Villa Azure is situated on the Harbour View development, a two minute walk from Jolly Harbour. Jolly Harbour, the largest man-made marina in the Caribbean, is on the southwest coast of Antigua. There are various bars and restaurants and even a casino with regular entertainment. Jolly Harbour has an 18 hole golf course, Olympic size swimming pool, tennis and squash courts, as well as one of the most beautiful beaches on the island. Jolly Harbour also boasts a fully stocked large supermarket with everything you could possibly need.

Upstate NYPerfect location and all we needed

We had a great stay at this villa, which fit our family of five perfectly. The
Iiving room is spacious and open. New flat screen TV worked great. Beds were comfortable, despite my reservations when I saw there were no box springs, but the mattresses were firm and seemed relatively new. Wasn't thrilled with the quality of the sheets, but that's a minor thing (I like all cotton, so next time I'd bring my own). They did provide beach towels, but it would really help if they provided chairs and a cooler to bring to the beaches, which we had to buy at great expense. Kitchen appliances are old but decent, and closets have plenty of storage. The safe gave us trouble, but our kind broker raced over and fixed it with a smile. As for safety concerns I saw in older reviews, that did not seem to be a problem whatsoever. All the locals could not have been friendlier. Try Isabelle's incredible lobster and fish at Miracle's right down the street. Perfect central location close to shopping and fantastic beaches. Rent a car to see the sights and get to some of the further beaches like Half Moon Bay, which is well worth the trip. I would definitely return.Response from Lush Locations Limited - 06/04/2012

Villa azure is in a convenient location for Jolly Beach and Darkwood Beach. Only a 20 minute drive from the airport. The villa is spacious and clean and has all modern amenities.
The supermarket is very close and is only a short walk across the road and has all the provisions you need.
The pool is nice and the garden is well kept with established palm trees and other tropical plants. The villa is well secured with a good alarm system and is safe.The Lush Location team were very helpful and we were able to contact them easily by phone.
We had a relaxing holiday and enjoyed our stay at this villa.

Short story: It is hard to imagine a better setting if the
goal of your vacation is the kind of quiet quality family
time together that is scarce in real life.
The house was spotlessly clean and furnished exactly as
advertised. The one little problem we had (a stuck tap)
was fixed immediately. There were no problems whatsoever.
The staff of Lush Locations: Amy and Nadia were very
helpful and professional. They arranged transport and a
rental car (through Sunny Rentals, also recommended!).
The only odd thing missing was, of all things, a coffee
maker. Otherwise the kitchen had all we needed. Beds and
bedding were clean, fresh and comfortable.
Between the beach (10 minute walk) and the
plunge pool our 12 year old girls were hardly every out of
the water. The pool is 1 meter deep and built right into
the deck - great for everyone except toddlers. You would
have to keep an eye on anyone who was too young to swim.
We had no issues with noise or neighbors. It was very
peaceful.
There are concerns about security, but we had no problems
at all. Antiqua is going through tough economic times,
right now, but all of the locals we dealt with were just
fine and much friendlier than we get at home. It was the
other vacationing Americans that we had trouble with.
If you don't need a sea view (and the reciprocal views
from all the passersby), then the location of the house is
perfect for a family. The tropical plantings more than
make up for a sea views.
You only need a car for excursions. If you want
diversions, the beach, the marina and several good
restaurants are just a few minutes walk away, near enough
to be convenient but far enough away so you don't hear or
see them when you are sitting on the deck.
We would return in a moment, and we hope to
next year. As a place for a family to chill out and have
quality time together, it is hard to beat. Resorts are
crowded and noisy, and full of distractions that this kind

Antigua is a beautiful island and the people are wonderful. The girls in charge of the
house where we were staying were very supportive and helpful. Securiy is a huge
problem and until this area has round the clock security, similar to other
neighbourhoods, I would be reluctant to stay in the same house again. This is a
huge shame as the house is delightful and an ideal family holiday let both in

Thank you for your review and I am sorry you had a security issue when you were in Villa Azure and I am sorry its taken me so long to address it.
There was an issue within Harbour View and the Police did find the teenagers that were causing the problems and since then there has been no more crime in the area, its been over a year now. Its very safe and all the homes are now occupied with long and short term guests. Theres a real community and we have had no further problems. All our homes do now have security systems.
