LondonAmazing Villa
Left on 03/04/2013 for a stay in January 2013
I hired out the entire villa over Christmas for two weeks for a group of 10, and it was perfect for such a large group, we absolutely loved it! Quiet & relaxing as well as being to make as much noise as you want! Our own little bit of paradise! The rooms were wonderful, the pool was amazing and the staff superb! The location is great if you want to visit all of the amazing resorts and beaches Bali has to offer, unfortunately we went at 'the peak of the peak season' and the traffic into Seminyak was a nightmare however managed to work around it! Gede our butler was so amazing and attended to every need. I would definitely recommend this villa if you want to take the entire villa for a large group of friends, it truly is like a home away from home!

This is a great place with a rustic, relaxed feel. This teak house is nestled about 1 km away from the main road, and offers a quiet, tranquil setting with lots of greenery and even animals (you can see cows, chickens, roaming ard down the hill).
Enjoyed the stay very much with the ever friendly local (Gede) who will great care of you, with in-house breakfast, transport arrangements and buy-in dinner from nearby restaurants. Massage at villa was great too. One thing though, note that there are some flies and mosquitoes in the living area (as with alot of Bali villas), so light the mosquito coil!

We spent some amazing days at this wonderful place, that is one of a kind: So much heart and soul must have went into this - it's one big piece of art and a joy to stay at.
The villa's staff is also fantastic - very very friendly people, top-notch service. You can't go wrong with this one and we dearly recommend this rental.
Thumbs up!

We spent half of our Bali vacatio in at Casaviva. I must say that it is better than on the pictures online. The Casa design is absollutely perfect, both local and modern, it met our best expectations and dreams.
The location is so private that you can feel yourself hidden in the jungle and away from anything exept those you love.
The service is "boutique" level and style: you can get whatever you want and, on the other hand, you can just stay alone on your own if you want.
Gede is very professinal and friendly. Request him for in Casa napkin master class, you won't be dissapointed!
The penthouse roof is the rigt location for stars observation. We may also suggest to go for a morning walk around, if you are lucky you can find very traditional and rather rich Balinese house with big temple, it is just on the right hand side when you turn from the motorway.
Again, we are very happy to find this property and to stay there. It was true Balinese experience and high level of comfort.

Gold Coast, AustraliaCan you feel the serenity?
Left on 08/02/2012 for a stay in July 2012
We were greeted by Gede at the airport The transfer to villa was in 2 cars - a dual cab 4wd for all the luggage and a ppl mover.
Took an hour to get to the villa - lots of traffic on the way. The drive from Jl Uluwatu to the Villa along Gg Bangbang Bendot was a little sketchy with lots of pot holes, with local shantys and a rubbish tip and took roughly 3-5 minutes. We were amazed on arrival, as the villa is exactly as it looks on Trip advisor - only Sooo much better because we were there in person! Greeted by Gede's staff of Wayan & Sri who provided us with ice cold towels on arrival and fresh watermelon juice. Shortly after our arrival - Gede went to get our lunch that we had pre-ordered before we left australia - as we had arrived at lunch time. Breakfast which was included each morning consisted of choice of eggs (most people ate omeletes which had everything on it inc mushrooms, onion, tomato, capsicum etc), banana pancakes, toast, freshly cut fruit (always 3 varieties) freshly juiced/blended fruit - papaya or watermelon or pineapple - all very delicious, spreads on the table for toast were strawberry jam, marmalade, honey or nutella.
For the lunches and dinner you could order take out and Gede would go and get it and we ate in - this was heaps more convenient as the villa was a little isolated. Overall, a great place to stay. Thankyou again to Indra and Selly, and especially to your wonderful staff. Gede, Sri and Wayan.Response from Selly - 08/08/2012

Perth, AustraliaStunning Villa, Great Value for Money
Left on 07/18/2012 for a stay in May 2012
My sister and I found this Villa on FlipKey, and we stayed here in a group of 6 girls for a week.
There has been a lot of thought gone into the design and presentation of the Villa, which was excellent. Every single one of us said "wow" when we walked down those steps. It was much more lavish and opulent that we expected. We did very much enjoy our stay, and the free WiFi was a life saver - especially when we wanted to post pics of the villa and make all our friends back home jealous! :o)
Although the presentation was excellent, the way the place was run seemed a little "disorganised", not bad or poor, just disorganised. However it is a new property so naturally there are a few teething problems - most of the issues were quite minor and easily fixed and we have been in touch with the owner who was very appreciative of the feedback, and promised to resolve them.
The location is good, nice and quiet and "out of the way", but a bit of a drive to Ubud and Seminyak.
Best bits were the superb architecture and design of the Villa. It was truly stunning!
The pillows were fantastic, the showers, the in-house massages, the awesome library,
And it was just fantastic value for money.
Least favourite bits were no microwave, and the iPod player didn't work (both have been reported to the owner).
Also, watch out when paying via PayPal that you choose the "gift" or "money owed" option rather than "service", otherwise there will be PayPal fees incurred which CasaViva will deduct from your security deposit.Response from Selly - 08/08/2012

Hi Michelle!
Thank you for sharing with "the Flipkey community" this summary of the amazingly detailed and thoughtful evaluation that you emailed us some time ago.
Acting on your advice, we have now added three iPod docking stations around the villa and installed a microwave.
Paypal is a super convenient and safe way to send money to Bali, but yes both Casaviva and the owners do get to pay a small fee.
Wishing you all the very best,

Fantastic luxury accommodation real value for money, absolutely stunning..
Our villa was so beautiful, exceeded our expectations, the pictures hardly do it justice. We were so lucky to find it.
We are real fussy and only committed initially to one night so we could change if needed. We ended up staying the whole eight nights of our holiday.
The first four nights we were lucky enough to be the only guests so we had the whole vila to ourselves. This was great!!. We chose the room that opened out to the pool and for us thought this was the best room in the vila.
We were well looked after, the Butler alvin was very helpful he did everything from providing us with a mobile and local sim so we could contact him if we needed him to bringing us petrol in the rain when we ran our scooter dry. Sri our maid was also very efficient not to mention a great cook, we ate in four of our eight nights and had her cook for us traditional indonesian food.
The villas are located in a nice peaceful area, away from the hustle and bustle of Kuta/Seminyak but still close enough that if you want to go in for a shopping fix its not to far.
We hired a scooter for the duration of our stay and found it ample enough to get around with from the vila, we went on day trips to Ubud, Nusa Dua, Uluwatu and Seminyak.
The villas are ideal for group or family bookings. Were very satisfied and will defiantly go back and stay again.

Left on 02/05/2012 for a stay in December 2011
For me it's the perfect mix between a modern tropical location and balinese/indonesian flavour, e.g. the stylish living room/lounge is seated under a traditional indonesian roof. The room we stayed was beautiful and clean - in front of the pool to jump in right away.
The staff and the family who runs the villa are really lovely people, reliable and helpful, who always have hints and insider tips what to do and explore.
I enjoyed very much that the place is quiet and a little off the beaten tourist tracks but still not too far away. -

We had a nice two night stay at this villa. It is miles away from anything, making it the ideal place to share a relaxing time with friends and family.
While it cannot match the 5 star mega resorts in convenience, it has the best cost-performance in entire Bali.
Hope to checkout their third villa soon -

Stayed there during a business conference and all 5 stars big hotels were full. In the end it was so much nice to stay there and receive a real personalised service, and with a rental car I could easily attend the conference only 15 minutes drive away.
The owners will help you in any way they can.
Beautiful place.
