Lovely apartment in really lovely location. Very modern and clean. Comfortable bed.
Lauren was very easy to deal with and prompt in her response.
All modern amenities but no washing or iron - the manager has a dry cleaning service though so you can wash your clothes through him but it is not budget cleaning. -

I booked this apartment for my mom who is in her 80's. From my first encounter with Lauren (who responded to my inquiry) until the month later when we returned the key to avi, every single thing was pleasant and pleasurable. The apartment is in a perfect location-a short walk to Emek Refaim and all the buses leading to everywhere, and a short walk in the other direction to Dereh Beit Lehem and all of the fun shops, restaurants, and lively urban feeling. The apartment is in tip-top condition-remodeled in a beautiful way. My mom could not have been happier and appreciated the kindness of Lauren and avi whenever she needed anything. Thank you!

I spent wonderfull hollydays in Jerusalem and certainlly what made me happier and more satified was to have found this charming and confortable flat in Baka! It's exactly like the pictures and even more. It's exactly how I was waiting!
A., L. and G. are such lovelly peaple and they did all possible to make me feel at home. And so did I! It's a few minutes from Emek Refain, where you find supermarket, shops and all kind of restaurants.
I recommend this flat to all who seek tranquility and don't want to give up comfort and social life.

The listing is just how I remembered it. It was perfectly clean and well maintained. The owner and manger were both nice, thoughtful, and very helpful. I would recommend this apartment because it is nice, it has "location, location, location" and because the manager and owner are so helpful. It's better service than at most hotels! I hadn't even left yet when I started recommending this apartment to us. Nearby, there are the shops, restaurants, and cafes of Baqa and The German Quarter which have been described as "trendy" but don't let that mislead you: they aren't just trendy, there are a wealth of *very good* restaurants there. Also within a quick walk is the Haas Promenade with stunning views of the Old City, the Mt. of Olives, Mt. Scopes, the Kidron Valley, The Temple Mount, the City of David, and a panorama of Jerusalem. For Jewish visitors, this neighborhood has an embarrassment of riches regarding interesting synagogues of all kinds to attend. It is a quick cab ride to the Old City, to downtown, or even to the Israel Museum/Knesset/Hebrew University area. Enough different bus lines to get you everywhere are just steps away. This is a perfect place to park your car and use as a base of operations or sightseeing in Jerusalem or anywhere else the bus or train can take you, because you can avoid for-pay parking, park right in front of your place, and at the same time avoid the horrors of Jerusalem driving. The apartment keeps itself a comfortable temperature, has a refreshing shower, a super comfortable Tempurpedic Bed and a lot of channels on the TV, and Wifi. It is quiet. You might hear an occasional bump that a house-dweller might not be used to, but as apartments go, it is super, super quiet. The price is competitive too, but even if you had to pay a premium, this would be worth it for many reasons. I can't wait to go back to Jerusaelm, and when I do, I hope I can grab this place again
