rockingham western australiaA home away from home!
Left on 12/20/2012 for a stay in December 2012
We stayed in the house for 1 week and it was just bliss!!! Sari was more than accommodating for everything that we needed. She was always just a phone call away as she leaves you with a mobile phone to take with you.
The house is well set out and well equip. The stairs are very steep!!! this is not a criticism at all but if travelling with young ones like we did it did mean we had to block the stairs off. The children loved the pool. There was still a lot of construction happening but it didn't go late into the night so was very bare able . I do recommend having a driver if traveling with a family bigger than what can go in a taxi as the shopping is a good car ride away, but saying that there are a few restaurants open for breakfast or the Four Seasons does let you go over there to eat and their breakfast is divine!!! The mozzies are very bad so take plenty of repellant and spray the rooms each time you come home ( Sari provides spray for you).
We would defiantly stay again, in fact we are thinking of booking the White house next time just for a little more space.
Thank you for a wonderful holiday Sari and staff !!! -

Sydney, AustraliaThe Right Choice
Left on 11/02/2012 for a stay in July 2012
We have been to Bali numerous times but have never stayed at Jimbaran. We were not disappointed with our choice. There were so many positives about this villa. Firstly, the delightful Sari was welcoming and informative. She arranged a great car for us to hire while we were at the villa, personally I think this is the best and cheapest way to get around the island. A variety of seafood restaurants were just across the road. The villa was well equiped and the welcome package was much appreciated. This is a fabulous choice in Jimbaran at a bargain price.

Sydney, AustraliaFantastic

We have just come back from 3 week in this lovely villa & have to say we had a ball. Sari & the staff go out of their way to help you with what ever your needs are. Wheather it be arranging motor cycle hire, tours, explaining up & coming events happening in Bali that you would not see on tour brochures. There is construction going on at the moment which can't be helped & everyone staying around the area has to put up with it. But as the saying goes location, location, location. You can't beat it here. You walk out the villa & 50 metres & you're on the beach. No crowds like Kuta, just a beautiful white sandy beach. At night on the other hand this place comes alive with people coming from near & far to go to the famous Jimbaran Seafood restaurants. You have it right on your doorstep & better still once you go back to your villa you don't hear a thing. Give Sari's villa a go you will enjoy.

AustraliaWe have already booked again
Left on 06/05/2012 for a stay in May 2012
We found this place whilst planning our Bali trip and are so glad we did. We booked the Jimbaran beach residence based on both the location and the photos that we saw on the Internet. We knew that the location was good near the seafood restaurants and that Sari had good reviews but we had no idea how good this place was before we got there. Sari and her staff were so wonderful. You could tell that they wanted to make our stay the best it could possibly be.
The breakfast that was cooked was the best we had in Bali. The accommodation is beautiful; this place and the location is like no other.
We enjoyed ourselves so much that we immediately booked this for my birthday. -

I stayed with my 3 children and a friend for 5 nights. Sari gave us a mobile phone to use during the stay and was available 24/7 to help in anyway which she did promptly and happily, I really felt like she was eager to assist and that we were valued clients, nothing was a problem and she catered to our every wish and request at a moments notice.
All the staff were helpful and there was a lovely driver who took us where we wanted to go for $60 000 rp/ hour which is the going rate. The kids loved the pool and the DVD player and could walk across to the beach easily.
The best food we had in Bali was at the resturant attatched to the " Bali Baliku villas" which are at the other end of the car park to this villa on the same side of the road, I wish I had have known about it at the beginning of my stay.
I ate at two of the seafood resturants (Roma Cafe and Lei Lei seaside barbeque) directly across from the villa but didnt think they were all that fantastic, sitting on the beach watching the sun set was pretty good however
We went into Kuta a few times however it took 45 - 55 minutes in the traffic when early in the morning it only takes 15 -20 minutes. Ask the driver to take Bypass Road and stop at the three surf factory outlets in a few hundred meters on the way to Kuta and the Hawaii Bali on the opposite side of the Road while going back from Kuta. They are fixed price shops and had great stuff like the surf shops had real quicksilver T shirts for around $7 to 10 aUD, flat hats for $5 and rusty hand bags for $8. The Hawaii Bali shop had bali T shirts for 17500 RP and also cheap wood carvings (21000 RP), linen, key rings and heaps of other tourist stuff at the best prices i found in Bali..all with no one hasseling you!
The noise from the construction site is really quite bad especially seeing the drilling with a jack hammer starts as early as 7 am and one night was still going after 11pm. Once this construction is finished this accomodation would be the best but I personally wouldn't stay again until the new resort is completed.
The other down side was I wanted to pay the total amount due before I arrived to save hassel but Sari refused to let me, insisting I pay the balance on arrival.
I am only writing the negatives as this is the sort of information I wish I had of been informed of before I booked and hope it helps someone make an informed decision.
Thanks Sari for a wonderful holiday and your warm genuine hospitality we hope to return one day. -

