Nestled in 10 acres of woods, our cabin provides a rare blend of country luxury, peace and tranquility. A hot tub under the stars awaits you after a long day on the slopes, mountains or water. There are three porches for star gazing and a large firepit for roasting marshmallows.
Come inside and gather around the woodstove, enjoying the large screen TV, stereo and DVD player, curling up with a book, or playing a game on the dining table fashioned from hand hewn wood felled on the property. The cabin is located in the Town of Johnsburg, which includes the Village of North Creek. North Creek is home to Gore Mountain, a full service ski area with a high speed gondola, miles of downhill and cross country trails, rentals and lessons, tubing, and a lodge. There are excellent restaurants in the Village of North Creek, including barVino, Trappers Tavern, Cafe Sarah and the restaurant at the Black Mountain Inn. The area is well-known for excellent white water rafting in the Spring, and provides numerous outdoor experiences in the Summer and Fall. It is less than 1.5 hours north of Albany, NY, or less than 3.5 hours from New York City. The cabin is located off a major road, so four-wheel drive is not needed to get there.

Additional notes from owner
Fee includes all taxes and fees, use of the hot tub, and some firewood. Fee based upon occupancy by 2 adults and their children under 17 years of age. Additional guests are $50 per person, per night. Special rates for off-season, longer stays and couples. Security Deposit of $200 required in a separate check; returned in full if cabin is left in the same condition as it was delivered. We do not normally provides sheets and towels, but can do so upon request. We do have plenty of pillows and comforters and blankets.

This was a weekend getaway for my fiance and I and it was just what the doctor ordered. The hot tub and wood stove were our favorite things but the cabin was awesome. A wonderful way to get away from everyday life. Thank you Steve and Terri! We will be coming back again!

This was a treat for my husband and I. Cozy cabin, wood stove, hot tub, quiet and R&R.; For skiers (which we are not), this cabin is very close to Gore Mountain. We enjoyed exploring the area and loved having this to come back to. Lots of perks, like Netflix, DVD player, kitchen accessories, firewood stacked right out the front door, clean blankets and, of course, the hot tub. Better than a massage.
Owner Steve even checked in via phone to make sure all was well and our questions were answered.

This was a fabulous cabin! Perfect location, close to many attractions, very clean, very homey, very quiet! We loved the creek on the next road down, and the hosts were extremely nice and very helpful!
