Great place to stay. Jerusalem from the inside....
The house was very well kept. It was clean and comfortable.
The sofa-bed was not comfortable.
The location near the market was great, and surprisingly quite.
The main disadvantage is lack of parking.
There is a small kitchen. A bathroom with bath tub. Great view from the balcony.
We enjoyed the place.

Central location but quiet and charming
Central location but quiet (ask for a rear Apartment)
Apartment hotel makes you feel at home unlike standard hotel
A few steps from the market - a wide selection of food stores (but not only) and restaurants
The building is located in a beautiful and picturesque neighborhood, and reasonable walking distance from the Old City through the city center
Private vehicles not recommended - better public transportation
The building itself is beautiful, comfortable apartments (there are several sizes), adequately equipped.

Excellent location, close to the biggest Market in Jerusalem and 15 min walk to the Old Town. Extremely helpfull staff, we arrived at 5 a.m. and someone waited for us, they are ready to help in organizing transfer, trips, tickets etc. Apartments are nice, quite big, very clean.

Perfect location in eclectic area of Jerusalem
We stayed in Courtyard Apartments for one week. It was very comfortable, and ideal location just opposite the busy Machane Yehuda , where there are loads of very scrumptious restaurants and bars, Our apartment was facing away from the market, so was quiet at night. We were staying on the first floor, so it was relatively easy for us to take luggage upstairs. However would have been more difficult if we were on third floor.
A great location, very close to the Jerusalem light railway, which takes you to most of the tourist sites.

Quaint stay in alley of Nachlaot across from Makhane Yehuda
Shlomo and Dina made sure everything was in order for our stay. The apartment was clean, comfortable and newly renovated with flowers blooming on the balcony. Location in alleys of Nachlaot across from Makhane Yehuda is quaint.
Clean, private, excellent location, comfortable, well equipped, great value for money, all in all, an amazing experience
The service I received was excellent.
Very convenient homely place.
The location is great. Right by the famous market in Jerusalem. Close to the new Cinema city and central bus station.
Awesome 6 night stay. Directly across from Mahane Yuhuda Market. Walking distance to the old city and to tram. Lovely balcony with beautiful flowers to relax and people watch. Very clean. Avi was most helpful and friendly. Would have been good to have laundry machines and a microwave.
Great Room and Location
We arrived late at night and the directions to use the lockbox to gain access to the keys were perfect. Having a car is a hassle and my suggestion is to drop it in a garage and take cabs or walk. Not all garages are open 24/7...the one I used is just up the block beyond the tall building with the health food store on the same side of the street. Upon arrival I left note as there was no attendant and the next day I came by and the attendant was fine and asked when I arrived.
Our room faced the walkway which was great as it was quiet. The next morning we went to the Machane Yehuda market shopping for groceries. Couldn't be easier. Be sure and visit Marzipan, the bakery on agripas...the rugalach are awesome. We walked and cabbed wherever we went and it was easy to do both.
Check out was easy...turn over the keys to the guy at the first room by the entrance. The only hassle was pulling the car into the alley next to the hotel to retrieve the bags.
All in all it was a great place and we would certainly return.

Old Jerusalem, historic area, with outstanding comfort and care.
The caretaker, Solomon, was extremely helpful and kind. Thank you for being a tourist guide to my husband and I.
The old Jewish charm, and architecture with a center indoor courtyard was far better than somewhere cold and modern.
The central location,on the bus route, close to the tram and a doable walking distance to the Old City, added plus---next door to Makhane Yehuda a fun open air market--.Fruits, vegetables meat and fish first class and because we had a kitchen we cut down on the cost of food.Parking was in a side street close by, and we got acquainted with a fun bunch of Parking attendants.
The only drawback was the noise on the street, but earplugs are cheap.
Nice apartment in a lively and beautiful neighbourhood
We had a very good time in one of the rooftop studios. Especially Shlomo, one of our hosts, was a real asset to our stay.

A magnificent quite island near the crowded hurt of Jerusalem
Nice and clean apartment at an amazing location (we stayed at the side facing Nachlaot).
a great place to travel a tour the hurt and center of Jerusalem.
Parking may be an issue (ask the owner for tips).
Very nice stay!
Very nice and charming place! Well located, perfect to visit the old and new city by foot.

