Jimbaran is just south of the airport and Kuta. This was formerly a real backwater of south Bali, just a tiny fishing village with a daily market. That all started to change in the 1980s and Jimbaran is now home to several world class 5 star beach resorts such as the Four Seasons, Intercontinental, Jimbaran Puri Bali and Ayana Resort. The villa is located in a very quite area behind the majestic Jimbaran temple and 300 meter to Jimbaran beach, considered one of the best beaches in Bali.

We stayed at the Mango Tree Villas in Summer 2011.
The villa was beautiful - decorated and furnished to a very high standard and with a secluded pool and garden! A great place to unwind after a day out.
The villas are within a small village - so great to see the local people and culture. It's a few minutes walk from the beach which is vast and very quiet. Although I would recommend visiting the east of the island too for the crystal clear waters (we went to Virgin Beach which I think was in amed, where, in our opinion, we ate the best bbq'ed fish in Bali).
The daily breakfast was lovely and the staff were excellent.
Overall we had a fantastic holiday at the Mango Tree Villas.
(Just to note: I was also a little bit worried at transferring money directly to the owner, as I have been used to going through an agent, however there were no problems with this at all. My holiday in the villa mango tree were very beautiful.
I could stay on my own. I could relax. They have a good service, nice personnel, a clean and very beautiful villa and gardenarea. I could enjoy it.