The good:
Sari, the owner, couldn't have been more accommodating. The place was filled with nice little touches, very close to beach and seafood restaurants, very comfortable and good value
The Bad:
Lots of mosquito, place smells a bit foisty (not the end of the world! stairs leading to bedroom likely to kill you if you have wet feet or have had one too many Bintangs!
The Ugly:
Le Meridien is building right behind the property, which is an eye sore and you can hear the workers banging away from quite early in the morning. This was May 2012 and I would suspect building work will continue for several more months
all in all a good stay, none of the negative points I mention are deal breakers in my eyes, i just mention them so people can make an informed decision. -

The photo's of this villa do not do it justice. Beautifully appointed double rooms, spacious dining, kitchen, and living rooms. Private, walled garden with outdoor seating and pool. Excellent location in jimbaran, 20 yards to the beach and seafood restaurants on the doorstep. The only disappointment was the entrance from the public beach cafe's car park. The staff were amazingly attentive and all my needs were met. I would definitely stay again and have recommended it to both friends and family.

We are a group of 7 and were very happy to find this place. Sari, the owner, was so gracious to let us use her newly renovated ancestral home for a very reasonable price. She was so helpful and personable making sure that we fitted comfortably in the 3 bedroom residence. She provided 2 cars to pick us up at the airport for free and she also personally went with her driver to help us transfer our luggage to the second hotel at Kuta Beach. The service provide by her was so personal, you really feel well taken care of. She had nice smiling staffs providing housekeeping. The residence does not have a house phone but she provided a cell phone for us to use locally whenever we have a question or need housekeeping service. She promptly respond to any calls we made.
The residence has a touch of Balinese style decor, utensils provided in case you wanted to eat inside the house, 2 full bathrooms, a clean pool, free filtered drinking water from the dispenser and beach towels. The residence has a great location in Jimbaran, it's right at the back of the famous row of Jimbaran Beach seafood restaurants, walking distance to the beach front and located next to Intercon Hotel. There are a lots of +++ to this rental.
The only drawback I would say is all bathrooms are located downstairs and all bedrooms are upstairs which means you have to walk downstairs every time you need to use the bathroom so this house might not be suitable if you are traveling with an elderly person. Minor issues, I noticed there are no mirrors in all the bedrooms, maybe Sari can add mirror to be able to check your outfit before heading out. Also, an extra which a lot of hotels don't have anyways is there's a portable safe provided; however it is not screwed to the wall and is located inside a closet that is not lockable. All said this is a place I would definitely recommend.

The service was outstanding and Sari would have gone out of her way to do anything for us. The accomodation was very comfortable and clean and the pool was an added bonus.
The location was short driving distance to Kuta main shops and perfect for anyone looking for a quiet alternative.
The best was the accomodation , and its location , we planned on having a relaxing holiday and when we were out of the hustle and bustle of Kuta,Jimbaran beach house was perfect and i must also add it was very secure and private . -

We stayed here for one month with three children and had an amazing time. We were sad to say goodbye to the beautiful Sari. Nothing was too hard. Nestled in between the Four Seasons and Intercontinental sees the price of some restaurants slightly higher than other areas, but there is plenty of transport around to take you to other areas, and the local warung has very nice people and food. About a five minute walk away is a lovely italian restaurant called Peppenero,, great food and fantastic views. I would recommend this to anybody looking to stay in Jimbaran.

Hi, We stayed in the 3 bedroom villa with the private pool for 8 days. I am so glad we didn't book into one of those hotels in Kuta. This unit has everything you are looking for...Peace and quite, the sound of the waves rolling in, Close to great cafes and restaurants, Yet only minutes to airport , the hussle and bussle of Kuta, and best of all across the road to the best beaches in Bali!!!
The Owner (Sari) and her staff have done a great job with the renovation of these holiday villas. Also nothing is of trouble to them, You just need to ask and they will help you with your needs.
The unit has all the modern amenities of a five star resort as well as a full kitchen if you wish to eat in. (the fish and vegie markets are up the beach about 1 klm towards the airport,an easy ride on our motor bike). Cleaning of the unit and pool is done on a daily basis by the friendly Balinese staff.
Will be back to stay here next trip, It''s the best around here and at a budget price!!!