A very nice place to stay in Jerusalem
The Market Courtyard is a warm place to stay in Jerusalem. The hotel is next to many amenities and touristic places: central bus station, Mahane Yehuda market, Ben Yehuda street, Mea Shearim, etc.
Many bus lines allow to reach other neighbours and points of interest: Western Wall and Old City, malls in Malha and Ramot, etc.
Besides, Shlomo and Dina were at diligent to answer questions before the trip and providing help and assistance during the stay.
I strongly advise the Market Courtyard as hotel for Jerusalem visitors.
un séjour très agréable
Très bien situé, Le Marché Courtyard est un endroit très agréable pour séjourner à Jérusalem. Le rapport qualité-prix est parfait.

More bad than good.
The Market Courtyard is a guesthouse rather than a hotel and worthy only of a lower rating than the 8.5 it had when I chose it. They do not accept credit cards so be prepared. They have no signage; only the street number above a door indicated where you were and that was even wrong as the entrance was the next door! We and another family had to wait outside 15 minutes in the cold February rain after having to go to a nearby business to ask for help to find the proprietor. We had to carry bags up 3 flights of stairs to our room. No shampoo, no iron, no house phone. We bumped our heads on the low sloped bedroom ceiling several times.
On the positive side, we really like the location in regards to the part of town directly across from the busy market for which the guesthouse must be named. The tram to the old city and beyond was also very close by on the other side of the market. Other fun shopping, dining and strolling areas were also nearby making the area of this guesthouse excellent ! Read more

Dear Curtis -
I am sorry you had not enjoyed your experience at The Market Courtyard.
We indeed are not a full service hotel and are defined as Vacation Apartments. This is clearly stated is in all our listings including booking.com which you had reserved with.
We do not have 24 hour reception, this is also stated in our listing on booking.com. It is also stated to contact us for arrival details for just this reason.
Because of this we provide our guests with entrance codes so they can help themselves in and not need to wait.
I send an email to all our guests with this important arrival information 7 days prior to their arrival.
This email was sent to you on Feb.9th.
This email contained the code for the gate and the code for the safe where your key was waiting for you.
I must conclude that you did not have this information with you when you arrived and unfortunately had to wait outside. Once again I apologize for the inconvenience.
We do have an Iron and hairdryer and would have been glad to supply them to you if you had asked.
(Please do let me know if you requested these items from our staff and were turned down).
Regarding payment - it is stated on booking.com that we accept cash only. However we can provide credit card solutions through online services such as paypal or flipkey and would have been happy to arrange this if you would have requested it.
This is stated in our arrival information email as well as in your apartment in the instruction sheet on the table.
Regarding signage - we are in the process of making a new sign and i hope it will be installed shortly.
The Market Courtyard is a beautiful home away from home.
The Market Courtyard is a beautiful little oasis in the center of the city. It is on agripas Street across from the Yehuda Market, which is the no. 1 market in the city. Our top-floor corner apartment had all the comforts of home, plus two balconies. It was clean, well-furnished, and smartly laid out, with closet space and room enough for a family. My only regret was that we didn't have more time. The owners are wonderful people and took care to make sure our arrival and departure went smoothly.
Great location near Mahane Yehuda market
Bedroom nice and dark and pretty quiet; living room, if used as 2nd bedroom, would have been noisy.
Owner and on-site manager both very nice.
A bit too much noise in courtyard from weekend guests.

a relaxing and perfect located place to stay in Jerusalem
The staff was great, responded on every question, very friendly and always available. The apartment was clean, spacious, good bed and sofabed. The kitchenette was good and livingroom very good. The location was great! across the road there was the mahane Yehuda,2 minutes walk to tram, 15 minutes to jaffagate.
We really want to stay here again!
Great location and costemer servies
It was wonderful holiday and we recommend to all the ages to come and spend time in this place

