan in lower floor of building!
Ephraim and Ruti very helpful. -

LondonWonderful apartment
Left on 05/26/2011 for a stay in April 2011
Spent a lovely Pesach (Passover) week in this beautiful apartment in Rechavia. Ruti and Efrayim were brilliant and went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. The apartment is on the 1st floor (up one short flight of steps) and has a fully equipped kitchen including microwave and a large fridge freezer, tv, wi-fi, aircon and two bathrooms with showers. Plenty of room for a family of four, and for a few nights we managed to squeeze six in, using the double sofa-bed in the living room. The location is perfect, in the heart of Rechavia about 5mns from the Yeshurun synagogue and about 10mns from the nearest supermarket. Ben Yehuda and Yafo are just round the corner and the walk to the Jaffa Gate is about 20mns. Although it's on the corner of Hanagid and Narkiss, the apartment is actually very quiet and Rechavia is a delightful neighbourhood just to stroll around and explore. If you don't feel like patronising one of the larger synagogues, there is a fully-functioning shul in the basement, very friendly and welcoming (but service times are a little unpredictable). We loved the apartment and will return as soon as we can.

The apartment was even better than described. The bedrooms were large, the kitchen very modern and the TV and Wifi were perfect. The neighborhood was great with everything within walking distance-The Old City, synagogues, restaurants,Ben Yehuda,Mahane Yehuda and supermarkets. The owner was very accommodating and the neighbors were great. We highly recommend this apartment and would definitely take it again the next time we are in Israel.

Allentown, PAUnbelievably Great Experience
Left on 07/04/2010 for a stay in June 2010
From the moment we arrived we realized what a wonderful apartment we had rented. It was spacious , clean and provided us tiththe extra things we needed, ie. regarding Kashrut. The location could not be betterand the neighborhood is loveley. Rehavia is one of the nicest in Jerusalem. We were able to walk to the Kotel; we were about ten minutes from Ben Yehuda and neae take out places and wonderful restaurants. I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone looking for place to stay in Jerusalem or a home base for a stay in Israel. Ephraim is very nice to work with.

London, UKPerfect Apartment in Perfect Location
Left on 04/27/2010 for a stay in April 2010
The apartment is on the bottom floor of an old but solid block in a surprisingly peaceful area, given its close proximity to the heart of new Jerusalem. It's only about 5 minutes walk to Ben Yehuda Street and then about another 10 minutes to the Jaffa gate of the Old City. The location could not be any better.
The apartment has been newly renovated, by the owner, to a very high standard. The kitchen is well equipped and has granite work-tops. The furnishings and beds are of good quality and comfortable and there is plenty of storage space.
The two bathrooms (actually shower rooms) are small but luxurious. One is ensuite. The bedrooms are large. The beds are actually singles which can be separate or apart, to suit your preference. The main living and kitchen area is an L shaped room and the apartment is certainly large by Israeli standards.
There is a small balcony overlooking the street and hanging over a small garden (so it actually feels quite secluded). For the more observant there is even a thriving little Shul in the basement of the building.
The apartment is really very well equipped with the owner having provided just about everything you could need, even wifi and a phone. He was friendly and exceptionally helpful.
Car parking on the street at about 5 NIS per hour (from 0800 till 1900) but free at the weekends. The machine just outside the front door allows you to buy tickets for 3 hours in advance. If you're not going to be around to 'feed the meter', there is a car park around the corner in Menora street which charges 45 NIS per 24 hrs.
Despite the quiet neighborhood, you should be aware that Israeli drivers love to use their horns, regardless of the time of day. If you're a light sleeper, you might do well to select the bedroom at the rear of the apartment, which faces a quiet internal courtyard.
We had a very enjoyable stay here and the apartment certainly exceeded all our expectations.
Very highly recommended.
