This tastefully appointed villa is available for rent at the prestigious St. James's Club, located on a private 100-acre estate on the south-east coast of Antigua. With breathtaking, Atlantic Ocean views and two groomed white sand beaches, the resort is a perfect getaway for those seeking a vacation home away from home.

At the resort, the club-like ambience prevails throughout, with visiting yachts from around the Caribbean adding a touch of elegance. At its heart lay the guest rooms, restaurants and recreational opportunities of The Club, whilst The Village is an adjacent sanctuary of residential-style villas strategically placed along... the hillside for optimal bay vistas. By day there are two beaches, four swimming pools and the Kid's Club, as well as a variety of onsite water and land-based activities to keep all age groups entertained.

After dark, there are four restaurants of distinct ambience and cuisine nestled within nearby gardens, perched on the hillside or gracing the waters edge. Live music performances and fully-stocked bars beckon the night owls.

The Villa at #424 is well-situated to take advantage of all the amenities the resort has to offer. There are stunning views from the main floor verandah and the lovely beach at Mamora Bay is just a few steps away.

Cheery and bright with warm Caribbean tones and terra cotta tiles, the main floor offers a spacious common area. The living room is equipped with TV, comfortable seating and a sleeper sofa. Daylight bathes the villa in sunlight through two sets of sliding glass doors that open onto a spacious, private outdoor space with chaise lounges and a dining table. The full kitchen allows guests to prepare meals or snacks at their convenience.

The two bedrooms offer individually controlled air-conditioning, ceiling fans, direct-dial telephones, safe, ironing board and iron.   Great place for my husband, 13 month old and I. We enjoyed our stay in Villa 424 at St. James immensely. The villa itself was really nice, with comfortable indoor and outdoor furniture. Only complaint was that the floors could have been cleaned better, and we did buy an additional cleaning service, but that still didn't do it.
  
  Location was fantastic, only steps from the beach. The villa is on the bay side of St. James, so the waves were virtually nonexistent (which was perfect for our son to play.) A short walk to the atlantic Ocean on the other side of the peninsula had a rougher surf.
  
  Patio was large and great for hanging out at night, listening to the live music from the restaurant/bar at St. James while our son was sleeping.
  
  The villa is at the edge of the property, so the view to the right includes a chainlink fence with barbwire, which wasn't the most appealing sight, but all other views were gorgeous.
  
  Definitely can't beat being right on the beach. Would return with my family in the future. Love the island of antigua and the people couldn't be nicer.
  
  (For parents - The portable crib was a bit sketchy and had I known, probably would've brought my own, but it was ok since my son is a bit older. Would definitely worry with a child under 12 mos.)

  It is a lovely villa and set in a most wonderful position, the wonderful calm waters on the Mamora bay are ideal, and for children.
  
  Apologies you were not happy with the cleaning of the floor ( a quick call to reception would have probably put that right for you ) housekeeping would have come back in.
  
  All in all it sounds like you had a great time.Enough to want to return.