Great location and hospitality
We enjoyed staying at the Market Courtyard. It was a great location and good accommodations.
Wonderful view of neighborhood, great location, attentive proper
We recommend the Market Courtyard as an exciting place to stay when visiting Jerusalem. It is clean, very comfortable and secure. Our room had a balcony overlooking the picturesque neighborhood of Nachlaot where we could view the sunsets over Jerusalem and hear the sounds of the area which were very special as Shabbat was approaching.
We loved being across the street from the "shuk", Machane Yeduda, the market of Jerusalem where vendors sell fresh fruits and vegetables, delicious pastries and just about every food you might want. I became a fan of the Israeli salad dressing of lemon juice and olive oil which I made in the room to serve with fresh lettuce from the Market. Never have I tasted such a delicious lemon!
The buses stop right in front of the Market Courtyard so transportation is easy. The light-rail is only a block away. It is a five minute walk to King George Street and stores of Ben Yehuda. There are many synagogues in the neighborhood.
Shlomo, the resident manager, was helpful in every way both with checking in, recommendations and other services. We were leaving when the snowstorm of December 2013 began and were having difficulty finding a way to Tel aviv. Shlomo worked tirelessly to help us find a taxi to Tel aviv.
We look forward to return to the Market Courtyard on our next trip to Jerusalem. Perfect place to stay. A great combination of a hotel and an apartment.
Fabulous place to stay!
We really enjoyed our stay at the Market Courtyard.
The apartments are clean, roomy and comfortable.
The staff was very helpful in making taxi arrangements when we
needed it, including pick up from the airport.
The location is outstanding -- close to buses and the train.
Best of all it is right across the street from the large market
filled with fresh fruits, bakery goods, foods, candy and alcohol!
Would stay again and have already recommended it to family going
to Jerusalem in February!
it's a beautiful place, clean, with great location. Personel is very helpful. Our stay was superb! we'll be back for sure!
Nice, friendy and homey
great location. friendly and helpful staff. beautiful view from balcony. perfect location next to market. homey and warm atmosphere.
Great location, spacious and very nice!
These are really nice self catering apartments. Much better than I expected with very friendly care taking staff. The location is good, in easy walking distance of the old city but you can take a tram if you like. The rooms are very good with all the amenities you need and much bigger than I expected. The caretaker looked after our luggage on our last day and really they could not have been more helpful.
Cleanliness: very clean and organized
staff: Very kind and efficient
Price: Overpriced when comparing to real hotels.
Cleane, beautiful, great location.
We will surly visit again very soon.
Liked the location & the architecture.
The pleasent owners.
The right place to stay at Jerusalem
It's the right place to stay at Jerusalem - it's on the centre of old Jerusalem, 20 min. walking to the Jaffa gates of the walls of the ancient old Jerusalem, the market is just opposite the hotel, where you can buy all fruits, italian cheeses and even have a fresh fish for a supper and for good price (at Jerusalem). The only thing you should know, that it's hard to find the hotel - it's street only 50 metres simultaneously agrippus St., look for the entrance of the market first and tnen for the arch opposite.
comfortable stay in a centered location
We stayed there for 3 nights and would love to came back again. Nice quiet pedestrian street next to bustling Jaffa and market areas. withing walking distance to many attraction, Old City, tram stop etc. Extremly helpful and friendly stuff.
A good stay and a good place.

Well furnished, comfortable and clean. Management wonderful to work with, kind and helpful. On premise management with lots of ideas and information, solutions to questions.
Location delightful, charming and staying in an area of much history of early Jerusalem.
Walking distance to all major historical sites.
The Shuk (Market) right across the street with amazing food.
Great location and facilities
From our arrival to our departure, the staff was very helpful and friendly. Our room with à view on the Market was great. Easy access to public transportation to get us around the city. We enjoyed very much our stay and do recommend The Market Courtyard to future visitors of Jérusalem.
excellent value, good location
Good place - nice, comfortable, center. Near market and old city.
Very local and in the city center
I really love the location of the Market Coutyard, just opposite the market. We could easily buy a lot of fruits and food, and cook in our kitchen on Sukkot and Shabbat.
House is stylish and room is big. I love the patio. If the decoration of washroom a little bit more morden, it will be perfect!
Live like a local in a hip location
Great place to stay, charming and helpful staff, the apartment is bigger than I expected it to be and very comfortable. Across the street from the main market in the centre of town with all bus routes just through a little alleyway. It has a
Moroccan ambiance with balconies and inner courtyard, stone steps , all beautifully clean and well maintained.A real feeling of home, nice place to relax, also easy to cook in,the kitchen facility easy to use .I look forward to my next visit.
Living in the city
Finding the hotel might be an adventure in itself, dont be discouraged, its excellent and charming. From the charming and professional service to the location right in the center of the city. Right across from the city market "The Shuk" with hundreds of small stalls selling fresh fruit, meat, vegetables, bread and everything else.

