Villa 222C, a delightful waterfront home with a large extended deck. The villa has a bright, spacious open plan ground floor with a fully equipped kitchen and dining/living area. This area extends out onto a covered verandah through large sliding doors where you can enjoy wonderful al fresco meals while taking advantage of the stunning views across the harbour. It also has a large sundeck which adjoins the verandah, built right over the water.

33388Very hot - and a long way from Sailing Week venues

Recently rented this place for racing crew accommodations during Sailing Week. Very pleasant villa with nice deck overlooking Jolly Harbor, and good beach access. Very clean and generally well maintained. Very good WiFi.
Drawbacks were that none of the three a/C units worked (and antigua was very hot during Sailing Week), and it is 45 min to 1 hr drive to Falmouth Harbor race docks/yacht club.
It would be a very nice destination for boat lovers who want to sleep on land and have all the amenities (if the a/C actually worked, that is), and yet have the boat on the slip ready for a day sail. Not recommended as a location for Sailing Week race crews.
The a/C really needs to be fixed. When the wind dies, it gets really really hot in there.Response from Lush Locations Limited - 05/18/2012

The location of the villa helped greatly to awesome time we had during our first visit to antigua. It had wonderful views and the sun shone on the deck until just after 3pm every day. The villa was very well equipped. The only problems we had was the absence of a bbq, there was a very small one but not sufficent for a family meal (this is the main reason why we have chossen another villa for our stay later this year). The other concern we had was the broken locks on the external sliding doors.
