Description from the owner
A little piece of Africa, just 5 minutes from the heart of Sandton. Canle Guest Lodge is close to Sandton, Rosebank and Illovo commercial centres and is within easy walking distance of Melrose Arch and the Wanderers Cricket Stadium. We have three comfortable double guest rooms 2 of which have a self catering option, tea & coffee making facilities, TV, WI-FI internet connection and hairdryers. Each room has an outdoor seating area and the gardens and heated swimming pool are also available to guests.
Breakfast is served on the enclosed patio overlooking the fruit and seed bird feeders where many indigenous species come to feed.

I stayed here with a friend during the world cup in 2010. I was very impressed overall. Accommodation is separate from the main building and is large and spacious with ensuite facilities. Breakfast was included which I had no complaints with. The hosts went out of their way to make us feel welcome - picking us up from the train station as well as taking us out for the day to experience clay pigeon shooting. It is located near to the main shopping areas of the city and transport links are nearby. The area is safe and we had no problems at all.
I would have no reservations about recommending staying here to any one.