A Peaceful Oasis In Jerusalem
In the middle of Jerusalem's hustle and bustle the Market Courtyard is a peaceful oasis, a true home away from home. I enjoyed two months of rest in this lovely place. Just steps away from the Jewish market and within walking distance to all important sites, it's central location is a great asset. The staff is exceptionally helpful.. even providing laundry service and will clean your apartment once a week. The kitchenettes are fully supplied with cooking utensils and everything is sparkling clean. I will recommend this unique place to my friends and family back in the USa. It was my best Israel experience yet...definitely five stars!!

Perfect location, great accommodations
We loved The Market Courtyard! It is a beautifully renovated building with modern touches in a perfect location of Jerusalem. The beds were very comfortable, the bathrooms were clean and the living area was spacious. It is located so close to Machane Yehuda where we bought fresh rolls, danish, vegetables and fruits for breakfast each morning. It is two blocks from the light rail which made it easy to reach The Old City, the City Center and some museums. We recommend it and would stay there again!

To stay at this place was a great experience! Great location, very clean and very well kept. Great service and unbelievable surroundings ! Right next to the Yehuda Market with fresh fruit, vegetables and food. A lot of restaurants in the area and a place people want to see! Not too far to walk to the old city or take the tram. The people in charge of the place do everything to help you and make your stay comfortable. Amazing area if you are interested in Jewish history. A lot of information about Jewish people than lived in this area during earlier times.

A Jerusalem gem!
We loved our stay at The Market Courtyard. It was the perfect for our group of 12 consisting of 3 generations of our family. We stayed in 4 units for 4 days. The staff is genuinely friendly and helpful. The impeccably clean and efficiently air-conditioned apartments are comfortable and tastefully decorated. The kitchens are useful and the showers are wonderful. We immediately felt at home.
The courtyard's old world character is a charming respite in bustling Jerusalem. The three stories of new apartments all face in to view the courtyard. We enjoyed our morning coffee at café tables while planning busy days and returned in evenings to enjoy good conversation and over a bottle of wine. It's romantic, quiet and peaceful with beautiful potted trees and plants and Jerusalem stone walls. We felt as if we were in the countryside and easily forgot we were in the heart of the city. The serene little nook perfectly balanced our days.
The location is excellent for touring Jerusalem and central to attractions. The historic neighborhood and the Mahane Yehuda Market give you an authentic Jerusalem experience. The light rail was convenient for our group; ages ranging 6 - 79. We all enjoyed purchasing from the huge bins of fresh fruits, nuts and breads in the Shuk. There are also many good restaurants nearby to choose from and the kind folks in the office were always happy to supply a list of recommendations. We highly recommend a great coffee and pastry shop for to-go breakfast - exit from the alley to the street, turn right and it a bit down on the right...I think it is "Mafa Naman" (sign is Hebrew without vowels) - with a red canopy on the front. A few days we enjoyed lunches bought from the Shuk and tried many falafel. Our group voted the falafel stand directly across from Kippah Man's shop on the right at the Market entrance as the best.
Our stay was wonderful and we would not change a thing. We are looking forward to returning on our next vacation in Jerusalem.
The owners went out of their way to make our stay memorable in every way. We had issues coming in late and leaving late. The staff did all they could to accomodate and help every step of the way.
Amazing location, amazing apartments, amazing view from the multiple balconies. If I ever find myself back in Jerusalem, I wouldn't even think of staying anywhere else.

Wonderful family stay with 2 children
Our family stayed for 10 days in Jerusalem, this location was absolutely perfect. Better than we could have imagined...clean, beautiful, in a safe area, an easy walk to food and with very friendly people! We already miss the quiet mornings on the balcony...Our family will be coming back and staying with you again soon!
A perfect place, in every aspect. Rekommenderas varmt!
Experience the Garden of Eden in Jerusalem
The Market Courtyard apartments are in a great location just around the corner from Machane Yehuda - great for fresh breads in the morning. It is within walking distance of all central Jerusalem. Come home from a busy day of sightseeing to the quiet and flowers of the balcony or courtyard. Dina is very warm and welcoming and stays in touch both before your stay and during it. The rooms are clean, modern and comfortable. I highly recommend it!!
A really good stay
Very good contact with the owner, excellent check in instructions, clean and spacious. Nice street and easy access to bus station (10 minutes walk) and the old town (20 minutes walk). The market is just across the street and it offeres a great experience incl. nice small places with great food for breakfast, lunch or dinner.
Exactly what we wanted
These apartments are situated in a lovely quiet area of Jerusalem, and a stones throw from one of the most vibrant Markets I've ever been to...think Borough Market in London but bigger, cheaper and more varied (dare I say better?). The apartment was spacious clean and well equipped. I'll be back.
great location in Jerusalem
we really enjoyed the apartment. was a great location and good facilities . would recommend this to anyone needing a place from which to tour Jerusalem.
West Palm Beach FL & Singapore
Great place. Great space. Great location. Great people
A large modern 1 BR apartment, simply yet comfortably furnished, self-controlled central heat/AC, super restoration of a very old building incl double glazed window glass for comfort & quiet. Dina and her #1 staff Shlomo are helpful & gracious too.
Nice kitchen & dining area; balconies, the flavor of a real neighborhood. Eat in the shuk or anywhere; bring back left overs. Buy in the shuk & cook for yourself if you wish.
Seconds from buses/taxis; truly 5 minutes walk easy for anybody even with limitations to the light rail system & King David Street for unending shopping.
Across the street from Mahane Yehuda, a bustling shuk/market full mostly with locals and easy for non-Hebrew speakers that offers fruit, veggies, milk, meat, fish, both fresh and prepared. Add sweets, nuts, you name it.
The high security front entry system is easy to use after one try if not the first time. An easy to walk up a flight of old stone stairs brings you to a splendid internal courtyard with direct access to your apartment. Dina made sure we know about the steps; her understated description of the courtyard and high quality
restoration left us very pleasantly surprised.
It took us an hour to transition from thinking 'hotel' to appreciating apartment! Soap, towels in the nicely appointed bathroom, but no little shampoos, conditioners and the like. Plates, cutlery, pot, pan, utensils, perfect counter top oven, dish soap, fine Israeli 'butz' coffee, tea + electric kettle for boiling water.
Quiet and very private + moments from all the activity we wanted.
We chose a larger unit facing a little park and homes vs facing agripas Street & the shuk not knowing what to expect since agripas is busy. Next time we will choose to agripas side, a smaller unit because agripas is not noisy most of the time and rental/room cost is less.
Highly recommended unless you need to be waited on hand & foot 24/7

Great place to stay in jerusalem!
I really enjoyed my stay at The Market Courtyard. There is a wonderful feeling to the place, a fully renovated old building, the rooms are spacious, comfortable and furnished in good, modern taste. And there is nothing like being next to the market in the unique, historic Nachlaot neighborhood.

Fine apartment in excellent location
We were delighted with our choice of Market Courtyard for our one-week visit to Jerusalem. Dina, the owner, and Shlomo, the caretaker, were very quick to respond whenever we needed help or advice. The property consists of about 18 apartments on three floors facing an open inner courtyard. It gives the feeling of a quiet secluded space just across the street from Jerusalem's main bustling open market. (The "shuk"). It's also just a block away from a stop on the light train line, so we consider it in an excellent location.
The apartment itself is modern and pleasant. It isn't terribly big, but was certainly adequate for the two of us. The two-burner electric stove and toaster oven worked for preparing breakfast and a couple of light suppers, but don't plan on serious cooking. Given the large number of restaurants of all sizes in the immediate neighborhood, and the availability of fresh and cooked foods in the market across the street, we felt the kitchen was perfectly fine for our needs. The eating space in the kitchen is next to two large arched windows, providing a delightful sunny spot. One of the windows is actually a door that opens on to a small balcony with table and two chairs, which we found perfect for breakfast and lunch. Our apartment was facing the small street in back of the building. I don't know if the apartments on the other side facing the bustling market street would feel the same. We did notice that one of the corner apartments were considerably larger than ours. You might ask Dina about that when you book. Other big pluses for us were: free wi-fi, a nice powerful warm shower, comfortable air-conditioning, and comfortable bedding.
We haven't had any other experience renting apartments in Jerusalem, but we wouldn't hesitate to go back to Market Courtyard. Highly recommended.
New York, NY
Great location, great place, great staff
I stayed here for a month while working and vacationing in Jerusalem. Overall a fantastic experience for several reasons, including:
- Excellent location: across from the Shuk (awesome), near several bus lines, the light rail, 5-10 minute walk to Ben Yehuda street and nearby bars, and a 20-25 minute walk to the old city. The staff is fantastic and very accommodating, and reply quickly to emails and concerns.
- No Surprises: Everything was as described on the site, and Dina was great with answering questions and making everything easy.
- Everything you need for your stay is in the unit (dishes, linens, etc.)
Other than that:
- Don't bring a car, difficult to park (I didnt have one but friends couldn't park easily) - not a problem for me though
- Slightly more expensive than other options, but for what you get the price is very reasonable (cheaper places are far and away less quality than what you get here)
I would definitely recommend people staying In Jerusalem (especially for longer than just a few days) stay here. I will stay here again next time I go back.
We felt like part of the neighbourhood...
We recently spent a week at the Market Courtyard in Jerusalem. Typically, we have stayed at more "traditional" hotels on past trips. The Market Courtyard is a different experience. It immerses you in the hustle and bustle of the neighbourhood that is centered around the Machane Yehuda (largest market in Jerusalem) which we loved. This hotel is apartment-style with a wonderful courtyard which all of the apartments open into. We often had breakfast in the courtyard and met other guests from around the world. Dina and Shlomo took care of us like we were family. We look forward to our next visit to the Market Courtward.
The best place we ve ever stayed in Jerusalem
From the beginning of our search, Dina was helpful and always available. The apartment was new and clean. It was roomy and the balcony was a plus. The location was perfect, right across from machane yehuda and convenient to buses and the tram. The inner courtyard was great for sharing meals with our family members who were also staying at the Market Courtyard as well as meeting other guests. We would definetly return!
Perfect location in Jerusalem
My first time in Jerusalem, with my 20 yr old daughter. We stayed in a nice one bedroom apartment with a fold out living room coach - important with my daughter. We had an excellent view looking down to the Mahane Yehuda Market, with easy access to a lovely breakfast, fruit stands, and vendors. Dina and staff are great. They had a really positive attitude and were welcoming. Dina recommended very good local restaurants. We could easily walk to the old city and the apartment is close to the lite rail. We would stay here again without a doubt.
Everything was easy and perfect!
Everything is new, and clean. Fully equipped kitchen. Good Hot Water System. New TV, A great location with buses and taxi's nearby... although you can walk to most places in Center City and the Old City from here if you want. Machne Yehuda, the largest street market, is across the street, which makes it easy to fill your fridge. At night there is often music... with several restaurants open late. The staff is very attentive to your needs... the beds are comfortable, and there is air conditioning... something you really need in the summer in Jerusalem. The courtyard gives you the feeling of a traditional Jerusalem apartment...with lovely plants and flowers. Our apartment had two balconies... great for a breeze... and for people watching in Machne Yehudah! I had a little problem with the stairs... because I have a bad knee. I should have asked for an apartment on the first floor!!! There are three floors of apartments, so keep the stairs in mind if climbing stairs is a problem for you.
I would recommend this place. Although we only had 2 people staying in this large corner apartment, I think you could easily stay there with up to six people... if you spend most of your time out of the apartment!
Good address for the Stay in Jerusalem
Comfortable place to stay - modern, clean and secure apartment in
a nice and quiet neighbourhood close to everything.
Friendly service & staff.
Very good value for the money.
I simply cannot imagine a better place to stay in Jerusalem: convenient, tidy, silent, nice. Modern furniture, proper equipment, plenty of room to live and rest. Moreover, Dina helps in whatever you need about visiting Jerusalem.
The quarter is one of the most typical in the city, and the market a true show in its own. The photographs are accurate to what I saw, by the way.
Wonderful Stay in Jerusalem
My boyfriend and I spend a beautiful 3 nights in Dina's apartment this past week. We could not have asked for a better location, right across from the Shuk, a short walk from Ben Yehuda street, and close to the Old City. We arrived early on a Monday morning and both her and Shlomo were more then accommodating, allowing us to leave our luggage before our room was ready as we explored the city. The apartment was even more charming than the photo's depicted it. We would highly recommend this apartment to others staying in Jerusalem. Dina was great with responding to any questions we had and making our stay pleasurable.
Great place to stay in Jerusalem!
New apartments in a restored building with charming atmosphere. We stayed in a studio, which was all that was available when we booked and worried that the apartment would be too small, but it was just fine for the two of us. We loved the location near Machane Yehuda market where we bought fresh bourekas and pastries for breakfast every morning. Everything was very comfortable. Both Dina, the owner and Shlomo, the manager were very helpful. Highly recommended!

Excellent place in Jerusalem
I was very pleased with the quality and the service of the appartment. Everything you always wanted when away from home is available. The owner is nice and charming, the concierge is a very amiable and helpful person. The location is superbe, close to shops, restaurants, food market etc. Also close to synagogues, orthodox and progressive alike. It's a very short walk to the city centre and also to the Old City. There is a parking centre close by ( 2 minutes walk). The location is quiet at night and vivid during the day because it's a pedestrian area.

We stayed 5 nights in Market Coutyard and it was define!
Perfect, modern, nicely decorated, quiet, clean, nice caretaker, absolute 5 star!
Perfect location near Mahane Yehuda market (you can get your breakfast or dinner ingredients around the corner)!
Walking distance to old city (and if you do not like walking even shorter to the light rail on Jaffa Rd).
So in other words, just perfect and we would recommend anyone to stay here!
Very nice and friendly people at the apartments and personnel.
Very convenient accommodation
The building faces Mahane Yehuda market which is an attraction for itself and this gives an opportunity to see and to participate in vibrant daily life around the market. The place is within walking distance (10-15 minutes) from the central bus station and from the city center and the old city. Many bus lines stop exactly in front of the buidling in the agripa street and the tram line along the Jaffa street is just a few minutes away. The personnel is very kind and friendly.
Apartments facing Mahane Yehuda market may be noisy for some people; in that case I would suggest those on the side of Ha-Carmel street.
The entrance to the building is from Ha-Carmel street which is very small and not accessible by car. This is not a problem at all when one knows the surrounding area but it may cause some confusion when one comes for the first time.

Very comfortable and private place in the center of Jerusalem
We lived in one-bedroom apartment with sitting-room and kitchen (two in one room). The location is very convinient - 20 minutes walk to Old City, or 3 minutes by taxi. The bus stop is near by. The apartment is situated near the Central Market, so you can cook green-stuff and other nice meal by yourself, saving a lot of money. At the same time the place is very calm and private, you feel as if you live in your own house in the center of very lovely small city. The apartment is in very good condition, very clean and all fascilities are available, even tableware and electric oven. What did we like the best was very friendly and helpful relation of the Market Courtyard management and staff. We highly recommend this apartment to people, who want to enjoy their stay in Jerusalem.

Lovely apartment in a great Jerusalem neighborhood that met 99%
Loved the apartment and price. Location and amenities were great. Liked the everything about the apartment and courtyard. Security lock was a hassle at times.
The key should have been left in a envelope with our name on it.Suggest you start doing it.
Would have preferred to pay in person by credit card, not on the Internet.
We will return to stay there again.

Thanks! We started using personal envelopes for the keys the next day!
We are indeed working on getting credit card payment available but this may take some time.
Looking forward to welcoming you on your next stay!
My wife and I stayed here for a few days in March. Everything about the apartment was excellent. We loved the location across from the Shuk, and we were able to walk to many great Jerusalem sites, including the Old City, Ben Yehuda St., and the German Colony (30+ minutes away). The apartment itself was immaculately clean, had modern amenities, great balcony, and a comfortable bed. We also found the owner, Dina, to be very kind, and the booking process was very easy. All this, plus the great value made this apartment a perfect choice for us. I highly recommend staying here.
Great place to stay in Jerusalem
Everything was fine: Dina and Shlomo were very kind, the size of the apartment was correct, very nice building, the neighbourhood very quiet but next to the main market...The only problem was that the television didn't work. I recommend asking for the south-facing apartments, much more quieter than the others and sunny all day long.
good apartment at this price
convenient and comfortable apartments. The only minus was the problem with Parking around
